Are you saying they’re unconstitutional because you think they are? Why are you and a small group of self-appointed truckers the arbiters of what is unconstitutional? Isn’t it abundantly clear that the Charter (our rights) are interpreted and enforced by lawful courts, and not a self appointed posse?

I asked about all the different gods. If evidence is off the table, which one should we pick, and why? A Muslim could look at the Koran and say the exact same thing that you just did, with the same level of confidence and the same justifications, couldn’t they? Granting that your god is the best one (although, we still have no reasons why we should choose your god), can you and I look at the same passage in the bible and come to a completely different understanding?

Improved human health. Not so good for the rats they breed to be the “guinea pigs”…. Do they use actual guinea pigs still??? My take is that it is worth a million rats’ lives to create a product to increase human flourishing, like in the case of cancer treatment. It’s not worth a single rat’s life so that a human has eye makeup that won’t irritate. Is it worth the cruel and inhumane treatment of our closest primate cousin so that we can cure disease in humans? Should we put these chimpanzees in cages and subject them to torture? That I am not so sure about…. Where do we draw the line?

Maybe you and I both like rights. Could the difference be that I want the courts to oversee the enforcement of these and you would prefer it to be enforced by a small group of self-appointed “rights-enforcers”? One of our methods abides by the same Constitution you claim to hold dear and the other is simply mob rule.

Is there a way to provide this list to Trudeau…. You know…. For “re-education” purposes? Joking aside…. Maybe we are in an autocracy and just don’t know it? That’s why I’m asking for some evidence and concrete examples.

That’s your opinion of what we have, but why should I believe that this is really the case? Again, I don’t see a reason for your view other than “I don’t like the results”.

If evidence for a god is off the table, then how would we know which god is the right one? By having such a standard, haven’t you relegated all gods to be equally as likely?

My point was not to look down on people who aren’t the inventors and scientists…. I am one of the “dumb” to whom we refer! My point is simply that it is the intellectual elite who have invented everything. They cure our headaches, invent the machines we use and keep our histories organized in our libraries! Should we not appreciate the people who put in the hard work and who were blessed with the intellectual capacity to do this work for the rest of us?

Why should your particular set of “family values” be the one that is taught? What makes it superior to the value that families can be made up of 1 parent, or 2 parents of the same gender, as well as a family of 2 parents of the opposite gender?
