Trump inherited a growing economy from Obama, then destroyed it by failing to handle covid. The only way this talking-point works is if you give Trump credit for what Obama did, but then totally ignore the part where the economy fell apart. It's the highest degree of biased selection. Trump had a net loss of jobs. Outsourcing grew while he was president. Gas prices plummeted because so few people were driving during the pandemic. Gas prices dropped all over the world during this time. When the lockdowns ended and people started driving again, the prices went up again. That's why inflation is up all over the world. This is basic economics. The demand goes down, the prices goes down. Demand increases, so does the price. As for the border, Trump didn't actually do much and Biden hasn't changed much. Immigration in general went down during covid. Trump did implement Title 42, which was good. But it's not like he did much on immigration reform as president. It was mostly just rhetoric and racist tweets. WT actual F are you talking about? There wasn't peace in the Middle East at any point when Trump was president. He actually increased the drone strikes that Obama started. Yeeeeeah, if you're trying to defend Trump, maybe don't bring up pedophilia. This is a guy who used to rape children with Epstein.

OMG. This is capitalism brain over 9000. But this is what the establishment wants, so I guess in that sense, capitalism has succeeded. The truth is, the amount a job pays is not reflected in how difficult the job is. Wages are kept low so that the rich have a permanent under-class that they can extract labor from. First of all, the border isn't open, no matter how many times Fox says it is. Secondly, the two parties are pretty much the same when it comes to immigration. That's why immigration has been consistently increasing regardless of who the president is.

You don't think Trump plays the victim constantly? Really? Do you think you might be a simp?

Interesting how a lot of these "statistical blips" happen when something taboo becomes acceptable or legal. Oh, but the increase in trans people, that's not a statistical blip. That's actually part of a plot by the Je... er... "George Soros" to make the kids all trans in order to destroy Western Civilization. But this is what I expect from fascists. Y'all will build entire movements on a few lies. When those lies are debunked, it won't matter, because you don't care about the truth, you care about the results. Right now the main goal of the Right is trans genocide. This is being justified by the idea that kids are being groomed into being trans, but the justification is for the normies. You don't honestly care either way if kids are actually being groomed. That's why when the data debunks the lies, the data is just brushed aside as "statistical blip."

See, this is what I mean. I've said several times that I'm against rioting and so are most anti-fascists, the media just obsesses over the fringe cases. But you have to keep repeating your NPC talking-point because you know you can't defend your stance on the issues.

It's funny how you're arguing that voter ID laws don't make it harder for poor people to vote, while at the same time seem to be acknowledging how difficult it is for a poor person to get to the DMV. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate you helping to make my point, I just hope you can enjoy the humor here. Maybe that's why Canada has less strict voter ID laws than the American states that have them. One can only wonder. Though, considering how you lied a lot in your last power, you might be lying about this too. An honest democratic election is simple. One person = one vote. The electoral college is only in place because it helps right-wing candidates. It's the same reason that the District of Columbia isn't a state. The Republicans aren't allowing that because DC is full of black people, which means they'll vote for Democrats. Duh. The point is to steal purple states, not blue states. Republicans know the voter ID laws won't make a difference in New York or California. Here's a better overall view: Republicans target black voters however they can because they know that this 20% matters. Especially in places like Georgia which is becoming a blue state. And it's not just voter ID laws. This needs to be looked at with all of the other voter restriction laws that target people who are black, poor, or young. Your own source said it was a little over 8% So you're just not going to address my link that debunks your claim. Alright. ?♀️

Doesn't that describe Trump perfectly? He's constantly whining about how he's a victim, but never takes responsibility for the bad things he does. Does this mean Trump is... ... ... WOKE?!

