  1. Couldn't agree more. The older I got the more I asked myself 'why am I putting up with this sh*t if I don't have to'. Why a politician does it in today's world is beyond me sometimes.
  2. Ahhhh, guess that's why he puts the military in cities who don't want them, or targets retribution to his detractors, or coerced the media, universities and law firms, or ignores the process of deportations. Makes sense now....
  3. No, the show was paused because of a threat from the FCC. Facts are that the US is moving towards a dictatorship. If you're good with that enjoy....just be careful of what you say. That don't count.... 😂
  4. Yeah I don't like him, so what. Answer the question of why free speech in this case only applies to what Trump wants to hear or doesn't hear.
  5. Trump has an approval rating of 35%. Better getting rid of him.... There was no insult to the murder. The FCC chairman changed his tune today.... it's because of 'appearing to directly mislead the American public'. Trump does it with you and Legato, but nobody else can do it?
  6. For someone who says they don't idolize Trump you certainly appear to be more than supportive of his every action. Who cares about free speech right....so long as the narrative is how you want it.
  7. Trump Deification Syndrome (TDS) is real. He has an adminsitration that has no choice but to respect and bow to his every desire and a cult following that willingly hang on to every word, truthful or not. God bless America....
  8. I care a lot about it. No, crime is not getting worse in Canada. The facts are that most types of crime have been declining. I'll wait to hear more from Carney on this rather than listening to angry Poilievre. The five violations that contributed the most to the decline in the overall CSI in 2024 were non-violent in nature, accounting for three-quarters (75%) of the overall decrease. In order of impact on the CSI, police-reported rates of breaking and entering (-11% of the rate per 100,000 population), child pornography (-15%), motor vehicle theft (-17%), theft of $5,000 or under (-9%) and mischief (-6%) were all down from 2023. The Violent CSI decreased 1% in 2024, having a comparatively smaller impact on the overall CSI. Prior to this, the Violent CSI had risen for three consecutive years, increasing 15% over that period. Compared with 2023, the Violent CSI recorded lower rates for many violations in 2024, such as level 1 sexual assault (-3%), extortion (-10%), robbery (-2%), attempted murder (-12%) and level 3 or aggravated assault (-8%). Combined, these violations accounted for 80% of the decrease in the Violent CSI. https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/daily-quotidien/250722/dq250722a-eng.htm
  9. I did until I saw it was carved out by the Conservative Party of Canada.
  10. You need to read a bit more then. These are foundations that are needed to get the country moving in there right direction. Infrastructure and home building doesn't magically get built in 6 months.... https://www.pm.gc.ca/en/news/news-releases/2025/09/11/prime-minister-carney-announces-first-projects-be-reviewed-new https://www.pm.gc.ca/en/news/news-releases/2025/09/14/prime-minister-carney-launches-build-canada-homes Carney knows how to read the room and clearly immigration is an issue for most Canadian's which he's acknowledge and said that 'clearly we need a more focused approach'. He's no fool...
  11. And a big problem we had was the federal government getting in the way to slow down approvals. That's been removed. He has an industry exec running the Major Projects office. He knows that needs to be done, she knows what needs to be done, and I trust we'll see it happen going forward.
  12. No, it's not the same government that is doing the same stuff. No, I don't see the similarities between the two of listening to the provinces and industry leaders. Neither do the provinces or industry leaders. Well if John Robson said it must be fact.... But seriously, do you honestly think that years of mismanagement are magically resolved in 6 months?
