  1. Compared to Republicans? https://www.huffpost.com/entry/latest-news-live-updates_n_69dcb4aae4b00247ba9c0bc9 "A Jan. 6 rioter, who was pardoned by President Donald Trump, will plead guilty to federal charges in a child exploitation case involving multiple victims, according to court documents. According to court documents, in 2015 and 2016, Daniel enticed a minor under the age of 12 “to engage in sexually explicit conduct” for the purpose of producing “a visual depiction” of the conduct, among other allegations." AI: "At least 33 individuals who were part of the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack have been re-arrested, charged, or sentenced for new crimes. Nature of Charges: The new charges against these individuals are serious and include child molestation, assault, harassment, aggravated kidnapping, and murder plots."
  2. In itself it won't be profitable and may not last. But if causes the private stores to lower their prices it will be worth it. Don't know about the US but in Canada the major chains price-gouge and keep getting caught colluding and cheating customers.
  3. I assume you're talking about the Republicans.
  4. We are and will. Inflation and price gouging have a lot to do with that.
  5. So you have no proof. A lot of 'prayer' is just selfishness: "Oh, big man in the sky, let me win a lottery.' 'Oh, Giant Invisibleness, cure my cancer." In those cases a lot of people are disappointed and therefore worse off for 'praying'. Pete Hegseth's prayers are actually evil. "Give them... overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy." A lot of prayer is really meditation, repeating learned prayers. Meditation actually clears the mind of desires and stress, thereby focusing and sharpening the mind.
  6. So many 'debates' on here deteriorate into childish name calling, time-wasting stoopidity. And the common denominator is almost always 'Cdnfox'. Why is that?
  7. What did Prince say? "Maybe you're just like my mother, she's never satisfied." The consumer carbon tax was eliminated effective April 1, 2025. 10 cents isn't much but every bit helps.
  8. Alan Dershowitz is a Trump lackey who even thinks Trump should have a third term. Talk about bias!
  9. Conservatives lose even more support. Big surprise.
  10. WTF? Are you talking about the Cons who crossed over to get away from their loser leader?
  11. Does he have any corroboration? Would a jury believe him? Did Obama say: "I don't even wait. And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything." Grab them by the ****. You can do anything." Yeah it was a civil suit, but it was a jury that weighed the arguments and came to the verdict.
  12. Wow! Almost half a day and not a word from the right. The wins are not surprises. But what is telling about them is the drop in Conservative support. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/byelection-liberal-conservatives-carney-majority-government-9.7161054 "... the Conservative candidates performed relatively poorly in all of Monday's races. While the party captured about 30 per cent of the vote at the last general election in Scarborough-Southwest, the Conservative candidate is on pace to take roughly 18 per cent of ballots cast this time — a double digit drop-off. The Conservative vote share has also plunged in University-Rosedale. The party's candidate has slipped from second to third place and the party's vote share is about half of what it was last time." And you still think that Poilievre is 'The Guy'?
  13. There are ways to search a whole website for words or phrases. One way: site:wikipedia.org "space exploration". Might not bring up recent occurences.
  14. Exactly! Speculators. Backed by the goods created and economic activity of a country. That's partially right but gold does have a lot of practical applications. And you're going to do what to China with that?
  15. Initial Verdict (May 2023 - $5 Million): A Manhattan federal jury found Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation, awarding Carroll $5 million. The jury did not find him liable for rape under New York's narrow legal definition at the time, but Judge Lewis Kaplan later clarified that the act met the common definition of "rape".
  16. I spent a lot of years in Church. I also took the TM course many years ago. Both those organisations are frauds. But prayer and meditation are real. We just don't need to pay Preachers or Gurus to take advantage of them. Anyone can pray or meditate on their own. Like I said: Read 'The Relaxation Response', by Herbert Benson. (It's a short book. You can get though it.) Meditation is a simple physiological practise . AI: "Meditation is a practice of internalizing awareness to calm the mind and observe thoughts, while prayer is generally an active, externalized spiritual conversation with a higher power, often involving requests or gratitude." But I appreciate you showing up and talking about something you have no knowledge of with absolutely no information I'm saying something completely untrue. Watching you act like a fool makes me sad.
  17. Crypto is a threat to everyone and a crook's best friend. No wonder Trump and his cronies like it so much. What makes one crypto sanctioned and another one not? What is the real value of crypto? Zero. There will be some major crashes. Remember NFTs? Hah! Good luck with that one.
  18. What's your point? He is a childish !diot. His posts corroborate that.
  19. As you look in the mirro and say: "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me".
  20. That's meditation, not prayer. And religion has nothing to do with it. Read 'The Relaxation Response', by Herbert Benson. Phuck you're a childish !diot.
