That doesn't mean they're against kids learning that trans people exist. And that is what you mean when you say "pushed on children," you just mean that it's because taught to children. Personally, I totally get where these people are coming from. If a child has signs of gender dysphoria, the parents should know right away so they can help them. But on the other hand, if the kid's parents are transphobic, not telling them might be the lesser evil. I think this should really be a case by case kinda thing. So yeah, I don't think it's anti-trans to think schools should have to tell the parents, I just don't think it should be standard policy. Finally, you started this by saying that nobody said they did, but that was Zeitgeist's argument. That people are rejecting trans rights. The numbers actually show that people are still overwhelmingly in favor of trans rights and against the anti-trans bills, but there is some good faith disagreement over certain trans issues among this majority.

The numbers in that link show that more people think there are only two genders. It doesn't offer any evidence that this reflects more people thinking that a person can't change their gender. The average American thinks there are only two genders and that sex is a binary. However, they also think that a person can transition genders. There are also a lot of Americans who don't believe that, but still oppose all of these anti-trans laws. These are kinda like the people who were kinda racist, but still supported ending segregation.
