  1. In fact, the Judge said "“provided the terms of this Order are complied with, the defendants and other persons remain at liberty to engage in a peaceful, lawful and safe protest.”" Meaning, if they behaved, they can continue with the protest. Key words are "peaceful, lawful and safe". Nowhere did the judge say anything about the legality of the protest, only they can carry on "provided the terms of this order are complied with". https://thewashingtonstandard.com/freedom-convoy-truckers-were-right-judge-rules-protest-legal-city-of-ottawa-to-be-sued/?msclkid=861d9b5ad16511ecb625b2e88a84735c
  2. And to fire the Bank Of Canada Governor Tiff Macklem, blaming him for inflation?? And his shilling for crypto currency?? https://www.independent.co.uk/tech/terra-luna-ust-crypto-price-crash-b2076655.html Does Pierre have half a clue?? Methinks the Conservatives are in trouble... all the way.
  3. This guy knows what cards to play. With his backing of Trudeau, he knows he is holding a winning hand.
  4. I took nothing out of context. I initially respond to your posts when you said "In order for me to be able to go and visit my wife who now is living in a care home, and who now has dementia, I was forced to get fully vaccinated in order to go visit my sick wife" saying my Mother also had dementia and I could not visit her. I went on to say she had passed away. When you say "I don't believe any of that nonsense at all. You nor I know as to what you just said is true or not." You questioned my Mothers passing. And now you call me a liar! An a-hole is an a-hole and you are over qualified. .
  5. You had a choice and had to live with the consequences of it. I don't call myself anything and you, are just an asshole calling me a liar about my Mother passing. You have zero dignity and even less credibility!
  6. You asshole. It was my Mother and she died. Not of COVID but she passed away. Why would I lie? Don't need your BS about what I said, I know what happened. Some people stoop so low to cover their point it is embarrassing for them and you, stepped over the line!!!
  7. Yeah, perspective, ..... 206 out of tens of thousands and like I said, you do not know why or who just blowing a horn. Don't fall off your pedestal LOL
  8. Hey, working from home.... betcha many people do that except they are smart enough to turn off the sound LOL There are stupid peiople in every job.
  9. Did I or anyone say that? My response was to someone that wanted to know if 206 is a few and, it is, considering the scale of participation and people that donated (and they are not necessary the same). You have no idea who had their accounts frozen or for what reasons. Your reasoning is Orwellian (by the pure definition of the phrase).
  10. They are playing (sucking up) to the teachers unions which traditionally endorse NDP.
  11. No argument at all. A few, in this instance is 206, out of the many thousands or maybe even tens of thousands that that participated and/or donated to the 2 funds so yes, a few. Putin has nothing to do with this. You keep bringing up Putin and it is just plain stupid, pointless, showing single mindedness and it is more than getting old.
  12. Everybody needs to shit.
  13. Yup, only. Responded to the post "Yeah and even donors accounts were frozen. " and your statement "the bank accounts of dissidents were frozen by our fascist gov" Some of you guys make it sound like everyone at the protests had accounts frozen when in fact it was only a few. More likely more people got frozen noses than frozen accounts LOL
  14. Only 206 individual accounts were frozen.. https://globalnews.ca/news/8638430/unlikely-most-freedom-convoy-donors-assets-frozen/
  15. I am sure most developers are also significant (fill in any political party) donors. Businesses of all stripes donate to all political parties just to butter their bread. Lobbyists are also apolitical. Whomever sits on the throne gets visits from lobbyists. Even if not sitting on the throne, lobbyists are active to get anyone on their side to move whatever project they have forward. That is the entire reason for lobbying. For sure Ford has lobbyists, as did McGunty and Wynne and even Horwath gets funds and lobbying action (primarily unions ). As for land, most land is owned by private persons or businesses or developers.
  16. Yeah, some folks need to call names. Be it Fascist or Nazi or whatever. Seems it is their way of trying to be smart or superior. In Ontario you have Andera Horwath, a 5 time loser with a Bob Rae (liberal interim leader too) albatross around her neck and still peddling his philopsophy Steven Del Duca, the illegitimate (or maybe legitimate?) child of McGuinty and Wynne also still peddling their philosophy. Ford, former drug dealer (say some), former Mayor of the centre of the universe and present premier through the greatest worldwide pandemic in recent (if not all) history during 1/2 of his tenure Which one has the credibility to carry on? In my mind, Ford seems the illogical choice.
  17. Oh. How profound? Fascism : a way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government. Ford ??? NOT!! NDP? Very close Past Liberals? Definitely YES! LOL
  18. I actually thought that Maxime Bernier had promise and good ideas but when he lost the PC leadership he seemed to have gone off the rails. His platform says lot and all the right things but he personally just lost that leadership "look". It just feels like (to me) that he is going to break out and go whacko at any moment. Maybe just too bitter because of his PC leadership rejection?
  19. Staunch Libbies just as well as staunch conservatives and staunch NDPers play the game to the letter of the rules. Do you really think Harper, Mulroney, Layton, Mulcair (not including Singh yet because I think he is too stupid) all did not play the game? Each and every one had ethics issues and scandals. Politics just leads to ego feeding and abuse of power.
  20. I think the internal trouble with the CPC is putting doubt in many peoples minds. Is the CPC doing the leader selection behind closed doors? Is the direction of the CPC already a done deal behind those same closed doors? 6 announced nominees with 6 different agendas.
  21. Like all high level CEO's, leaders, managers etc, they have their staff do the nit noid details. Not excusing just saying their schedulers generally make their plans for them. If things get f'd up though, they have to take the responsibility.
  22. Both NDP and Liberals are promising everything. NDP always promises the world and Liberals, well, we know they do nothing but spend and give lifelong contracts to friends.
  23. "In a statement, Bourgault said he still believes he should have qualified but accepts the party’s decision as final “There were documents that were submitted by our team to the Conservative party in the last days of the campaign that they deemed incorrect and in violation of Elections Canada requirements,” Bourgault said, though he did not specify the violations. “These details were very minor and could have easily been corrected but there was no flexibility in their decision.” https://www.therecord.com/ts/politics/federal/2022/05/06/disqualified-conservative-leadership-candidates-say-they-wont-appeal.html?li_source=LI&li_medium=therecord_politics
  24. The NDP have had Andrea Horwath as leader since 2009. Almost voted out of existence and then got votes only because the Liberals lost so badly. Why? The Federal NDP leader loses twice and is ousted but Horwath just keeps on going like the energizer bunny LOL So far the Horwath and Liberal Del Duca are promising the most. Del Duca crapped on Ford for a buck a beer and now he is offering a buck a ride. I was not a Ford fan but, looking at his competition, I am not so sure he will not get back in.
  25. An opinion by a MP and not by lawyers, judges or the law. As I already said in my previous post they dropped it "because of a lack of clarity in federal rules that apply to accepting gifts. " Every MP of every party make complaints about someone but never have enough proof or evidence to follow through with real charges. More of a PR comment than substance to charge. Trudeau though was actually "convicted " on 2 of the 3 ethics violations he faced... but we still love him enough to vote him in (or we hate the others more than him :)) Having said that, It is a real piss off he got away with this little trip.