Just because the truth makes you mad, doesn't mean it's not the truth. Yes, it was a statistical blip, which was caused by society no longer hating left-handed people. There was a spike, then it leveled out, and there hasn't been a notable spike since. Um... yes? There wasn't an increase in homosexuality. There was a social change that led to a spike in gay people getting married. The rate of gay marriages isn't continuing to spike today, rather it's leveled out. Yes, they said the same thing about gay people. Literally every argument conservatives are using against trans rights is recycled from their arguments against gay rights. Hollywood is promoting the gay agenda, schools are turning our kids gay, gay people are groomers, soon everyone will be gay, blah blah blah. Now it's the same shit, different target. It's so verfickt transparent and just shows what a crappy job schools do at teaching history. Nope. If you're going to rely on the expects, then you can't selectively choose the ones that help your argument. You have to go by what the majority of experts in the field are saying. There's also just a severe lack of evidence for what she's saying. Bradley has been making this claim since the 2000s. So how come the number of people who regret transitioning is still less than a percent? And that's with the fact that many trans people regret transitioning because their family rejected them for doing so, not because they stopped identifying as the gender they wanted to be. By siding with Bradley, you're siding with someone who has a minority view in her field, plus she has failed to present any evidence that kids are being groomed to transition.

I really wish schools taught kids what it's like to be poor. Y'all really think that poor people can take off and lose a day's pay. And we're also assuming they don't have kids that might make getting to the DMV even harder. According to your source: Even though the majority of workers held a single job in 2013, 8.3% of workers had more than one job — and most held both jobs for the entire year. Also, the amount is increasing: https://www.insidehook.com/daily_brief/health-and-fitness/americans-have-more-than-one-job You're forgetting that America has the electoral college. If we didn't have that, then you'd be correct, the amount wouldn't be enough to change the outcome. But with our system, which basically rigs every election for the Republicans, an amount that small can easily make a difference in swing states. No, because poor white people are generally split on who they vote for. Within the white population, it depends more on region. So while voter ID laws would stop some Republican voters, it would stop way more Democrat voters. This isn't even strawmanning. This is beyond strawmanning. This is like, I don't know, glassmanning. Ohhhhhh really, now? https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/analysis-opinion/three-things-us-could-learn-canadas-election In Canada, unlike in American states with voter ID laws, voters may prove their identity at the polls using a broad range of 40 forms of ID. The Canadian government has modified this list several times since its creation in 2007, adding documents to allow more eligible voters to cast ballots.. Accepted IDs include driver’s licenses and other types of government-issued ID similar to those required in many U.S. states. But voters in Canada also may identify themselves using student IDs, employee cards, and various forms of non-photo IDs, as long as one of them has a current address. Unlike many U.S. jurisdictions, Canada also allows the use of expired driver’s licenses, which many seniors and others who no longer drive continue to use for identification. The wide range of documents accepted limits the possibility of the ID requirement disenfranchising voters. By contrast, U.S. voter ID laws are unduly restrictive in ways that can disenfranchise eligible voters. Alabama, for example, accepts only 10 forms of ID. Texas accepts only seven, including a concealed handgun license but not a University of Texas ID, which is available to over 200,000 students. Neither state accepts expired IDs.

So can you show me some evidence that Margaret Sanger said that quote? Did she print it in a book? Say it on TV? Is there ANY real evidence of this? Holy shit, are you actually retarded for real? That's the joke. The meme is saying anyone can make up any quote and lie about who said it. Of course Lincoln didn't have the internet, that's the point! Now I'm starting to think that pointing out how dumb you are might be ableist.

When being left-handed stopped being taboo, there was a spike in left-handedness. When gay marriage became legal at the national level, there was a spike in gay relationships. The spike we're seeing now with trans people is just the result of people feeling comfortable in being openly trans. Eventually, the numbers will even out just like with homosexuality and left-handedness. Though with the current push for trans genocide from the Right, we might start seeing a reversal. Of course. Adults grew up when being trans was less acceptable. Isn't it obvious? In some states, being trans is way less acceptable. Same reason there are "no" gay people in Iran. Do you have any reason to believe that's happening? That kids are being groomed and radicalized, as opposed to just being taught that gay and trans people exist? That's because transphobes, being stupid, think this is an argument against trans people. It's like the ancient "I identify as a helicopter" joke. I'm sure there are some people who say there's only two genders in good faith, they honestly don't know the difference between sex and gender. But this is pretty much only said by transphobes. It's incorrect because gender is a social concept. Society determines how many genders there are, which is why there have always been societies that recognize three genders.

