Canada's high level of immigration.
ExFlyer replied to CITIZEN_2015's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Actually, being from Vancouver, Richmond has been that way for many many decades. Canadians can do and live wherever they wish. If they choose Richmond or Brampton, so be it. Top 10 Countries with the Highest Number of Foreign-Born Residents (Immigrants) - United Nations 2020: United States — 50.6 million. Germany — 15.8 million. Saudi Arabia — 13.5 million. Russia — 11.6 million. United Kingdom — 9.4 million. United Arab Emirates — 8.7 million. France — 8.5 million. Canada — 8.0 million. https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/immigration-by-count -
Canada's high level of immigration.

I answered your questions with a valid response. Have you ever been to Richmond BC? I can assure you there is no French/English signs. Point is, there are many districts all over Canada when immigrants have gathered and settled, for decades. Art, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder. So bringing in Syrians, Chinese, Eastern European immigrants, Africans are all to please Quebecers? -

Every Chinatown in almost every city. Richmond BC is for sure China LOL Every Italian districts in almost every city. Every Greek area in almost every city. And so on. Point is, every city has areas that resemble other parts of the world. A valid question, what is "Canada's own homegrown culture" in your opinion? -
Ha Ha Ha now you are calling AI, artificial intelligence, a robot, full of BS because it sees through your donkey dung?? LOL LOL You are so funny!!! I have no link, I told you, I just googled AI and took the first one. Sucks to be called out by AI eh?? LOL You are such a monumental loser that you actually are picking a fight with AI. LOL Artificial Intelligence robot calls you out and you argue with it?? I never said anything. OMG, how much more of a loser can you actually be, arguing with AI.... Ha Ha Ha.

Depends on what side you are on and what cycle Canadian politics are in. CBC praised Harper too. CBC had good things to say about him and his choices for cabinet even though they were screwing things up, leaving secret files at girlfriends homes, taking housing funding even thought hey lived in Ottawa and so on.

I understand that you have expressed frustration with what you perceive as dishonesty and a lack of willingness to negotiate or address corruption among individuals who you seem to claim to think as left-leaning. It is important to approach political discussions with an open mind and a commitment to understanding different perspectives which you are incapable of. While it is true that some individuals may prioritize their political goals over addressing corruption as you do, it is not accurate to generalize this behavior to all left-leaning individuals. Political ideologies are complex and diverse, encompassing a wide range of beliefs and values. It is essential to recognize that people's motivations and priorities can vary significantly within any political group. While there may be instances where individuals on the left or any other political spectrum tolerate corruption, it is not fair to assume that this applies universally. Negotiation and the pursuit of solutions require open dialogue, empathy, and a willingness to find common ground. It is crucial to engage in respectful conversations, again, which you seem incapable of, that focus on the issues at hand rather than making broad generalizations about entire groups of people. By fostering understanding and seeking common goals, it is possible to bridge ideological divides and work towards positive change. In conclusion, it is important to approach political discussions with an open mind and avoid making sweeping generalizations about any group of people based on the actions or beliefs of a few individuals. Engaging in respectful dialogue and seeking common ground can lead to more productive conversations and potential solutions. EDIT: This response is from AI. canfux post was fed to AI for it to give comment and it did. canfux will not like it but it looks at what canfux wrote and gave an AI response. Seems AI recognized canfux as the BS artist he/she/it is.

Easy now. This is a discussion.. I made a viable comment. If rules are not used by one side, the the rules are useless. The Geneva convention is being broken with every war by one side or the other. Don't be naive. If there was no assholiness, then there would be no war .
-
War is war. If there are going to be rules, then everyone must abide. If one party does not abide then all is open.
-
Nope, posted in reply to your stupidity, not after. No edit. (that was an edit to add no edit LOL) Where and when did I say "after the 70's:? Go ahead, show us LOL Actually it is you that is looking stupid by making BS accusation.

You can get over it...try harder and maybe you can be a better girl

"$1 in 1970 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $7.44 today, an increase of $6.44 over 53 years. The dollar had an average inflation rate of 3.86% per year between 1970 and today, producing a cumulative price increase of 644.35%." https://www.officialdata.org/canada/inflation/1970?amount=1 You off meds again???

I meant "and obfuscate".... sorry. But yeah, you are right. They seem to want to blame inflation on one individual as to truly understanding the mechanics of inflation and how world economics affects our inflation. They do not understand we are importers and if the price goes up, it is the exporters that cause that. They don;t understand the we import 90% of our annual produce and if it cost more to grow in California, Mexico, South America, it is not us that drive the prices up but the growers and exporters. They don't understand that we do not produce enough oil to make gas and we import most of the oil. Their Conservative God, Harper had economic crisis too but hey, we have tio forget that LOL https://policyoptions.irpp.org/magazines/october-2016/economic-performance-and-policy-during-the-harper-years/
-
If they can actually find something to substantiate and back up their BS rather than obfuscate.LOL
-
