What human rights are you protecting?
-
God given??? Nice try LOL
-
Your choice of jobs and the employers choice of employees. There is no personal right that you are owed or deserve a job. So, thats out There is no personal right for you to get on a planes or trains so, that's out too. The hospitals mandate is to protect its patients and if you are considered a risk, so be it. There is no personal right that you must be able to enter a health facility for a visit. What exactly do you think you are actually entitled you or are you one of those millennials that think you are entitled to everything?? Try again dude, you lost no personal rights that yu had before covid.
-
Man, you are one sad example of a human.
-
Reality? I see reality. Tell me exactly what personal rights have you lost??? Go for it. Tell me LOL
-
Great news. Then why keep commenting on my choices? I will take as many vaccination shots as they give. My choice, just as it is your choice not to. Why do you care so much? Or maybe I should thank you for being concerned about me LOL As I have said, you have all the personal rights you had before covid. You seem to be totally ignorant about that. Oh, c'mon, you do care. Otherwise you would not keep telling me all these things. Thank you for all your concern.
-
I have no position other than being an adult making adult decisions about my safety and life. Interesting to me why so many here are pissed and upset about my choices. I could not really care less about your choices, why do you care about mine? You are not better nor smarter than me.
-
I also could not see my Mother who also had dementia but, she fortunately lived through covid in her LTC. Yes. The restrictions imposed by the LTC or hospital was to protect everyone in the home and the staff as best they could. Imagine how much you would be screaming if she had caught covid and passed a because someone came in with covid and infected everyone? Maybe you should be grateful your wife is alive because someone cared enough about her safety?

They did it for their own business reasons. My testicles? You have the worst analogy's on this forum. Constantly reiterating stupidity with them. LOL I have in no way told people what to do.... ever. Always just said it is your choice for your reasons. As for the vax working, well, "More than 5.15 billion people worldwide have received a dose of a Covid-19 vaccine" so either you are the only smart one in the world and there are 5.15 billion people in the world that are stupider than you or something is working?

Conservative Leadership September 10th
ExFlyer replied to Jack9000's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The problem here is the conservatives themselves. They have become splintered. Social conservatives are not the same group as fiscal conservatives or gun toting conservatives of pro life conservatives just plain conservatives let alone the PPC group. They cannot seem to find a leader to please themselves. Harper, Scheer, O'foole and now looking for a new one (with the exception of the ones the leadership group does not like). I am not a liberal by any stretch of the imagination but trying to be a conservative seems like a difficult chore nowadays. -
Why her and not the guy rotting in jail for freedom since March???
-
Yup, don't fit your narrative so I am lost. Sorry buddy, you are the one that is a bit on the lost side. Not a denier and never have been but am certainly on the realist and common sense side. Yes, many Canadians, actually most Canadians agree with me. A few not so tolerant and stubborn ones do not. So be it. You and they have a constitutional right to be wrong Oh and not a liberal in any way, shape or form, just a realist.
-
Democracy, as the definition states is "rule of the majority" As for breach of the constitution, No breach has happened. If you are so sure, prove it. (not just an opinion or baseless banter, actually prove it. You cannot and no court action against a breach of the constitution is in effect. Everything else of your diatribe is a deflection to try to justify your false understanding.

US Supreme Court strikes down Roe V. Wade
ExFlyer replied to West's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Supreme court appointments made on political beliefs is problematic, in Canada too. -
Just in case you need help with meanings of the words you use so you can use them properly and effectively. "What is a simple definition of democracy? 1a : government by the people especially : rule of the majority. b : a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections.

Not a whimper, they asked the city what the cost was and the city responded. Yeah, thank the trucker occupation of downtown Ottawa for that.
-
Pontificate? Thanks for the compliment Those that chose to get vaccinated to "save" their jobs did so because their employer was taking care of the health of all their employees, not just a selected few. Democracy means majority rules. There will always be dissenters and that is fine. Glad you are happy with your choice and so it should be. I am happy with my choice to but, to be besmirched for my choice and my opinion is a sign of very petty and intolerant people.
-
Absolutely the worst analogy I have ever read. Stooping so low becomes you
-
So you chose not to get the vaccination. People made decisions and the consequences thereof. It is not me that is playing stupid, it is those that do not understand they are in control of their own life and decisions. Be an adult and accept the decision you made.
-
On the contrary. What I do think is adults should be capable of making adult decisions. Organizations/companies/employers also make decisions that are best for them. Is the decision an inconvenience? Yes. Will the decision upset some people? Yes. Are all decisions equal? No they are not. Are worldwide pandemics normal? No. Were countries/provinces/municipalities/companies/organizations prepared for worldwide pandemic? No, not even a little bit. Did they make mistakes? For sure they did. I am just not all doom and gloom as some here are.
-
The hospital and the LTC locked themselves down. Could've, would've, should've all assumptions. The blame is the public health directives from the various institutions.
-
No one forced you to take anything. It was your choice and the consequences of your choice thereafter. Stop whining, you chose.

Capital Gains Tax on Primary Residences
ExFlyer replied to ExFlyer's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
How naive are you? Show me a politician or party, federal, provincial, municipal that does not promise tax cuts prior to every election and then raises them once elected?? -
Totally up to you. You don't like mine ...OK. I don't like yours....OK too. Bureaucrats don't have opinions, they have legislation, regulations, rules, directives and orders. They back up with those legislations, regulations , rules, directiuves and orders.
-
Yup. I have expressed my opinion. It is an opinion and I don't have to defend it. Don't need to add any more. You are to one that keeps trying to force your opinion upon me, repeatedly. I am not an agnotology student but some of your (and those of some others) posts really baffle me.
