I live in Canada, not Iran or anywhere in the middle east. I sympathize, but its not my mess to clean up.

But you ignore the pertinent question. 'Why must Isreal live, surrounded by people who detest them?' And further to that, 'Why did they act in the same manner as had been done to them, towards the natives of the land...the Palestinians? Dude...when a religion morphs into a people...the outcome cannot be "good". Judaism is a religion. Not a people. There are Russian Jews, Chinese Jews, Japanese Jews, French Jews, etc...etc...etc... Many carry a remnant of Semitic DNA because that's where many of them originated. But the same it true fir almost all humans. Now...for reasons I dont completely fathom, the Jewish religion instructs their believers to isolate themselves from others. This is not a development of bigotry others, but the opposite. It is an original rule of the teaching and quite frankly, an insult. In short, some "Gawd" did not give that chunk of sand to a certain religious sect of Semites. Not a Gawd of creation, anyway. No...MAN did that! And MAN is going to have to straighten this out!

This is pathetic. Conservatives would undo all the restrictions put in place to stifle business and prosperity. That bothers you because apparently, you detest prosperity. Or is it something else? I am very concerned about Muslims taking hold of this country. I used my vote to oppose this. But Canada, in its seemingly infinite stupidity, keeps electing Libbies who invite these people in, in unbelievable numbers. So now our own government won't stand on guard. As for the Soviets, my wife is a Soviet defector. She's lived through it and seen what the alternative did. You may be surprised to know that alot of people in Central Europe, wish they'd never changed. That's because "freedom" has come at too high and price. The EU is strangling them with over regulation and they have bought out most of the infrastructure. One must ask the pertinent question. Why is Iran causing or financing violence in the Middle East? And the answer is...Isreal. So let Isreal deal with them.

Slow down there. Just how does it become my business? I live on the other side of the planet. Oh I can wag my finger, stomp my foot and go, 'BAD IRAN! BAD MUSLIM LEADERS!' But should I be asked to fight with them? Why? Because they do bad things and dont like Isreal? IMO...I sympathize hugely with the Iranian people. I wish I could change their leadership. But that was tried...and failed. The Iranians were given a chance to take the government...and they didn't. How is this all our problem?

Let Isreal deal with their own crap. If they manage to nuke the region...they'll likely lose their own coveted country as well. Great strategy... The Canadian military is what it is. I'd like to see it used better...but without conscription, its always gonna be small and rather cheap. We "need" ice-breakers and battalions up north. As for the carney...same old same old. Why is this any of your business? How do you know the accusations are false? Not that I like the Shiite rule of Iran. I dont. I dont like any of it. But that's rather irrelevant. Yes you are. Why do you post such nebulous stuff? Are you making a point? What is it? IMO...handing Palestine to the Jews was a massive mistake. The way in which that happened was both predictable and rather disgusting. Not that I dont understand the actions of the Jewish settlers...I do. Europe had been openly anti-Jew for a long time. The war financing antics of the Rothschild family was well known and left a bitter taste in the mouths of pretty much everyone. But the Jews emerged from WWII with anger and desperation in their hearts. They expressed such with righteousness as they claimed Palestine. They treated the Palestinians as poorly as Europe had treated them. Worse by some accounts. The surrounding Arab and Persian nations hated the Jews with a passion...and the Jews in Isreal treated the Arabs and Persians with open contempt. The stage was set for a never ending battle that rages to this day. The tragedy of Isreal has haunted the world ever since. I dont claim to know how to untie this knot of faux pas. But it might serve as a balm were Isreal to just allow the 2-state solution to come to fruition.

Isreal has always had a PR problem. When this Iran attack ends, the country will probably have managed to make their acceptance impossible for even more people. Are they solving a problem? Or making it worse for themselves?

Lol...my point is exactly what I said. I understand...and may even agree...with removing those sanctions. It should help stabilize the global issue for a time. In the long run, I hope the US extricates itself from both Iran and Ukraine.

For emphasis... No. It is not "odd" at all. I agree that the numerous mighty sanctions, were ment to impede Russia's efforts. TODAY...with the price of oil and gas skyrocketing again, just as they were coming down, relaxing the oil sanctions on Russia may not be a bad idea...considering that regardless of the mighty sanctions, Russia has continued to grow. Now...I dont really expect you to fathom that but...you are what you are.
