  1. If you get everything you want, why take care of it as if it breaks or craps out you just get a new one. I have seen out of gas snow machines on the ice in Clyde RIver sink when the ice melts instead of filling them up and bringing them to shore.
  2. Better than you did LOL I shut you down in those 10 minutes LOL There is much more but, Canada does not seem interested and I agree. Imagine they spend billions of dollars on basically a commuter train for a few people. That would sure give you something to whine about. We do not do train travel in Canada (and when we do it is poor service and reliability). We move freight. https://www.klumpentown.com/article/via-reliability-2019-2020
  3. Being studied, not built, not even started, no bad weather, no plan, no action since 1992. Your excuses are stupid.
  4. Chuckle. But you always bring up someones wages. As well as their occupations. Makes you feel superior? Or Inferior? We are what we are and what we can or want to become.
  5. Yup it sure has been studied .....for many decades and here we are, still without as it does not make enough sense to do it. It has been on planning for just as long...and still nothing. A "study was initiated in 1992. The scope included "medium-fast" (200–250 km/h) and very fast (more than 300 km/h) technologies." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-speed_rail_in_Canada As far as I can see, only China has tinkered with a high speed freight train. And it does not carry oil or hazardous liquids. Bottom line with trains in Canada generally, they are not a reliable source of transportation. The Ottawa to Toronto one (which I have taken numerous times) rarely is on time. Totally unlike anything in Europe , which I have also taken many times. "High-Speed Rail Is One of Canada’s Biggest Failures" https://www.vice.com/en/article/zmep9e/high-speed-rail-is-one-of-canadas-biggest-failures Greenhouse gasses? Great deflection LOL. Oh and, not so "out of my depth".
  6. Word Force? Like "WORD Force: A Literacy Adventure for K-2 Students"? Have no clue what your definition is or is this another of your made up crap? Oh and some more idiotic analogies. Gotta give you credit, you are good at them LOL
  7. Of so, I have not read about any. If so betcha they all get thrown out.
  8. Huh? Train? Who cares about a high speed train except those between Toronto and Montreal and what good would high speed be if there will be 10 stops between the 2? LOL High speed trains work in other countries because they are commuter used. We use trains for freight, not exactly suited to high speed. Just imagine a high speed oil train through the Rockies or southern Ontario? Or a high speed grain train??? Always interesting how some people are obsessed whit the salaries of other people. Must be jealousy LOL
  9. My experience is that the machinery is constantly being "tuned "to what the public wants, that is why the Supply Manual alone is tens of thousands of pages and other process manuals for other departments are also voluminous. The constant 'fixing" created ominous and often unworkable processes.
  10. Firstly, there is no hatred. You snowflakes don't like being talked to with anything other agreeing with your opinions. Others may not think like you and they are equally as eligible to have an opinion I have, in all my years, made the observations that lead to my comments. I have travelled top to bottom and East to Wet in this country. In big cities, small towns, villages and reservations too. In this cancel and apologetic culture the thing to do is give and apologize and if the apology is not enough then give more. The indigenous of this country are full aware of this and take maximum advantage of it. They were conquered and thus they became the conquered. They know what this is all about because they themselves did this amongst and to other tribes for millennia before the "white man" even came to this continent. Are they paying reparations to the tribes they conquered, wiped out or enslaved? No? Then why not? The indigenous have done nothing except take. If you can show me other wise, please do. I am not talking about culture because dancing is only a tourist attraction. Same goes for the French in Quebec. They lost yet they are taking full advantage of the spoils of war except they were losers. Maybe back then it showed that Canadians felt sorry for losers too and gave them guaranteed privileges even though they lost. The Americans had it right, you lost so, you lose. Many lands, cultures, peoples, countries have lost wars throughout history, and they adapted, integrated and thrived. In Canada, we either have very weak peoples or or governments or both. To have 2 groups that were and are allowed to suck the teat in perpetuity is sad, very sad of those entire cultures. Quebec, well, 8.5 million people and all the industrial regional benefits that Quebec gets and they still remain a have not province? Gimme a break. Quebec has learned how to play the game just as the indigenous have. No hate. Those are observations I have made and my opinions about my observations.
