Well, when you can’t actually defend your position on the subject, you can always try to mischaracterize others instead. Well, first of all, wishing for death (expecting) is not what makes someone a gold digger. Being in a relationship because you value the status, money, and material gains over the persons character or their other traits does. Second, the point for how disgusting the joke is was not dependent upon it being interpreted as expecting an assassination. Third, is was not about gold diggers generally speaking, but very specifically about the President and First Lady.
