It was pretty obvious. Most of the COVID deaths in children were because they already had some kind of existing medical issue that caused complications. Healthy young kids had a nearly non-existent insignificant risk of death from COVID. Get a vaccine or do not, I don't care, just saying it is no big deal either way for kids, unless they have underlying medical issues or complications of concern.

This is not true. She was shot as she was accelerating into an Officer with her vehicle trying to evade arrest as her friend was yelling DRIVE DRIVE She was shot because she turned her vehicle into a deadly weapon in driving towards the officer as she did. It is on video.

It is not just Canada, it is America too. You start looking at the criminal history of these people and you can see a lifetime of repeat offenses, often escalating until they finally get caught for something really bad like Murder. The entire concept of jail being a place to reform people, to get them back out on parole, etc... has failed miserably. It doesn't help that we have also gotten rid of mental institutions where we involuntarily commit people, and instead let them roam the streets now. Not sure if you do that up in Canada too or not, but some of the recent stabbings and burtual murders and attacks that went viral here in America are from crazy people that the system just lets go back out on the streets over and over again. They attack people, harm them, then are just right back out on the streets. Hell, the big wake up moment for me was watching an episode of COPS 20 years ago now, and they were chasing down someone who stole a car. This guy crashed the car and endandgered lives and when the police caught him, turned out it was some kid, who had been caught 5 times before this for doing the same thing. The Police were like, well, guess we will see him back out on the streets doing this again soon... I knew a home burglarly detective, retired, spent almost 30 years of his life as an Officer, most of it as a detective investigating property crime... all he did was paperwork, out of 700 home break ins a year, they had a team of 3 detectives, you do the math. They showed up, filled out paperwork, and then on to the next house. Unless someone left a bloody handprint behind, they never caught anyone. The few times they did catch someone, because it was just a home break in property crime, they were back on the streets in less than a year. At most it was a 1-2 year sentence and usually out on parole for good behavior after 6 months. Then they are back to stealing again. Say what you will about Sheriff Joe Arapio he wrote a great book on this, that prison was just a moment in time for career criminals. It was a small stop where they got free food, exercise, cable TV, health care, and then they were off to the next criminal activity when they got out. Which is exactly why he wanted to make jail miserable.

Their incitement is exactly what fuels the fire for these "protestors" to go be agitators and break the law and get into situations where they end up dead for trying to flee and almost run over an Officer in the process.

I was on a forum like this a long time ago and got in trouble once like this, because the person was lying about the conversation and so I posted exactly what they said. I think it is a stupid rule. If you send someone something, it is between you and that person, unless either of you want to share it. Any agreements to keep private are between you, and can be voided by either party based on the circumstances. That is my take.

The only people who have this fear reasonably are here ILLEGALLY. So, what is your point? I want people here ILLEGALLY to be fearful because THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW and we want to deter this from continuing to happen. ICE is operating in majority red states as well, but it is not as sensationalized because the local law enforcement and political leadership is not making it an political issue to oppose ICE. Also, as it was pointed out, ICE has to operate with different more aggressive tactics in these Blue cities and states, BECAUSE they do not cooperate, if forces ICE out into the communities to arrest these criminals instead of simply stopping by the jail to arrest them before they are let go.

And something like 2/3 of those deaths had underlying medical conditions that complicated things. The simple reality is that COVID was only a major risk for older people and people with underlying medical issues.