  11. I certainly agree with this. I have worked in and around the government departmental bureaucracy. What I learned it is often not the actual politician bit his staff of green meanies. The ones they surround themselves with. These minions are often young staffers that believe they have "the power'. Unfortunately, the public servants are beholding to them for whatever they ask because they ask on behalf ot h e employer which is that politician.. The mudpuddle is more a tar pit because the rules and regulations they workers have to abide by in the chase of transparency gets bigger and bigger daily. There are lots of complaints about procurement and wastes of money. Look up Supply Manual in Canada and try to get your head around the thousands of pages of rules, and that is even before negotiators get to make more stipulations in the actual procurement contract. Point is the poor worker is bound by intense and idiotic rules to satisfy transparency and political will in all areas (of all parties because every newly elected party pisses on procedures like a dog on a hydrant to mark their territory)
  12. I keep hearing about companies and rich people hiding money off shore. Thing is, if they can do it, so can you. If Canada is so bad, why do so many foreigners invest in Canada? To the point we are looking at legislation to curtail it? In every election since I could vote (a long time LOL) every single party and politician has said they were going to cut taxes. Be it federal, provincial or municipal, none have ever kept that promise so, I think and so do politicians, we can pay more tax.
  13. What is it you do not understand about indigenous generational welfare? With few exceptions, the indigenous of this country have been given everything, from housing to facilitates to financial aid, not to speak of everything else that every Canadian gets. An entire society that lives off the backs of taxpayers.
  14. You have not once given a constitution violation or breach. Not one constitutional right has been breached. No one has been able to take it to court. You have though, repeated a bunch of BS notions.
  15. Telling you that you can do what you want and suffering the consequences is not advocating, it is stating a fact. Telling you to do what you want is not snotty, it is also a fact. I believe the 11 billion people in the world that have taken the vaccinations.
  16. Wow, you certainly babble a lot to disagree with me. Why? You are the one that likes to regurgitate the same old same old and trying to convince me that you are right. I really do not care. I proclaim nothing at all. I said, "it is what it is and it is not what you want or like. You will have to live the consequences of your actions just as I will with mine " That is not a proclamation, it is just telling you I do not care what you do and that I will do as I wish. You need to get over yourself and more importantly, you need to get over your obsession with what I think and do, It just seems to irritate the shit out of you that I do my thing and am not influenced by you. LOL
  17. I do not regurgitate, I do not advocate either. I just tell you to do what you want. You and your ilk are the ones regurgitating and advocating your beliefs and mantra and not getting the respect you think you deserve and you get mad at anyone that does not agree with you. . Keep it up, get in the penalty box and live like losers because it is what it is and it is not what you want or like. You will have to live the consequences of your actions just as I will with mine Like it or not
  18. Ouch...hurtful retort .... NOT. ya gotta get more creative with your insults my man LOL
  19. Man, you are so out to lunch. Do what you want....that is my message.
  20. Huh? Trucker convoy? Vaccinations and you come up with that?? Sounds tome like you lost the argument and deflect again <OL
  21. Everybody likes to jump on a bandwagon. When the local news (radio and tv) asked the latest rolling thunder protesters (rallyists?) and the other event (whatever that was) why they were there, there was not one intelligent response. One said freedom and when asked what freedoms he had no answer and told the reporter to (bleep) off LOL. One just said Trudeau has to go because he made everyone take shots. He was asked if he did and he said yes because Trudeau made him??? One guy told the reporter he came all the way form Saskatoon and nothing is happening so he wasted a trip LOL There were even a number that said they just wanted to see what was going on. So, in my mind, these "events" are happening just because. No cohesion, not real purpose anymore, just something to do. And no, I do not have any facetime or twitter videos and only relaying what I saw on my, yes, main stream media reports on the news.
  22. They are not stupid questions when those being asked can never respond intelligently and with real answers as opposed to claiming it being a stupid question. I am here playing devils advocate to the doom and gloomers such as yourself. I bring insight and value and sometimes alternative and sometimes opposite points of view which should encourage discussion but instead, enrages single minded folks like you when someone disagrees with your point of view.
  23. Your arguments are out. If you want to work , then do so. if you do not want to comply with an employers requirements then don't. Guess what? It's your choice.
  24. What human rights are you protecting?
  25. God given??? Nice try LOL
