It is literally the Federal government's job to protect the rights of citizens. That is like one of the very few constitutional things they do. They arent interfering in states' justice, they are correcting a perceived injustice. I read a synopsis of this case. While she may have had good intentions, it appears to me she did it the wrong way. Like I said, I read the synopsis and not the court records. I just don't have time for that.
