Huh...I've been looking at demolishing and re-building on one of my properties in Toronto. My research shows it would cost about $500k to do the demo and build 2 houses on the same lot. Each house would sell in today's market for about 1.5 million. On the other hand, should I decide to simply build another apartment on top of what's already there, the cost would be about $200k (Maximum) with a rental value of about $2500/mo. Evidently, housing prices have much more to do with value than they do with cost to build.

I was a Liberal. Then I began to see the results of Liberal governments. The acquiescence to what I see as the scourge of humanity right now, Globalism. Unfortunately the Canadian Conservatives are Globalists as well. So I became a Nationalist. Not the most popular of political leanings these days, but growing fast. Then came Trump. I couldn't/can't help but support the guy because his platform is the closest fit to my beliefs. His first term results were nothing short of staggeringly good for the USA and Canada. Considering the push for the Rona Vaccines...good for the entire world.

Huh...one of my sons tried this one on me. "I have anxiety! I can't get outta bed!" That lasted 1 week with me. I bought the lad Peterson's 12 Rules For Life, made him read it, spoke with him about that and his "feelings", et voila...he got a job, is doing well, found himself a little blond girlfriend, built up his self esteem, and now he still has short bouts with "anxiety"...which I think is simply the result of me spoiling him...but he's productive and now is considering becoming a cop or a fireman. We coddled our kids because we could. The 90's and 2000's were great for work and getting ahead. But we produced a bunch of weaklings. Kids who have no idea how to deal with the real world and are scared of facing it. To the OP: You are every bit as strong as the next person. You just don't realize this yet.
