Words on paper. They meant nothing to Iran. They just needed enough space to build their bomb. That is why they demanded to be able to dictate where inspectors could inspect and banned specific military bases from inspection. Words on paper meant nothing because we could not catch them if we played by the rules. It was probably the worst agreement in the history of the United States. That is not hyperbole. It took us down the road to nuclear bombs in every major European capitol and maybe even the US. This war was the real world equivalent to cutting the red wire with one second on the timer.

Outstanding post. Several people have said "Republicans are not the solution to all your problems but Democrats are the cause of most problems." This holds true to that statement. The Democrats voted for a bad agreement that led to the short war with Iran. Worse, their bad agreement put us dangerously on the edge of a nuclear holocaust. The war with Iran will go down, in history, as an short, incredibly consequential "excursion".

I mean, I thought those were obvious enough that I did not have to set them up. But if you need a couple of examples, sure. First, I gave as much evidence as he gave. Everything he said was a straw-man. He provided no examples other than his fabricated scenarios. For example, he said MAGA's response to "he did not get congressional approval for war" is something stupid. I forget what he said. It was lame. But, the actual response I nse from most MAGA is "the POTUS has authority to take swift military action for a set period of time before approval is needed." Of course, that didn't fit his straw-man arguments. Now, the entire video was an ad hominem attacks on anyone that might appreciate a MAGA argument. The assertion here was that MAGA does not debate rationally or have serious opinions and there fore should not be taken seriously because they are all stupid. He wanted to assert that MAGA opinions are not worthy of consideration. So he created a list of accusations, not backed by any substantive or even realistic examples, that render MAGA opinions unworthy of consideration. All the while he accused MAGA of engaging in straw-man, ad hominem, what-about-ism and hypocrisy that just filled his videos. Then he just made up this b.s. about Charlie Kirk being unprepared and never proving a point. Which is ironic because this guy can't even prove his point against the straw-man fallacies he created. Further, Charlie was extremely well prepared. He would quote scripture off the top of his head. He knew studies and would quote them on any topic. He wouldn't just prove his point, he would pick apart the opponents po in it and then prove his point. He did it in a 1 on however many showed up setting. He took on the best of whomever showed up and was pretty much owning them. This guy's is a fake. A wannabe. A loser that can't form a coherent thought against real competition. No wonder @robosmith loves him. Two peas in a pod.

This is going to fall apart in court: SkyNews "The 35-year-old was on duty and driving a rented, unmarked SUV on the hard shoulder of a highway in the city on 5 February when a car moved into the same lane to try to slow Morgan's vehicle down. The driver of the other vehicle didn't know he was an officer, Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty said on Thursday. After the other car returned to the legal lane, she said, Morgan pulled up alongside and pointed his service weapon at the two people in the vehicle. The car's driver told investigators they feared it was a "crazy person driving down the road aiming guns at people". According to the warrant, Morgan then merged his SUV back into traffic ahead of the alleged victims, who took photos of the SUV's licence plate on their phones. Morgan and his partner, who was not charged, told investigators they were returning to their base at the end of their shift." ********* What will happen in court is the real story will come out. The agents left the scene of a deportation. The "victims" (probably protesters that were harassing the agents) followed and tried to impede them. The ICE agents passed them, using the shoulder and flashed their gun, maybe even pointing it at them. Libbies went ape shit with a gotcha moment.

The Deal With Iran

Degraded is not nearly a strong enough word. And? -
Did anyone watch the 6:22 of irony? He literally did everything he said MAGA was doing. He created a straw-man to prove MAGA creates straw-man arguments. He attacked MAGA for their supposed use of ad hominem attacks. His lack of self-awareness was amaze-balls! Yes, I am bringing back amaze-balls. I miss the 90s and yeah.

It occurs to me that being normal is now considered extreme right as opposed to the year 2000. Discuss.

Ukraine Hoax Revealed

"That stunning line on the limitations of the whistleblower's knowledge was not included in the nine-page letter then-House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., released in late summer 2019 that touched off a months-long political maelstrom and led to Trump's impeachment by a Democrat-led House and his eventual acquittal in the Senate." -

No, the original complaint claimed first hand knowledge. They discovered it was second and third hand knowledge and confronted the whistleblower. The whistleblower confessed. So they changed the form to allow hearsay. No. Hearsay was not whistleblower eligible. And this is not corporate America. No he did not. -
What Kind of Country Is The US Becoming?

Fine. Don't come here. He broke the law, evaded taxes and I would be willing to bet his green card expired and that is why they deported him. After 21 years he should have been a citizen. That is on him for not doing the work necessary to stay. Our country. Our laws. Follow them or face the consequences. Did you know that Canada has some of the most aggressive and mean spirited border agents. I have seen them do all kinds of ridiculous stuff from trying to confiscate a car for having bear mace to trying to take an airplane over an undeclared painting. Your country. Your rules. Take care of the plank in your eye before criticizing the spec in ours. -

Uh no. They are just happy to talk to Americans. -
No. The left is to blame. Your incessant need to accept the perverse led you to promote "treatments" that drastically increased suicide rates and then foolishly attacked anyone that pointed out what a bad idea that was. This stands as more proof that the left is just a bunch of children that should never be allowed to run a lemonade stand, much less a government entity.

Ukraine Hoax Revealed
gatomontes99 replied to gatomontes99's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Couldn't refute the info so you had to attack the commentator? Brilliantly stùpid. Dershowitz was a Democrat until the antisemitism in the party drove him out. I am not surprised that either of you can't refute that the whistleblower was a Trump hater (like you), lied about what he saw, and they changed the rules just to make the whistleblower complaint seem legitimate. The whole thing was a lie. And yet, here you are, in the face of the truth, attacking a Democrat that isn't a Democrat because the hatred of the left drove him away. Brilliantly stùpid. It is brilliant because you drove home the entire point of the thread. The thread is about how Trump hatred drove the Ukraine hoax. You perfectly illustrated that. It was stùpid because you unwittingly did provide a perfect example of Trump hatred all while thinking you actually did something here. -

Psychiatric Morbidity Among Adolescents and Young Adults Who Contacted Specialised Gender Identity Services in Finland in 1996–2019: A Register Study Gender-referred adolescents showed significantly higher psychiatric morbidity than controls both before (45.7% vs. 15.0%) and ≥ 2 years after referral (61.7% vs. 14.6%). Those referred after 2010 had greater psychiatric needs than earlier cohorts, both before (47.9% vs. 15.3%) and ≥ 2 years after (61.3% vs. 14.2%) referral. Among adolescents who underwent medical gender reassignment, psychiatric morbidity increased markedly during follow-up—rising from 9.8% to 60.7% in feminising gender reassignment and from 21.6% to 54.5% in masculinising gender reassignment. After adjusting for prior psychiatric treatment, all gender-referred adolescents had similarly elevated risks of psychiatric morbidity, with hazard ratios approximately three times higher than female controls and five times higher than male controls. ********** This study reinforces what I have always said. Trans people have a mental health issue, that is why their suicide rate is so high before surgery. This also shows that the left's, feel-good, let-them-do-what-they want approach is devastatingly bad. Six in ten committing suicide is far beyond unacceptable. The one in ten suicide rate is way beyond acceptable. Can we finally start dealing with this issue the way it needs to be dealt with?
