  1. Auschwitz was not bombed.
  2. The IDF will not invade Gaza. Bibi would not risk losing soldiers and losing the election.
  3. Less than a year after US condemned Russia for blocking UNSC action on Syria, Obama blocks UNSC statement on Gaza U.S. blocks U.N. Security Council action Israel, Gaza conflict The United States blocked on Tuesday a U.N. Security Council statement condemning the escalating conflict between Israel and the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, setting the scene for a possible showdown between Washington and Russia on the issue. Israel is to the U.S. as Syria is to Russia.
  4. Collection of bodies in Gaza
  5. If they had HGTV back in the 1940's, I'm sure no one would have wanted to find their dream home in Auschwitz either!
  6. I don't know. Why didn't the Jews have any jets and tanks when the Nazis were killing them?
  7. Hamas' idea of justice resembles Israel's. Instead of killing these people without trials and dragging their dead bodies from motorbikes, they should do what Israel does, then maybe you'd e okay with it? They should skip over trials and due process and instead, assassinate people from drones and airplanes and then shrug after killing a few children on the side. Oh wait - Hamas doesn't have jets, drones, tanks and helicopters to do that. Hamas sure is barbaric as compared to the Israeli government.
  8. It's too bad that you think the unavoidable killing of 100+ civilians is not worthy of our attention. What is happening in Syria is horrific. What is different is that Canada, U.S. and the rest of the Western governments do not support what Assad is doing, while they are justifying Israeli actions. Why should Israel receive impunity?
  9. Any act that goes against international law, including using people as human shields should be condemned. Whether it's done by Hamas or it's done by Israel. By the way, taking the words of the IDF that the only reason civilians are being killed because Hamas is hiding behind them turned out to be mostly wrong the last time the IDF attacked Gaza. In fact, after a thorough investigation into use of human shields in the last Gaza war, it was revealed that the IDF used Palestinians as human shields on a number of occasions. The use of human shields is restricted as according to international law and Israeli law, yet the IDF did it several times during the last war. Goldstone Report - Page 218+ (Us of Human Shield) The next time an IDF spokesman or the people who parrot them say something, I'd recommend doing a little investigation. They have a history of repeating misinformation. They repeat them so much that people take them to be as fact, when in many cases, after doing a little investigation, it is revealed that they're trying to spread false information. For example; In the latest attack on Gaza, it is often repeated that Hamas escalated the conflict by firing a barrage of rockets into Israel. One look at the timeline says otherwise. There are still people like American Woman who are unwilling to accept the truth, but you will run into people like that because they're not interested in the facts. They're only interested in pushing the narrative that the IDF and its PR campaign is pushing.
  10. Because somehow dropping bombs from airplanes and missiles shot from warships on homes where people are killed are less barbaric. And the assassinations carried out by Israel are definitely not against the law and should be looked at as acceptable.
  11. You have the information. The information is loud and clear. Now it looks like you're reaching, because you're not willing to accept the facts since they ruin your narrative. The negotiator in the Galit release case who was in the middle of the truce deal is saying that Hamas and Israel had reached an agreement for a truce but israel decided to assassinate the Hamas man who was responsible for signing off such deals.
  12. Unfortunately, it is. So is this:
  13. I gave you a link that tells you about it. Here is a link to an interview with Gershon Baskin, who also helped mediate talks between Israel and Hamas in the deal to release Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. GERSHON BASKIN: Well, Jabari, as the leader of the military wing of Hamas, Izz al-Din al-Qassam, was the person who was called on by the Egyptians and by his own leaders to enforce previous ceasefire understandings that were reached between Israel and Hamas after each round of rocket fire emerged over the past years. With the increasing intensity of the rocket fire and the shortening of the periods of ceasefires between myself and my counterpart in Hamas—we worked together on the Shalit prisoner exchange deal—Razi Hamed, the deputy foreign minister, proposed to the parties that they enter into a long-term ceasefire understanding with mechanisms that define what are breaches and what are not breaches and how to deal with emerging situations that are defined by Israel as impending terrorist attacks. I had written a draft about eight months ago. The draft was circulated around to Israeli officials, Hamas officials, the Egyptian intelligence and the United Nations. It was rejected, or it was decided by Hamas and Israel at that time not to decide, not to make a decision on it. About about a month ago, when the intensity of the fighting continued again, Razi Hamed and I decided to give it another chance, and we talked together and tried to make the proposal that I had initially written a little bit less complex, easier to understand or perhaps easier to implement, and it was also designed as a trial period of between six—three to six months. I met Razi Hamed last week in Cairo. We talked about it. He went to begin showing it to the Hamas officials. He showed it to some Hamas officials sitting in Cairo. They told him to go back to Gaza and to show it to the military and political officials back in Gaza, and he did that on Wednesday morning. He was showing it around to Ahmed Jabari and other people. I was supposed to receive from him that evening a copy of the draft that he had written in Arabic for me to deliver to the Israeli side and to the Egyptian intelligence, which I was not able to do in the end. AMY GOODMAN: Because he was assassinated. GERSHON BASKIN: That’s right.
