Plenty of people aren't aware that other societies recognize more genders, but still accept that a person can change their gender.

For example: Even the majority of millennials and Gen Zers now accept the gender binary, as do vast majorities of almost every major religious group. Yeah, it's always been like that. Most people, even most millennials and zoomers, don't know the difference between gender and sex, or that sex is bimodal, not binary. This would be like saying "Americans are reembracing religion, the majority of millennials and zoomers now believe in a god!" When really, that's not a new thing, those generations have always been majority-theist. So it doesn't indicate a change in a trend. The truth is most Americans accept that trans people are valid in the gender they identify with. Yes, because the prisons have been privatized. I disagree with that, I think they should be nationalized. However, the point is women's prisons don't just let in male prisoners who claim to be women. They have to prove they've been on hormones. And I know transphobes don't care about data, but the fact is that letting trans women into women's prisons has not caused an increase in sexual assault. Not that the Right actually cares about prison conditions. This is just another case of concern trolling to attack the trannies.

Whenever people point to one of Trump's thousands of crimes and say that he's finished, I always disagree. In America, the rich and powerful are above the law. And conservatives love that Trump is a criminal, so it's not like any of this will cause him to lose support. However, what Trump did with these classified documents was so bad, that for the first time ever, I'm actually thinking this might be it for Trump. The FBI and CIA don't care about corruption and crime, but they do care about national security.

Should we also not teach kids that it's not ok if their parent beats them? Certainly seems that way. Conservatives support policies that protect child molesters. Republicans also block every bill proposed that would end child marriages. So yeah, seems like pedocon theory is real.
