Typical Zionist apologists - continue with the same misinformation and lies they have been peppering us for decades, trying to suffocate the truth. Their b.s. has very little weight anymore. Their attempt to discredit all of the UN resolutions by falsely saying that they are supported by only Muslim/Arab States is another one of the lies that most do not believe anymore - Not only are these UN resolutions are supported by majority of the countries in the world, but to insinuate that all Arab/Muslim states are not credible, shows the bigotry that consumes Zionists. The evidence of Israel's crimes and violations of law is indefensible. Not only are there numerous UN resolutions, but there are several independent fact finding missions showing and outlining Israel's violations. There is also the ICJ ruling which outlines Israel's violations of international law when it comes to the occupation, the illegal wall that cuts deep into the Palestinian territory, the illegal settlements and the annexation of East Jerusalem.

Would you have the same message to the Jews in Auschwitz to not fight back against the Germans, knowing that they were facing a military 100 times or more powerful?

You need to understand the meaning of occupation under international law. Once you do, then you would understand why Israel is considered an occupier. Start by reading the link below, from an Israeli human rights organization which references international law. The Gaza Strip - Israel's obligations under international law

Is anti-Zionism really anti-Semitism?

The holocaust survivor's ordeal is not a justification to steal another group of people's land. Being Jewish and victim of the holocaust shouldn't trump human rights and international law. -

What you have said so far has been quite valid and as topics usually go, they go off into tangents. Whether Bonam or any other Israeli apologists like it or not, Israel's occupation and actions in the Middle East and terrorism by extremists and by Israel itself are all intertwined. I was only pointing out that Bonam was, again, trying to dismiss talk and criticism about Israel by labeling people and doing one of his eye rolls, "Leave Israel out of this!" responses. -

You're right. Looks like the usual suspects, WIP and Argus did bring Israel into this thread. -

Palestinian Christians see the Israelis for what they are. Occupiers and international law violators. Here is a good video which talks about Palestinian Christians: Back in 1948, when Israel was established, Christians in Palestine made up around 18 percent of the population... Now it is around two percent only. They have been faced with the same discriminatory policies as Muslim Palestinians, pushing thousands to leave Palestine. In a 2006 poll, Christians living in Bethlehem said Israeli aggression and occupation was the main cause of emigration. Inside Story discusses the sufferings of Palestinian Christians under the Israeli occupation. -
There is no argument that Bokoharam or ISIS are violating international and human rights laws. There is also no support from Western governments for those groups. For some reason, there is a resistance, despite enormous amount of proof, in accepting that Israel has been violating the Palesitnian's rights for decades. This is why it's imperative that people around the world, especially in the Western countries where we take pride in valuing democracy and human rights, speak up against this gross injustice and pressure our governments to stop supporting and also put pressure on our so-called ally, to start doing the right thing. This is much like Apartheid South Africa. Perhaps one day you will abandon your tribalism and nationalism and come to the righteous side, instead of supporting and promoting injustice.

Throughout the recent years, report after report from human rights organizations and fact finding misssions have pointed to Israel's continuous violations of international law and human rights. Many of the accusations amount to war crimes. This is exactly why Palestinians need to be part of ICC, so that they can have a chance to have those involved in these crimes to be prosecuted and punished. After the most recent attack on Gaza, Israel denied entry to Gaza, numerous human rights fact-finding missions, but it did allow in a team of medical experts. What they uncovered is shocking. Using human shields, attacking medical teams and hospitals, shooting at civilians waving white flags. A new report by Physicians for Human Rights authored by a team of international medical experts documents shocking testimonies of victims and presents new evidence from Operation Protective Edge in Gaza. ... The team of medical experts that authored the report visited Gaza three times as a delegation of Physicians for Human Rights (PHR). They collected testimonies from dozens of wounded and from medical teams, documented the army’s terrifying actions during the war. At least 15 people testified about and described incidents in which the army bombed a target, and then — after a short pause or immediately after — bombed it again. The result was especially deadly: family members, neighbors, passersby and/or medical and emergency teams that arrived to help the wounded and extract bodies from the rubble, were bombed themselves, were killed or wounded. ... The Red Crescent described the “double tap” practice as one of the central factors behind the deaths and injuries of their medical teams. A total of 23 medical personnel, 16 of them on duty, were killed during the war; another 83 were wounded. According to the team of experts, 45 ambulances were damaged by army attacks, including an ambulance station, 17 hospitals and 56 clinics that were entirely destroyed or damaged. And all that was after the UN transmitted to Israel the precise coordinates of every medical facility in the Gaza Strip. All this talk about human shields - Guess who was practicing it: In another incident a few days later, Israeli soldiers took over a home in the neighborhood and killed the father of the household, according to other family members. Next, they say, the soldiers made the other male family members stand in front of the windows; the soldiers stood behind, rested their weapons on their shoulders and shot outside — using them as human shields. Here is the full report.

- Person misrepresents several posters on a forum - Persons call the person out - Person denies misrepresenting them and asks for proof - Persons find the patience to look and show proof that he misrepresented them and also himself - Person denies it again - Persons become fed up with the misrepresentations, denials and long-winded, mostly incoherent posts - Two posters come in the thread, arms up in the air, somehow forgetting the person's history of posting, insults and uncivil behaviour, then ask why the persons are fed up with this poster.

