  1. I hope you’ll keep that in mind when it comes time to vote. If there’s a Christian woman running for the Conservatives, I hope you’ll give this passage thought and not vote for her, given she is not supposed to be in authority over men.
  2. Yes, I agree it says that women should not teach men in any setting. No, the bible doesn’t just set out rules for Christians. When it says to believe in Him, or to not murder, those aren’t directed at just Christians. It doesn’t say that women shall not teach Christian men. It says they shall not teach any man.
  3. Several Anheuser-Busch facilities received threats last week, a company spokesperson confirmed, following weeks of backlash against Bud Light because it sponsored two Instagram posts from a transgender woman. https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/20/business/bud-light-threats/index.html
  4. I asked you if it pertained only to churches earlier… Where does it say in that passage that it would only pertain to religious teachings?
  5. I’m not obfuscating! Grab your hood! The blacks have usurped our white mermaids!
  6. So a woman professor who teaches future doctors (men and women) should only be able to teach women? ’Scuse my French, but that’s f#cked up. I had women instructors. They were great.
  7. Of course…. The people who cancelled Bud…. That’s different of course. Seems like a double standard to me.
  8. I thought so. So, does this apply to women teaching anything? Or just women as church leaders?
  9. Is it always men? Do you ever listen to godly women preach?
  10. Yes, you can choose anything you want, as long as it is the choice that God already knows that you will do. You couldn’t choose anything else, or God would be wrong.
  11. You must be really upset about Bud Light beer being forced to give up their transgender ad campaign because of the hostile activists too, eh? So the business made a business decision. Like Bud beer did.
  12. You chose. But if God knows what you will choose, how could you ever choose something different than that?
  13. An agenda where mermaids aren’t just white and black kids can see something of themselves in the story too? That sounds serious!!! Sounds like we need to get out the white hoods and grab some rope!
  14. Are they obligated to give him a platform? I thought conservatives liked a free market…. They would be wrong. According to you, he was stopped at some venues. They really should get their own material anyway, eh? Are you one of these people that thinks a private venue violates the 1st Amendment (I assume we’re talking USA here) when they don’t allow someone to perform at their place of business? Thats not how it works.
  15. If God knew you were going to choose ‘A’ how could you have chosen ‘B’?
  16. You do mock the changes, don’t you? Who is stopping you from doing so?
  17. I don’t even care why they did it or if it was bad for business. Why do you care that a mermaid was made to have black skin?
  18. Because they can do whatever they want with their fictional character! If they think it’ll sell, then they should go for it.
  19. I think the solution is for you not to use the words how other people are using them. Use the words how you think they should be used. The solution is not to make up conspiracies about dictionaries. Dictionaries don’t tell us how to use words, they reflect how words are being used. Don’t like it? Well…. Too bad, I guess. Cross your fingers and hope the English language only changes in ways you approve of.
  20. Dictionaries are not prescriptive, they’re descriptive. If a word changes in how people who speak English use the word, the dictionary definition changes.
  21. The dictionary defines woman and breast. Not sure what you’re going on about there. Also, dictionaries are not prescriptive, they’re descriptive. If a word changes in how people who speak English use the word, the dictionary definition changes.
  22. How do you pick ‘B’ if God knew 1 million years ago that you would pick ‘A’? You chose ‘A’. God knew you would choose ‘A’. You couldn’t choose ‘B’ if God already knew that you would choose ‘A’.
  23. Not true. They are not in communion. The East–West Schism, also known as the Great Schism or Schism of 1054, is the ongoing lack of communion between the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches since 1054.[1]
  24. You did exactly what I predicted; you ignored the hypothetical that God knows you will pick ‘A’. God’s knowledge happens prior to you picking. So if God knows you will pick ‘A’ millions of years before you were ever born, how do you pick ‘B’? (I predict that once again you will ignore the hypothetical of what God knows)
  25. Yes. You have no evidence. In fact, @Michael Hardner and I showed evidence to the contrary. And yet you double-down on your BIG DICTIONARY (©️ @Michael Hardner) conspiracy.
