But, ur assuming Trump won't be ruling over a 3rd term. In the interim, let's see the maneuvers he (Trump) will make (is making) to ensure a midterm win.

The order requires the AG ‘shall take appropriate action to review the activities of all departments and agencies exercising civil or criminal enforcement authority of the United States. On February 5, 2025, hours after being sworn in as attorney general Pam Bondi signed a memorandum establishing the Weaponization Working Group to review politicized prosecutions The EO puts into question the norm that the DOJ had long operated under, which was the independence of the DOJ to operate unrestricted and apart from the Executive. Trump was directing the actions of the DOJ.