Is anti-Zionism really anti-Semitism?
Hudson Jones replied to Hudson Jones's topic in The Rest of the World
Everyone in this thread who is reading your contradictions and misrepresentation and commenting on it. I'm not the only one. Others are calling you on it and providing you examples while you sit there denying it. The first step towards bettering yourself is admitting to the problem that you have. Your resistance and denial of the obvious is not going to get you anywhere. -

Everyone just saw this happen. You are full of contradictions. Not only do you misrepresent people, but you also misrepresent your own position. Ghosthacked posted a link where you did this. It's right there for everyone to see. -

It's wrong to kill innocent people by dropping bombs on them, shooting rockets at them or blowing yourself up amongst them. Whatever your motivation or justification may be, it shouldn't be up for debate whether it's wrong or right or justifiable. This is in par with, not only international law, but also the morality of those whose morality has not been corrupted. -
If you actually read what people say, when they find the patience to respond to you, you would realize that you have been accused of mis-representing several people in this forum with your long-winded, incoherent posts. So when I say "people", I mean people.

As the International Criminal Court opens an inquiry into Israeli war crimes (of which it has already been accused repeatedly by other authorities such as Amnesty International) Israel and its mouthpieces resort to their tired old cliche and knee jerk reaction of accusing anyone who raises the faintest voice against the relentless criminal behavior of Israel as "anti-Semite." In his essay, Joseph Massad dismantles - with surgical precision - the Zionist circuits sophistry that any criticism of Israel is anti-Semitic: ". . . when most Palestinians condemn Israel and not Jews, they are judged as anti-Semitic, and when some of them buy into the Zionist line and condemn Israel as a true representative of Jewishness, they are also condemned as anti-Semites. There is clearly no way out of this Zionist logic; whatever reaction Palestinians and their supporters muster towards Zionism and its crimes - save endorsing them - they are condemned as anti-Semites." "Arabs and Palestinians need not be convinced of this, as most of them understand Zionist logic perfectly well. It is Western public opinion that is subjected to these ideological acrobatics and often fails to see through them. It is the acceptance of these absurdities in Europe and its colonial-settler extensions that most Arabs and Palestinians find intolerable. That any serious Western intellectual, scholar or pundit would traffic in these Zionist claims - as many often do - stretches even the patience of Job."

More double standards and hypocrisy: Haaretz German paper publishes, in error, an anti-Semitic cartoonBerliner Zeitung mistakenly thought that image was a front page of the Paris satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. In a tribute to the French magazine a day after the massacre at its editorial offices, the Berlin daily published several of Charlie Hebdo's past cover pages. One of them, however, was a fake, showing a cartoon drawn by the anti-Semitic illustrator Joe le Corbeau. The cartoon showed an orthodox Jew, with a caption saying “1 million rebate out of six, for Palestine.” The word “rebate” is a wordplay suggesting rabbis and rebate in German. Berliner Zeitung a day later apologized for posting the cartoon. As one of the comments under the article says: Jewish hatred-bad, Arab hatred-good Hypocrisy. The exact same image dressed in jewish clothes is considered hate speech, anti-Semitic and an apology is issued. But put that image in Arab clothes and its free speech. This bigotry is disgusting. -

That's the thing. There is nothing about 80% of Muslims in the world, supporting Sharia law and all that entails. Unless you can post this information from the link you keep telling me confirms your comment, you have again posted misinformation. -

When you press reply and then say, "And yet..", it means that you are responding and countering something I said. You are not responding to anything that I said. Why do you have such a low attention span? Also, why haven't you responded to the 80% of Muslims want Sharia Law misinformation you posted? -

Good thing for my disclaimer. I'm not surprised that you're one of those who came here with that comment. I am a little surprised that it happened so quickly. You are very very bad at reading and someone who I find a waste of time to respond to. -
There is no focus in this thread. There is what people say and then there is what you say people are saying. End result is that you are debating against what people are not really saying. The thread and any focus was doomed as soon as you started typing in the first post.

This is not about religion. Religion has been interpreted into many different meanings and has been used to justify many actions for a long time. There are many types of Christians. There are many types of Muslims. There are many types of Jews. Zionism is a problem, much like Wahabism/Salafism (ISIL) is. They have morphed and devolved into ideals that excuse the violation of human rights of others, in order to achieve their goals. Zionism not only has had a violent past, but they continue to be violent and violate international laws that prohibit violence against civilians to this day. Case in point: The Gaza massacre, where over 1400 civilians, including 500 children were killed by Israel in under a month. Zionists will do whatever they can to try to justify these inhumane behaviour. Why? Because this is what Zionism is about and this is why Zionism is a problem. A problem that needs to be wiped out.

Hudson Jones replied to Boges's topic in The Rest of the World
The attempt to make it look like that there is a consistency in how all religions and religious people are treated in the media and by Charlie Hebdo is a failure and is not based on reality. I hate doing this, and I know even though I am going to give this disclaimer, it will not totally stop the brigades from accusing and asking the question I am going to give an answer to: I do not think the action and reaction of the killers is excusable or justified. I also don't think political or legal response, in order to censor expression is at the same level as the violence these people carried out or others have threatened to do. At the same time, I believe these terrorists and those who threaten violence, in no way represent Muslims around the world. Charlie Hebdo was never consistent in their targeting with their low-browed humour. Of all the Charlie Hebdo cartoons I have seen, there may have been the occasional Christian cartoons and there was only one about Jews. The overwhelmingly majority of them have been about Muslims. On top of that, Charlie Hebdo fired a cartoonist for making a comment about Sarkozy's son and his conversion to Judaism. Not only was he fired, but he was also taken to French court for 'anti-semitism'! Yes, the great symbol of freedom of speech and expression and the media outlet who has been put on a pedestal, Charlie Hebdo, and many here in the West, are selective when it comes to freedom of expression. #IamNotCharlie -
Here is King Bibi, who tried to make the Paris attack all about him and even though he was not invited, he decided to show up and then push himself to the front of the line. http://player.vimeo.com/video/116492356
