Walz signed a law requiring schools to provide feminine hygiene products in public schools between grades 4 and 12. Full Stop. The law didn’t say how the sanitary products had to be distributed. It didn’t say they had to be in girls bathrooms, boys bathrooms, or any bathrooms. They could be given to teachers to distribute, or in the nurse’s office, or in the guidance counselor’s office. The law doesn’t say. Anyone who’s worked in a junior high can tell you that if a school is dumb enough to put tampons in a boy’s bathroom, they will wind up getting tossed into the toilets, where they’d cause overflows.