No, I'm saying if you're poor and work 2 or 3 jobs, you can't afford to take a day off work to stand in line to get an ID. I didn't say they did. I said black people are more likely to be poor and more likely to vote for Democrats. But I understand fascists have to strawman because they lose on the actual arguments. Like I said earlier, I'd be fine with voter ID laws if the government made getting an ID really easy. If they just mailed one to every registered voter then required them to have their ID to vote, that'd be ok. But they're not doing that because it's not really about voter integrity. It's just another voter restriction law that Republicans are trying to do.
-
It's funny how this didn't become a talking-point until rather recently. When the Republicans were still able to get majority support, they didn't seem to care about voter ID laws. Anyway, that's not how it works. In many states if someone hasn't voted for years, they have to reregister. They also have things like signature and witness requirements. Some states even require a photo which they keep to make sure that you're the same person who voted ten years earlier. Seriously, we have so many laws in place to prevent voter fraud, it's a miracle as many Americans vote as they do. Anyone can get an ID, it's physically possible, but it's a lot harder if you're poor. The Republicans know this, that's the point. That's why they're offering no ideas on how to make it easier to get an ID.
-
Nope. And it works. Trump's army of fashy lawyers were unable to find cases of voter fraud. There were a few cases here and there, of course. No system is perfect. But those were all cases of people illegally voting for Republicans, because duh. The sad thing is a lot of poor people do work two or three jobs. And registering to get an ID usually takes a full day. That's ok if you're doing well, but if you're poor, you can't afford to lose a day's pay. By the way, even though voter ID laws would be addressing a non-issue, I wouldn't be against them if it was done in a way that wasn't just trying to limit people from voting. If the government just sent every legal resident an ID in order to ensure voting security, I'd be fine with that. I'd be fine with requiring people to have their ID to vote. In theory, it's not a terrible idea. But the way it's being done is just a bad faith attempt at restricting voting, much like all of the other anti-democracy laws the Republicans are trying to do.
-
Do you have any examples of this? Any evidence that it's happening on a large scale? By who? Who says it's transphobic? It is objectively wrong, but it's not transphobic.
-
Yes, they check things like your address and phone number, though it depends on the state. Again, voter fraud is next to non-existent here. If it was an issue, don't you think Trump's lawyers would have found some cases while they were challenging the 2020 results? No, because you'd have to provide some evidence, such as your address, phone number, and birth date. And even then, some states don't allow that because you have to register with the actual polling station. You said twice that I was arguing that poor people are too stupid to get an ID even after I clarified that it had nothing to do with intelligence, it's purely about poor people having less time and money. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate it. You're showing the liberals here that fascists can't be reasoned with because they don't care about truth.
-
You have to register. You can't just walk into America and vote. That's why voter fraud is so rare here. You keep lying about me saying poor people are to dumb to vote, when I've explained this multiple times already. Conservatives have to strawman because they know they can't win on the actual points.

He lied about how we couldn't impeach Trump for the insurrection because it was "unconstitutional." I'm sure he's given lip service to how bad 1/6 was, but if he's going to defend the people who caused it, then I don't believe him. It would be like saying police brutality is bad, but then defending every cop who commits brutality. And Rand Paul also defended Trump during the first impeachment. The entire GOP has enabled Trump this entire time because they rather have a fascist in office than a liberal or a leftist.
-
Rand Paul?! He supported Trump's 1/6 insurrection! He claimed that the impeachment of Trump for trying to overturn democracy was unconstitutional. Rand Paul may be more libertarian on social issues, but he's been one of Trump's biggest enablers. As for Mike Pence, the only reason he did his job on 1/6 is because he knew there was no way to steal the election. Pence isn't a cartoonish buffoon like Trump and Giuliani. However, like all the other Republicans, he's enabled Trump's fascism leading up to 1/6. He defended Trump during the first impeachment in which he was caught trying to blackmail Ukraine into helping him cheat in the 2020 election. The fact that Pence isn't absolutely unhinged like most of the Right doesn't mean he's not anti-democracy. Even Republicans like Mitt Romney, who did vote against Trump in the impeachments, have not exactly been outspoken about all the voter restriction laws Republicans have been doing. I'm sure there are a minority of Republicans that are pro-democracy, though it seems like even those might just be against Trump, but still willing to cheat to win elections.
