  1. Because they were all killed or forced out. Israel has Jews, Christians, and Muslims. Why didn't they drive out all the Muslims? 100% There are various branches of Judaism. The Jewish taliban being one of them (Ultra-Orthodox). But unlike most other Arabs, the ones in Israel have a vote, and can run for office, and can appeal to an independent judiciary and a free press. They also serve in the military (though unlike Jews, they are not required to) and the police.
  2. Oh, look at the poor starving of Gaza! https://x.com/MarinaMedvin/status/1951607639768535236
  3. It seems I was wrong about there being starvation in Gaza! https://www.ynetnews.com/article/k026q2pa9#autoplay
  4. Uh-huh. Tell me, why is it that the people who stayed weren't harmed? 20% of the population of Israel proper are Arab. Can you tell me what percentage of the surrounding Arab countries are Jewish? Newly released UN report says that about 90% of the aid the UN delivered to Gaza never reached its destination The vast majority of humanitarian aid entering Gaza is intercepted before reaching its intended civilian recipients, newly released data from the United Nations shows, fueling growing concerns among Israeli officials and international observers about systemic aid diversion by armed groups in the enclave. https://www.algemeiner.com/2025/08/01/un-data-nearly-90-percent-gaza-aid-intercepted-before-reaching-intended-recipients/
  5. Why do you think every government around attacked them in 1948 and has shown nothing but relentless hostility towards Israel ever since?
  6. Canada is ... risk-averse. We want to make sure nothing goes wrong and nobody does anything bad. That means we have to supervise everything they do. That means more guidelines and more reports and more regulations, and more bureaucrats to oversee it all. Want to build an addition onto your home? Good luck with that! You'll have dozens of forms to fill out, multiple inspections over every aspect of your redesign (which you pay for) and every tiny thing will bring demands for refinements and changes. That's just for a person. You can only imagine the kinds of oversight large companies have for mines or major construction projects. It took about six months to approve the Trans Mountain pipeline in the 1950s, and 8 months to build it. Twinning it took years of paperwork, lawsuits, hearings, bribery, and then billions and billions to construct. That, in a nutshell, is what's wrong. We can't build anything. We can't get anything done without machetes to slash through reems of paperwork and red tape. All of which takes years and A LOT of money. Government is now big daddy, and it oversees every aspect of life and makes all decisions. Got a problem? Big Daddy will borrow a billion or two and help to deal with it (but not really). A quarter of employed Canadian adults now work in the public sector. Add in their families and you probably have 70% of Canadians getting their food and shelter through a government job. Which also means a lot of people have no interest in voting for a party that's likely going to be cutting government jobs. Which helps explain the success of the Liberals and NDP.
  7. The idea that Canada will be a leader in alternative energy is laughable. The technology has been developed and refined by mostly American and European entities for decades, by European countries willing to impoverish themselves and see their people freezing to death to get to net Zero. The manufacturing of all this stuff is massively cheaper in China than we could ever do it, so that leaves precious little for us to take leadership in. Too bad we didn't hire them to run Canada. We'd have millions fewer immigrants and refugees and thus way less crime, fewer people on welfare, and more money.
  8. The guy who made up Islam was a caravan hijacker, thief, and rapist who said God didn't care what you did to unbelievers. He plagiarized a bunch of stuff straight from the Old and New Testaments, then threw in a bunch of stuff God allegedly told him, and presto, you have a religion.
  9. What has this nonsense got to do with anything I wrote? I haven't seen any believable signs of children starving either. The only pictures shown turned out to be kids with diseases unrelated to malnutrition.
  10. There are lots of peaceful states in South and Central America, but people still head north through Mexico to the US. There are lots of peaceful states in Africa, but people still head north for Europe. And the middle east and places like Pakistan and Bangladesh? They have many peaceful areas. But they still cross the entire Middle East to come to Europe. Their culture and values create the misery they live in. It's why the third world is a shithole. And the more they come to the developed world, the more misery they bring with them because their culture and values of corruption, violence, and religious extremism come with them. It's interesting reading the British papers and media because they have the same problems we do with migrants and crappy laws, with crappy politicians, with housing and healthcare shortages and rising crime. The differences, though, is that their issues are more advanced, and that their government is more open with information. So we can see that massive numbers of newcomers, mostly Muslims, are on welfare and in public housing. That half the sex crimes come from migrants and immigrants, mostly Muslims. What percentage of migrants/refugees, immigrants and foreign workers/student workers commit crimes here? The government will never tell us that. How many sex crimes come from these people? We don't know. How many are on welfare? The government will never tell us that. How many are in public housing? That's not our business. What do I think will keep them out effectively? A rigid refugee and immigration system and detention camps that serve bread and water.
  11. I don't think you do either. When Jordan annexed the West Bank and made it part of Jordan, there was no big protest or fight from the locals. There were no terrorist incidents. The people in that region couldn't care less. They thought of themselves as Arabs, not Palestinians or Jordanians or whatever. What did it matter which dictator or king ruled over them? LIkewise, the locals didn't fight Egypt when it took control of Gaza. But Jews... that's more than they could stomach. Being under Jews? No way. They could be under any vicious dictator imaginable, but not under Jews. And that's why the endless fight against Israel. Not because they took anyone's land away, but because they're Jews.