  14. It's important that you pay attention: Hours before Hamas strongman Ahmed Jabari was assassinated, he received the draft of a permanent truce agreement with Israel, which included mechanisms for maintaining the cease-fire in the case of a flare-up between Israel and the factions in the Gaza Strip. "So, we agree? No more punches?" "No more punches." "Okay. We agree? No more punches." "Yep. Truce. No more punches." "Okay. I'm going for a drive" *BOOM* "Hamas started it!"
  15. You said that I started this thread and that I said people in West Bank are starving. Both things are imagined by you.
  16. Looks like you don't really know the timeline of the events: Hours before Hamas strongman Ahmed Jabari was assassinated, he received the draft of a permanent truce agreement with Israel, which included mechanisms for maintaining the cease-fire in the case of a flare-up between Israel and the factions in the Gaza Strip. A dirty action.
  17. Reality: MONDAY, 12 NOVEMBER Palestinian militant factions agree to a truce if Israel ends its attacks. WEDNESDAY, 14 NOVEMBER Israel breaks two days of calm by assassinating Ahmed Jabari, the head of Hamas' military wing. According to reports, at least eight other Palestinians are killed in Israeli attacks, including at least two children. Palestinian militant groups vow to respond. More on the Truce between Hamas and Israel: Hours before Hamas strongman Ahmed Jabari was assassinated, he received the draft of a permanent truce agreement with Israel, which included mechanisms for maintaining the cease-fire in the case of a flare-up between Israel and the factions in the Gaza Strip. This, according to Israeli peace activist Gershon Baskin, who helped mediate between Israel and Hamas in the deal to release Gilad Shalit and has since then maintained a relationship with Hamas leaders. Baskin told Haaretz on Thursday that senior officials in Israel knew about his contacts with Hamas and Egyptian intelligence aimed at formulating the permanent truce, but nevertheless approved the assassination. "I think that they have made a strategic mistake," Baskin said, an error "which will cost the lives of quite a number of innocent people on both sides." "This blood could have been spared. Those who made the decision must be judged by the voters, but to my regret they will get more votes because of this," he added.
  18. "So, we agree? No more punches?" "No more punches." "Okay. We agree? No more punches." "Yep. Truce. No more punches." "Okay. I'm going for a drive" *BOOM* "Hamas started it!"
  19. Of all the things to wonder, you point the finger at Hamas. Ever wondered that this has something to do with the Israeli elections? That this was another Israeli escalation, (started after breaking a ceasefire), right before an election to take attention away from internal economic and social issues? Every wondered that this could be about Iran? By weakening Hamas and reducing its stockpiles and capabilities during a war on Iran, they would reduce the chances of being attacked by Hamas
  20. I don't want to continue silly conversations. My thoughts? I recommend that you start reading books.
  21. Maybe they can also get a few bands out and rock it out while watching the fireworks.
  22. What a silly comment to make. The problem is that you're unable to comprehend that the people in Gaza have nowhere to go. All they can do is guess where Israel is going to bomb next. People are moving away from Hamas leader homes and moving to areas where there aren't Hamas homes. That seems to not be working, as it was demonstrated by the 11 family members who were flattened by Israel's "precision" bombs. Give me a reason why I should be debating with someone who will not back away from thinking that 500,000 people can fit in a couple of square miles, where 7500 Jewish settlers used to live. Is there really a point with chatting to illogical and irrational people like you?
  23. You posted a link to where 7500 Jewish settlers lived and you expect people in Gaza city (okay, not Gaza strip), which has a population of 500,000 to go and stand there while Israel bombs their buildings. It's time for you to take a break from the computer.
  24. 7500 settlers lived there. There are 1.5 million Gazans. It seems like my newborn has a better sense of space than you do.
  25. It's almost comedic watching people who are up in arms and are saying that the Gazans are at fault for getting in the way of bombs. ' Just pack up and move....."Righ here!". ' Minister of transport and Head of Strategic Planning, DogOnPorch.
