  1. No, tips are taxable income. Just because it isn’t claimed in their taxes, or is difficult to enforce, doesn’t mean that it’s not taxable.
  2. You think they forgot they have parents? The inference here is that they chose to be gay for some reason. When did you choose to be straight?
  3. Which law exactly? You should be able to show where a prosecution happened for this crime, right?
  4. Your word salad is difficult to parse through. Maybe just stick with actual examples? I asked for examples of courts compelling speech, and I get an employer being taken to task for harassing their employee. If that’s the worst we got, then Canada is right on track! Yay us!
  5. Not at all. Misgender someone all you want in the public realm; you have no responsibility to treat everyone with respect. In this case, however, employers have certain responsibilities when they employ someone. They have to treat their employees with a certain amount of respect. Otherwise, there are consequences.
  6. I didn’t see that example as I have that user on ignore. In reference to that case, can an employer willfully, and constantly denigrate their employees? No. So, this is not a question of “free expression” at all, but the boss treating his employee like shit based on their gender. That’s what they call, in legal terms, a “no-no”.
  7. So, religion is a bad thing, in general? Arent you a religionist?
  8. I will grant your argument…. Is that against the law? Do you think you can be convinced to “be gay”? When were you convinced to be straight?
  9. So…. They can have parades? Get your friends and church together and go have a parade! What exactly is stopping you? But, you didn’t answer the question. The 2 people parading about in costumes …. Isn’t that part of their free expression guaranteed by the Charter?
  10. Isn’t this part of Canadians’ right to free expression?
  11. Lies. That’s a sin.
  12. Because you say so? Let’s assume you’re correct. Do you think all the good things could have been introduced without needing to separate children from families or force them out of their lands?
  13. That’s a convenient excuse. Your moral system is corrupt. Under a humanist system that would never be a moral action. The humanist system is superior to your god.
  14. Do you think all the good things could have been introduced to the local population 200 years ago without a genocide?
  15. You don’t like parades and costumes?
  16. What did I take out of context?
  17. Most useless commandment ever then! Why would God make the 10 Commandments if one of them is useless? Or, why do Christians claim the commandments to be holy?
  18. Sure they did…. They loved the reserves, being kicked off their lands, the residential schools…. They should be grateful, right?
  19. Do you think advanced technology should be forced upon people without their consent? What if they don’t want it? And what if they wanted to stay where they were and not move?
  20. You may want to read it again.
  21. I think Canada needs the PM, but Parliament should actively curtail the powers wielded by the PMO.
  22. The provinces have jurisdiction to manage them. They still belong to all Canadians.
  23. Humanism believes gay people have the same rights as straight people. That doesn’t mean that families are obsolete. That’s asinine. In fact, it makes families stronger and expands families. Humanism is pro family. You reject God too. Just not as much as humanists do. Nearly every Christian rejects the Sabbath, despite the claim that the 10 Commandments are holy. Clearly, they’re only holy when they’re convenient.