  12. Hamas got elected on a promise of never-ending war with Israel and instituting an Islamic theocracy like Iran's. That's what people voted for. They have never wavered in that, either. And the reason the Palestinian Authority cancelled elections on the West Bank was that Hamas was going to win. The people in that region have been so indoctrinated and been subjected to such hatred for Israel and Jews practically since birth that no other possibility exists right now. Who cares? We're not in a world of laws anymore. We're in a world of strongmen where countries do what they have the power to do.
  13. How about video of lots of men in Gaza with their ribs showing through skeletal thin skin?
  14. The problem is if you are in Gaza you don't contradict Hamas. Or you die. If you are not in Gaza it's kind of hard to prove. And proving a negative is always hard. If there is mass starvation in Gaza, why aren't we seeing it in the hours of video Hamas/Iran pumps out every day? People die of malnutrition in Canada and the US, usually due to circumstances involving criminality. I'm saying we know what mass starvation looks like from all those videos from back in the day from Ethiopia, Somalia, etc. We know what it looks like from video of concentration camp surviors, from freed POWs after Japan surrendered. And we're seeing none of that from Gaza. Nor is this the first time we've heard famine claims. It was all over the news a year ago, only then the truce happened and we saw all those outside videos of well-fed Palestinians and the UN had to backtrack and admit there had never been a famine.
  15. Hey, shit-for-brains. It's your job to show it IS happening. Not ours to prove it isn't.
  16. What choice did Israel have? Seriously. And nobody should have created Jordan, Syria or Saudi Arabia. Anything more you want to complain about from the distant past? The only reason there are such problems around Israel is the massive, vicious religious bigotry and extremism of the Arabs who cannot stand the thought of a tiny state there not governed by Muslims.
  17. How many have starved so far? Oh? None? Oh, okay. Are you aware that the UN has been sounding the alarm for months now about the worst crisis of the 21st century, with a huge unhoused refugee population, starvation, mass rape, death, cholera etc? In Sudan? Probably not. No Jews there so who cares?
  18. You realize these 'journalists' are all Palestinians, right? That they are thus required to say whatever Hamas wants them to say? That so-called journalists in Gaza have turned out, as often as not, to e members of Hamas? They are Palestinians who report what news Hamas wants them to. Oh? You've been watching? Show us some videos or pictures, please. Well... you are.
  19. Right. Gaza has a very young population, and Hamas has been in charge of their school system for 18 years, which means all those young people have been indoctrinated by Hamas. Hatred of Jews is prevalent throughout the Muslim world. It's sky high in Gaza. Many Palestinian civilians took advantage of the holes in the fences on Oct 7 to cross into Israel to burn, loot, rape and kidnap. Iran thanks you for being a good follower of their propaganda.
  20. Here's your concentration camp before the war. Looks like pretty much every Arab city or town, and one hell of a lot better than a lot of what you'll see in Bangladesh, Pakistan or parts of Egypt, Nigeria or Brazil. What starving civilians? Hours and hours of video coming out of gaza every day and none of starving civilians. You know what starving people look like? https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/205087110
  21. This comment is simply ignorant. But it shows how successful Iran's propaganda campaign has been. By the way, the term 'zionist' is not a pejorative term, though the left and antisemites are trying to make it so. It just means those who support a homeland for Jews. Thus all Israelis are 'zionists'. Israel is attacked by Hamas, Hezbollah, and Yemen, all organized, funded, equipped and advised by Iran. And yet it's somehow Israel's fault for not dying quietly, for not being 'good victims'.
  22. You really are nothing more than a troll now. Is the UK America? Because they've absorbed it too. So has Australia. The Anglosphere is dominated by the super woke American entertainment industry. Can you believe it that the British museums and galleries are frantically 'decolonizing' their collections just like in the US?
  23. China was focused on bringing down the population with its one-child policy. But they have far more levers to change that. They are not going to vanish, and neither is Russia. Some will. Well, lately, your country has been run by crazy people and crooks and is rapidly turning into an oligarchy. Let me ask you what damage a couple of hundred JTF2 people in the US could do? Let's see, start by killing a few dozen Republican senators and congressmen. Their security details are nothing to special operators. Bingo, the Republicans lose their majority. Heck, special operators could probably take out Trump and Vance at the same time. But even exempting how easy American political leaders are to get at, there are pipelines and pumping stations, transmission towers and substations, highways and railroad bridges, power stations and dams. Imagine how many troops you'd need to guard them all and how much that would cost. Now imagine how long Americans would put up with it, especially when most wouldn't have agreed to an annexation of an unwilling Canada to begin with. I say this all as just theory. You're partly right in that Canadians might well be better off in the long run. God knows we've done an absolutely horrible job of governing ourselves over the past fifty years. And we currently have terrible government at every level. Mind you, so do you. The government in Canada, mass media, and academia have absorbed the US self-hatred infection and have become as woke and zealous and self-hating as yours. They've been preaching about what a miserable country this is and has always been for decades now. So why would anyone have pride in it? No, I'm blaming them for the laws they've written and the judges they've appointed.
  24. And who was it that put in place the laws that allow indigenous chiefs - ie, tiny, corrupt village mayors - to refuse pipelines that are in the national interest? Yup. The federal government.
