  1. I have little interest in the topic at hand. No idea what IRGC members are and wouldn't know those other various jihadi types from the other types....whatever those are.
  2. No, the tariffs your orange idol Trump applied. The US started regulations in the mid-70's mainly because of the oil crisis and mandated in 1978. Canada had a voluntary from 1980 to 2006, then to a mandatory phase from 2007 to 2010, and finally the 'Passenger Automobile and Light Truck Greenhouse Gas Emission Regulations' that aligned with US standards in 2010. I forget which government we had between the years of 2007 and 2010. Do you remember? Regardless of who it was, it's clear you have the opinion they were some kind of fùcked up stewards....
  3. Don't forget 18B in tariff costs that are passed on to the consumer. No, I'll have lots of nickels regardless of what this or future governments do with mileage requirements Not sure what it cost the environment, but fortunately and notwithstanding the current inept US administration, governments that will hopefully always be stewards of the environment.
  4. Who cares... The opportunity for more personal and family financial gains are far more important than global stability or national security.
  5. Yes, I'm sure that less efficient fuel milage and the high cost of gas make people drive less. Can't pull one over on you... You clearly have trouble finding information. Try this for starters, but of you need more info, google it yourself; North American governments impose vehicle mileage requirements—known as Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards—primarily to reduce oil consumption, curb greenhouse gas emissions, and lower fuel costs for consumers. These regulations encourage technological innovation, reduce reliance on foreign oil, and help achieve environmental goals by forcing automakers to increase fleet efficiency. Try reading.... it really does help, but only if you're able to comprehend. Try anyway....
  6. So, he blew smoke up everyone's ass last year and is blowing it up there again now. Proxy terrorism will be around until the end of time and not even the US military can eradicate that. He picked a fight here that guaranteed he regrets and is only going to continue to bite his ass The difference there is that other presidents had qualified people and an objective. A couple minor details that are clearly missing in this administration....
  7. The larger picture are governments environmental stewardship which is at the core of why there are fuel and emission standards, and that is not going to change. The US rescinding previous administration standards will change again when the next administration is in place, and I'll bet my last nickel it won't follow the backwards path of that this admin chose. In the meanwhile there is no way manufacturers will be changing spec's to provide a more robust vehicle that burns more gas....won't happen.
  8. Yes EV sales have declined as a percentage of vehicles sold, but still account for ~2M units annually in NA. Whether your head can get around it or not EV's will also dominate NA vehicle sales at some point in the not too distant future. Bet on it when Trump is gone that the next administration rescinds his archaic 1960's views of fossil fuels. Maybe Volkswagen and Stellantis should have talked to you before they invested capital into these projects.... not sure what they were thinking.
  9. I don't know....ask whomever is blaming him for the shooting. You have to admit though... his depth of ignorance does make him an easy target for criticism.
  10. Why? it is what it is... Why do you think the data is that though....impact of tariffs and trade with the US, Carney hasn't built a couple pipelines yet, or it's Trudeau's fault? It has to be one of the three...
  11. I didn't 'blame' Trump for the actions of whomever fired the shots into the consulate. I blamed him and his ego for starting a war that has no clear objectives or end game plan. Follow the bouncing ball.....
  12. I never said they weren't...just merely pointed out the disparity of criminals on either side of the border.
  13. Criminals everywhere with far more per capita residing in the US. But yes, Trump is to blame for this quickly turning into a global mess because of his inflated ego. It is what it is now though so no choice but to watch the human and economic carnage continue...
  14. Your lame analogy of murders while trying to back peddle from your trans comments.... Take it up with him....not me
  15. I agree. Talk to lUSER about that one.... This doesn't strike me as lawyer or any form of eloquent speak... If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed. The funny thing about these "my body, my choice" left4rds is that they'll chain themselves to a tree to save it from the axe, but then they will fight to get a pregnant woman injected with a dangerous and ineffective pseudovaccine that she doesn't even need.
  16. Nuclear proliferation from whom...Iran? That was apparently 'totally and completely obliterated' last year so proliferation to any imminent threat level wouldn't be possible today, unless of course the Iran's nuclear capabilities were in fact not 'totally and completely obliterated'.... The starting of this war is a good life lesson... It doesn't matter whether it's your personal finances, managing your business, or building a shed in the backyard....always have a plan, which clearly wasn't the case here. This is going to a be a long and messy situation that has only heightened the proxy terrorism you mention, and just another foreign policy miscalculation by a president and equally unqualified administraion that will have long lasting effects.
  17. The only thing that surpasses your bias ignorance is your ignorance of facts.... Lol... Zero evidence mileage requirements do anything at all.... Maybe start with the obvious that a 12 year old can figure out.... lower oil consumption that reduces emissions that pollute the environment, and increased fuel efficiency that saves consumers dollars on fuel costs. Let me know if these three points are over your head. If so we can revisit....
  18. I've never claimed it was hypothetical. It's factual. Why should I care if anyone wants to embellish it as a crisis. Your 'side' refers to it as a hoax. No, I haven't heard it here but am sure at some point I heard someone or another say it was a crisis. Your point? I didn't pay much attention to Greta other than thinking she was a passionate little activist who was drawing a lot of attention to her cause, and probably making a good living doing it. Are you talking about the climate, or trannies again?
  19. Lol... see, you can't say anything without blaming a liberal. Anyway, you do know that because the federal and provincial governments committed subsidies to these companies it doesn't mean they owned or managed those businesses right? We can debate the amount of federal and provincial subsidies... but still have two EV battery plants that are scheduled to start production this year and next. Where's the waste? Northvolt declared bankruptcy...why do you blame that on liberals? And it was Trump who changed industry policies, not the liberal government. Why blame them?
  20. Keep up... We're talking about government regulations that the industry adjusts to with each administration. Agree though and same with tariffs.... doesn't matter if a Democrat comes in the tax revenue remains, unless it's a burden to the US consumer.
  21. You can't keep up... and I'm having a hissy fit. 🤡 So what if people have said it here... I didn't. I'm guessing we're talking about it because that's the title of this thread? You obviously can't, and am sure you don't want to look too far either... A simple copy of paste of your ridiculous comment and 10 seconds of your time will debunk that theory.
