  1. You can take issue if you wish and I am also disgusted by the release but, it was a parole board that, for whatever reasons that were presented to them gave the parole. They gave parole to Homolka years ago and the other half of that duo still sits in jail. Its OK for him to be in jail but Homolka should be as well. As for printing money??? I am not sure tof he relationship to the guy getting parole?
  2. At one time when pot was laced with meth, PCP, Ketamine, even heroin among other things, yes.
  3. 442 Sqn Comox. Picked up a number of injured loggers from Tahsis, Gold River, Port Alberni and other areas and flew them to Comox hospital. That and fishermen in the inside straits as well as medivacs from the numerous little islands around Vancouver Island and, searches for downed aircraft throughout BC and Yukon. Usage of local ground search teams and local people was and still is an important part of SAR. Doubt if you wish but I know what I did..
  4. 442 Sqn Comox. 413 Sqn Summerside. 103 Sqn Gander, 440 Sqn Edmont. LCMM SAR Fixed Wing. Maint manager SAR Helicopter. New SAR Helicopter procurement program from spec writing to delivery. Retire. Contact manager for SAR helicopter maintenance. Sea King replacement project Cancer. Quit working. Yes, there are dickheads in the Military, many are in the news nowadays. Many in Army leadership, including from infantry..
  5. Never once said I was a SAR Tech. You are mistaken again. I am also very impressed with every SAR Tech I have ever worked with. Not sure where you would have encountered any SAR Techs. I know a lot of SAR Techs came from the Infantry world. Used to be only Safety Systems techs were remustered into SAR Tech but they opened it up and many combat arms folks came in and have done spectacular work.
  6. Never once claimed to be a soldier. I did my time service Canadians in search and rescue.
  7. Nope. just stating a fact. All I am saying is he was a part time soldier. Responded to his statements " : "but there's nothing in Petawawa for me to connect with what am I gonna do, drive all the way to Pet to hang out at the Kyrenia Club ? there's so much turnover, it's such a vast bureaucracy, I have no emotional connection to the regular force / DND"
  8. Most honest thing said of the protest so far.
  9. Fine. But never became a real full time regular force soldier.
  10. All I am saying is you were apart time soldier. No need to make excuses or justify. You may not have any "emotional connection" yet, without them, there would be no need for you as a part time soldier to supplement them when the real soldiers go on vacation.
  11. I agree with your sentiment about that case but, it was not a judge that let the guy out. It was the parole people. Different group.
  12. All Part time soldiers.
  13. A reservist??: Not even regular force military?? A part time soldier. Weekend warrior?? So much blather from a part timer? LOL
  14. So you are insinuating government sells drugs like they do liquor? Did government cannabis stores shut down the illicit pot dealers?
  15. Whatever is in your mind is not leaking out into your posts. LOL SNC? Fixing for a generation? 5 shutdowns where? And each jurisdiction controlled it differently based on the spread and situation in that area. Ritual times?? Democracy = a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.
  16. Yup but, she still spent a week or 2 in jail. Sucks to be her
  17. Well, she spent a week or two in jail because of what she did. Can't get that time back LOL
  18. I am quite sure she was not jailed for organizing the protest. As I said to you before "being in jail does not make you guilty, it just makes you stupid enough to do something that put you there for a while. "
  19. or you get a justice of the peace that cares so much it does not matter is you break it by one inch or one mile. or you get a judges that sees it differently, makes no matter to me there either. Nope, being in jail does not make you guilty, it just makes you stupid enough to do something that put you there for a while.
  20. Look, I told you I really do not care. Fact is, she breached the conditions of bail Be it ian inch or a mile. It was done. Your obsessions take weird turns, now it is a justice of peace in your sights LOL
  21. Yes we "choose" A democracy is not singular, cannot be. It is everyone.
  22. For sure. A poor lawyer is a bad lawyer LOL (and they are all lawyers)
  23. Well, it was never "our" system. It is the legal system and unfortunately it can never be clear and concise enough to prevent it from being manipulated by anyone, layers and prosecutors an judges alike. It has become so overly complicated and openly criticized. That is why there are so many levels and appeal opportunities. That is why it takes 10 years to deport a convicted criminal. That is why it costs a fortune just to get off simple charges.
  24. OK, be disgusted. Facts are, she was in jail because she could not come up with bail. Then when someone coughed up her bail, she could not find a lawyer. When she got super lawyer Greenspon, she breached her bail restrictions and even her super lawyer could not get her out for a while. Who cares how old she is and that she is a grandmother? She can be as stupid as anyone else. The justice of the peace (as opposed to the prosecutor) is a red herring. Who cares except you protesters. Bottom line dude, you fcuk with the system and the system will fcuk with you.
