How about going the other way? We would never be allowed to purchase a company in China. This deal goes against what Harper tries to sell himself as. I'm sure there is some royalty will be collected. It just won't be by the Canadian public.

Well said.

First you cry about the Mufti and terrorism while trying to minimize the history of Jewish terrorism which included two of Israel's former prime ministers. Now you are trying to sell to everyone that indoctrination of war and guns only happens with the Arabs. How does it feel to be such a hypocrite douche? A few example of Jewish kids and the indoctrination.

Minor details that DogOnPorch doesn't like to talk about much. Especially since it makes his Mufti syndrome sound quite hypocritical.

Show me where you asked me to remove and I refused and tried to justify keeping it up. I will make it a point to remind you to remove posts that are false and inaccurate from now on.

Why not take the side of international law and justice? Which is what Finland (and Canada) officially stand for.

I had absolutely no problem acknowledging that one of the photos posted was recycled from another war. For me, the truth is important. The photo was not removed because I didn't think about removing it. That was the only reason. You could have at least mentioned something about removing it from the original post if you noticed this. I will remove it now. ref: http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index.php?showtopic=21876&st=0 From now on whenever it is proven that you have made a mistake or have posted something incorrect, I would appreciate if you would do the same thing and remove and correct the post where the mistake was made.

Guess what. They all made a mistake and accepted that they made a mistake. It was also the same nations who finally turned their backs to South Africa, after the people around the world could no longer stay silent. Canada ended up being one of the key players that finally ended the Apartheid regime. Same thing will happen with Israel. However, I doubt Canada will have a role in that with the current government.

What? That makes no sense. Not sure how a few comments have automatically turned the video (that was not posted by me) into a lie. There have been comments from all angles about the video. Again, I would never post anything that I would think is a lie. I also do not think the video in the original post is a lie and no one has proved that it is a lie. One more such accusation from you, and I will be reporting you to the administrator. It's not my opinion that CAMERA has been caught trying to lie and deceit people. I posted a link about CAMERA's deceitful efforts in trying to change Wikipedia entries. It's not an opinion of mine, but a fact. You need to deal with the fact that you post from an organization that uses such ugly, deceitful tactics in order to push an agenda. You need to understand that repeatedly posting from CAMERA reflects on who you are.
-
I have never knowingly posted anything that I knew was incorrect. You are not telling the truth. How many times did you think you could post things from CAMERA, a well-known special interest group which has been caught with its pants down, before someone was going to call you on it?

Opinion by CAMERA.org is an opinion by CAMERA.org. What they say does not diminish the work by Jewish Voice for Peace. CAMERA is an organization that does whatever it takes, including lie and deceit in order to influence the public's opinion of Israel. For example, creating a campaign to infiltrate Wikipedia to change information. More on CAMERA's campaign on Wikipedia: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/04/29/wikipedia_blocked_doj_ip/

Israeli Settlement in East Jerusalem
Hudson Jones replied to cybercoma's topic in The Rest of the World
Most people do not like bullies and if their government is enabling the bully to continue what it's doing, by financial and political incentives, it's no surprise it will receive attention. Not that it's not receiving attention, but the U.S. is not enabling or making excuses for the Syrian government or some african governments. More and more people are realizing the extremely biased and unfair stance of U.S. in regards to Israel and so it is finally receiving the attention it deserves. -
UN calls on Israel to open nuclear facilities
Hudson Jones replied to Hudson Jones's topic in The Rest of the World
So then if Iran pulls out of the NPT, it would be cool for everyone that Iran begins a nuclear weapons program like the above? -
The resistance is that Israel would be treated like everyone else.

UN calls on Israel to open nuclear facilities

Are there Iranian versions of you who exist? Perhaps North Korean? Maybe Russians? -
Sounds like a legitimate expectation. UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The U.N. General Assembly overwhelmingly approved a resolution Monday calling on Israel to quickly open its nuclear program for inspection and backing a high-level conference to ban nuclear weapons from the Middle East which was just canceled The resolution, approved by a vote of 174-6 with 6 abstentions, calls on Israel to join the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty "without further delay" and open its nuclear facilities to inspection by the International Atomic Energy Agency. Those voting "no" were Israel, the U.S., Canada, Marshall Islands, Micronesia and Palau. Resolutions adopted by the 193-member General Assembly are not legally binding but they do reflect world opinion and carry moral and political weight. link

There is no apparent resolution of the Israeli situation
Hudson Jones replied to a topic in The Rest of the World
This would be a good move by Britain and France: For first time, Britain, France may recall ambassadors in protest at Israel's settlement construction Moves against Israel will be made in next the few days following Netanyahu’s decision to move ahead on construction in E1 and build 3,000 housing units in settlement blocs east of Jerusalem, say senior European diplomats. http://www.haaretz.c...remium-1.481963 -
There is no apparent resolution of the Israeli situation

It's this arrogance that will eventually sideline Israel. The recent overwhelming support for the Palestinian state around the world is a sign of things to come. The Palestinians will have a state and all Israel can do is to slow the process to the inevitable. -

Suddenly offended despite their views on Quebec and Quebec politicians. The selective sensitivity runs rampage. -
Likud Party Platform from the 15th Knesset Self-Rule The Government of Israel flatly rejects the establishment of a Palestinian Arab state west of the Jordan river. The Palestinians can run their lives freely in the framework of self-rule, but not as an independent and sovereign state. Thus, for example, in matters of foreign affairs, security, immigration and ecology, their activity shall be limited in accordance with imperatives of Israel's existence, security and national needs. Really Bonam? Israel moves to build 3,000 new settlement homes JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel responded swiftly Friday to U.N. recognition of a Palestinian state, revealing it will build 3,000 more homes for Jews on Israeli-occupied lands that the world body overwhelmingly said belong to the Palestinians. The plans also include future construction in a strategic area of the West Bank where critics have long warned that Jewish settlements would kill hopes for a viable Palestinian state. Israel's moves served as a harsh reminder to Palestinians — euphoric over the U.N. upgrade — that while they now have a state on paper, most of it remains very much under Israeli control. "This is a doomsday scenario," Daniel Seidemann of Ir Amim, a group that promotes coexistence in Jerusalem, said of the building plans. Israel's decision was bound to embarrass the United States, which was among just nine countries in the 193-member General Assembly to vote against accepting Palestine as a nonmember observer state. Israel to build 3,000 settler homes after UN vote Israel has authorised the construction of 3,000 more housing units in occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank, according to Israeli officials. It is also speeding up the processing of 1,000 planning permissions. The Palestinian Authority has said it will not return to peace talks without a freeze in settlement building. The decision comes a day after a vote at the UN General Assembly upgraded the Palestinians' status at the UN to that of non-member observer state. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-20552391