  13. Who said the nation building idea's are bad, Poilievre? Energy industry players and Alberta’s premier say they see promising signs in the first batch of projects announced under Ottawa’s new fast-tracked approval process, “When I looked at the first five projects, I thought: ‘Finally — they get it,’ because it’s all the projects that have been difficult to build,” Alberta Premier Danielle Smith told reporters in Edmonton. Building LNG export capacity and other oil and natural gas related projects are among of the fastest ways to diversify Canada’s global customer base and increase our economic and energy sovereignty in the face of international economic uncertainty,” said Lisa Baiton, president and CEO of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers. “The inclusion of LNG Canada’s Phase 2 on the government’s nation-building projects list reflects the essential role energy infrastructure plays in Canada’s economic sovereignty and energy security,” François Poirier said in a news release. The project going ahead would help Canada’s international trade position, said Kent Fellows, an economist with the University of Calgary’s School of Public Policy. “It’s not a game changer, but with nation building infrastructure, I don’t think we should expect a one-silver-bullet answer to this,” he said. “It’s going to be a bunch of incremental projects and this seems like one of them — and an important one.”
  14. You're complaining about a government that is not in power any more. Trudeau is gone, thankfully, and so far I struggle to see many similarities at all between him and Carney as it relates to what's needed to build our economy. Funny enough the most vocal Premier Danielle Smith doesn't either and has praised a guy who "finally get's it'. That can be said of Ford and Houston and most other Premiers. Complain about the past all you want and root for this new government to fail if it suits your wants. Personally, I get tired of listening to complainers real quickly....
  15. Then I guess you should just keep on complaining each day. Start each day with Rebel News and then come out here to complain about the Trudeau years, go out front to yell at any immigrants that might be walking down the street, take a drive around town to see how many white Canadian kids you see working at Tim Hortons, stop at a grocery store to look at food prices, drive by a walk in clinic to see what kind of line ups, and then come back here to complain about Trudeau again. Sounds like the perfect day for you and the other habitual complainers of life....
  16. The march toward a dictatorship continues... The world according to Trump. It's going to be an interesting next few years.
  17. Gather you read some phycology books in your spare time at the hospital.... I told you what I think of Trump but if you think I hate him fine, I'm okay with that. Is there a next step for me here or do I just have to live with it?
  18. No, in fairness you don't complain and b*tch all day like Shady, which is where this started and you jumped in. I wouldn't play the intelligence thing.... your typical one or two line riddles don't qualify as that. I agree, it's a system that has been broken but FFS I'm not going to sit around and b*tch about it every day. We have a new government if you weren't aware. Not the one you wanted but one the majority of Canadians did. Complain all you want if it makes you feel better but there is sweet f*ck all you can do about the past. And yeah, I've been known to swear. Your point is what?
  19. It's not hate, it's called a strong dislike for the man. On the flip side though, love is blind and you're enamoured with him. Whatever for your fascination but the amusing part is that he's hell bent to break our economy and the loyal Maple Mage sheep like you adore the guy. Seriously...?
  20. First idea.... how about stop b*tching and crying about the Trudeau years because guess what.... Trudeau's gone. He's not in government anymore, seriously he isn't. If you haven't seen anything happen yet you're oblivious like the other minions who just like to b*tch and complain. I'm sure you think Poilievre would have had 3 pipelines and 4 LNG terminals built already right.... 'People' aren't wondering AG. Carney has a 60% approval rating. It's too bad that again the conservatives couldn't have had a candidate that gave Canadian's a viable alternate choice. Maybe the next conservative leader can be somebody....
  21. Think about it for a minute.... You enjoy and are versed in politics and the schtick that goes with it (fair assumption?). Most people don't....and that's fact. If 'no one' listened to what he said it wouldn't have been a small media shit storm because of the comments. Most people don't spin things and read between lines, they hear what he said and take that at face value because he's the president (insert joke). You spin that because you like his schtick. It's that simple....
  22. It's only sad if that's what you want to teach and influence the younger generation with, so congrats on the work you're doing with that. Coincidently I have younger children that are doing well and building families but like a lot of Canadian's working hard to make ends meet. Funny enough though they don't sit around every day b*tching about the Trudeau years. Go figure... And yes, I have zero problem saying I voted liberal this federal election. It was the only choice we had, and I think a good one at that.
