See what I mean? I call you out. I ask you, like I ask everyone, to prove themselves and you just come back with unsubstantiated accusations. Sometimes (often) the message is the messenger and vice versa. Of course, you will get stroked by a few others like you but hey, that bothers me naught. What is simple is that some of you do not like to be challenged and that pisses you off and away you go with accusations. It's OK, you old timers (veterans, long timers, thousands of posts guys) here are getting challenged more and more and your rule of kingdom is upset. People that do not agree with you are then called names, accused of attacks and ganged up on.

Look back. Show me name calling. I will show you retaliation but like I said, I looked back and did not find a post where I called anyone a name. I did have posts where I called out someone, to make them prove their claims and statements and comments and that is when they got pissed off. Just like you, making shit up to try and prove a non existent action. If and only if, someone called me a name would I respond. Like WestConMan said "Your post was skewered, now you're gonna get a spanking from the mods for your childish name-calling.". Well, nothing skewered and no spanking. Is he trying to get something done??? Some of you guys just don't like it when you have your feet held to the fire. You don't like having to prove your blather. You get all defensive and change subject or just don;t respond when called out.
-
Yup. I looked back more than 15 pages and the only thing I said was WestConMan was a "one trick pony." No name calling. I mean, he hurt my feeling when he called me a "poopyhead" but I never responded. I think that when someone gets proven wrong, or not factual or misguided, they assume they are being called names. But generally, I will respond in kind. I serve what I get from the pot..

I guess you can ask the same thing of Trump? Is Trump responsible for the actions of some on 6 Jan?? Seems more and more likely that the hearings are determining that Trump had a major roll in the 6 Jan events. I don't know if the police are or did go after the people making the threats but, were they incited by someone? "Leftist lies that led to mass violence in 2020"? Can you elaborate please?
-
skewered?? It is there. Name calling? I think you got that mixed up. It comes from you, not me. Name calling is your last resort when you lose the argument. Oh and, you are back again LOL Same old same old is all on you.

Yes, I asked why Griner was getting the news and public and government attention but not the ex marine also being held, nothing about right or wrong Not asking you to defend anything, just saying why one millionaire basketball player and not the ex marine. The easy answer is celebrity wins out

Aaaaand, he's baaaack LOL WestCanPoopyMan with more blather to justify his nonsense posts.

Hasten registration of foreign trained medical professionals
ExFlyer replied to myata's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I read it too but I am suspicious becasue I think it was the nurses union or association that said it and the motives are to embarrass government as opposed fact. 19,000 unapproved foreign medical professionals in Ontario alone seems like a huge number Oh and, your link for allowing 30 day licences is over 2 years old. Do we know if it even happened?? -
Hey, you are describing Ottawa, not Toronto I think it occurs because exurbanites are less apt to confront and publicly speak their minds less they get called out.
-
For sure city and country folks have different perspectives. Primarily as a result of their daily environment. Not so sure that acquiescence is easier in a city, it is perhaps that vibrancy of the city is more immediate?

What a chunk of nonsensical blather. The problem is with people like you that fully accept snippets without knowing the full story as long as it fits your ideals.. You are yesterdays news, old, stale and no longer relevant. No matter how much you try or how long the blather, it is still old and useless. Not intended to be an insult in any way. Just take it for what it is, you are obsessed with old useless crap that has no more relevance.. But all in all, still very happy you care so much about what I think to keep responding. So touching that you care

And that information comes from where?? You cannot squeeze blood out of a stone but, I think with the judgment against him, he is still labile and must keep paying. "Jones claimed during the trial that any penalty of more than $2 million would "sink" his media outlet Infowars." So, does his misinformation network go down?? Alex Jones moved money into shell company after being held liable in court case https://www.msn.com/en-ca/money/other/alex-jones-moved-money-into-shell-company-after-being-held-liable-in-court-case/ar-AA10m40a?ocid=windirect&cvid=92737e13257a4b22a28b3b2f1a813ce5

The 21 year old went to court to stop the constant noismaking in the area she lived. Trudeau did not live there and had no grounds for court action.

Me too. I sympathized with the truckers. If only the debacle in February were truckers, it would have been a purposeful event. Fact was, the truckers association detached themselves form what went on. 95% of truckers 9as was state din the news) were working and did not participate. No one seized any property. Vehicles were towed. they were given 24 hours warnings and many moved the vehicles, those that did not had them towed under existing laws and bylaws. Banks froze some accounts by their own volition and doing so to prevent what they considered may be government actions, which did not occur. So, the banks restored the accounts.

Hasten registration of foreign trained medical professionals

Schools are not a snap of the finger event. It takes years to build a school, let alone a medical school and then staffing with qualified professionals. All distant future events. It takes 4 years to build a nurse. A very busy and hard 4 years. My daughter went thorough that. About 1/2 of her original class graduated. Some say as few as 1/3 make it to the end. Ontario has already given free tuition for nurses and PSW's. Old men like me also remember that we did not go to the hospital ER for cut fingers, ankle sprains, ear infections or headaches. Here in Ottawa, a 12 hour waiting list in ER because triage bumps real emergencies over those minor aches and pains. -

You are so right. In my career, when in the Yukon or NWT, Labrador or anywhere up North on SAR ops, CBC was the only TV and radio. You forget the great Canadian cultural icons like Peter Gzowski, Pierre Berton, Peter Mansbridge LOL -

Having hospitals authorize and certify medical staff would be very ominous and, I think, impossible. They don't have staff to do regular work let alone adding an on the job training burden.. Very stringent standards and procedures and processes would have to be set up to ensure all hospitals in the province (country) have the same procedures. This would be a nightmare as each province now has different standards. (My daughter graduated U of O in Ontario, had exams for Ontario licence and moved to BC and had to re-write exams and still could not do as much in BC as she was doing in Ontario and now is in NWT which is completely different too). Ontario is providing free tuition for nurses and PSW's. Schools are full. The problem is that only about 1/2 graduate (some reports say as few as 1/3) the 4 year nurses program. Nurses, in Ontario have been losing staff for a decade. https://rnao.ca/sites/rnao-ca/files/RNAO_RN_NP_HR_Backgrounder.pdf I would like to know where that 15,000 foreign medical people comes from. So, more money and they would all come back?? Justin does not have health care authority. that is provincial. Conscription in Canada? Pie in the sky at best. There is no way that would even be considered in Canada. -
WTF is a mad cow besides a pissed off bovine?? LOL
-
Ya mean city dwellers care less than country folk??
-
Oh, you say insult and I say calling them as I see them. So, you don't like what I have to say but your insults and demeaning posts are OK??? Or are you just calling them as you see them?

I certainly do not speak for everyone but, this forum is not my world either as it seem to be for a dozen or so of you I do not think you are aware of the ecological bun fights in Netherlands and Germany, otherwise you would not try to make comparisons with it. I am on this thread to step on incorrect claims and statements and to piss of the belibers Otherwise the thread would be nothing but butt stroking of each other Never been contrary for contrary sake, just keeping your claims in scale. making incorrect statements is a forte of yours and a few others. I only look foolish to those I call out and prove wrong.
-
Actually, apathy towards this issue is exactly that, "lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern." by most of the world except for a marginal few here on this forum.
-
400 pages on this forum. The rest of the country and world cares very little. They care even less about a trucker debacle in Ottawa. It is frgotten by all except for a dozen or so on this forum. The farmers issues in Netherlands is completely different. It is the government imposing restrictions on fertilizers and cow shit to save their ecologically damaged waterways.
