I see a flaw in this thinking…. According to your hypothesis, a vote is wasted unless the vote is for the winning candidate. I don’t think any votes are wasted, as you exercised your democratic duty as a citizen. You didn’t win, but neither did most of the other people in the entire country.

I like the studies. I just don’t believe conspiracy theorists’ takes on the studies and how they interpret them to conclude things about BIG PHARMA taking over the world, or whatever.
