Oooh long time ago. Just like the number of people shocked that contemporary laptops are missing one. PEBKAC was popular too, Problem Exists Between Keyboard and Chair. I've been given a couple printers to recycle because they were 'no good'. An office grade HP Laser that wouldn't turn off or on (you have to hold th power button down for a second, not just poke it). and an almost new Epson inktank w 2 black refill bottles. They went away for a month and now "it's no good at all just spits out blank paper". 2023 and they never even knew to press Clean Printheads. That one is currently on sale at Costco for $449. A lady just brought me a laptop to recycle, I asked if she had the power brick. She told me it didn't come with one, it has a battery. I guess the charge lasted since 2015 and finally ran out.

In 16 years of asking "Which restaurant would you like to eat at?" the only answer I ever got was "where would you like to eat at?". Even if I was trying to inquire because her birthday was in a few days. Once I drove her and 4 other women and told them at the start of a 2 hour drive "YOU decide where we're going for dinner, I'm buying." Guess who decided in the end.... The most common lie I heard was from customers who'd call and accuse "YOUR Internet isn't working! What's wrong THIS time?" 90% of the time their computer was messed up, they didn't connect to their router, the Internet was fine but the one site they wanted was down and even once the whole town that the school that called was in was without power The principal was shouting over the sound of generators that how dare I lie to him when the lights were on in the school. The TV-radio-Internet tower was directly across the street blacked out like all the other buildings in town.

Of course. How DARE he condemn India for murdering Canadians on Canadian soil. Who does he think he is the leader of a real country? Buy the whole conspiracy: the 5 Eyes only told him that because our own allies don't trust us! and Justin made my toast burn this morning too!

How Electric Cars Save The Planet
herbie replied to reason10's topic in Health, Science and Technology
If not for fossil fuels there wouldn't be any Vaseline so worry about your own ass and not your car. (best retort I heard since "She's got the whitest teeth I've ever come across" -
They make great Chinese food.... as I sat on the can, thankful for those handicapped rails I could hold myself down with and not launch like a Saturn 5

Stop making sense! These radicals teach their children to confront tanks with slingshots and then want your pity if they get steam-rolled. Obviously used that aid money to buy thousands and thousands of rockets to launch at Israel and hide under hospitals and day cares. Israel is doing a military response and obviously a ceasefire to let Hamas regroup and rearm is about the stupidest thing they could do militarily. Let those who want to yell and petition and spout their meaningless "'think of the children, (ours not yours)" carry on their useless babble.

More tax dollars for the Native Indians.

Why would I have to tell people to do their job? Gave up on that long ago, they just get mad. Your opinion is based on hand picked 'facts' that point out your racist attitude pretty damn clear. A lot of 'white guys' I know express the same opinion of natives, unaware that they also don't work, have yards full of garbage and cars up on blocks and think piles of empties on the porch are status symbols (look how much "I" drink). The rez is far tidier than the road they live on that's only blocks away. -
Scott Moe Cancels Carbon Tax In Saskatchewan

"Alberta was polling close to wanting to split before harper got elected and believe it or not BC was polling even higher for it. " And I can post the sky is orange and hope some people believe it's true. -
So parade around Toronto yelling and waving placards. It's at least 5% more effective than clicking a mouse at getting completely foreign countries and terrorist organizations to change their policies. And less reprehensible than blaming your own country for what other ones do.

Are you trying to test the mods as to just how disgusting your racist comments can get? They've surpassed anything that gets mere warnings on other sites. As for fox's splitting hairs, talk about the kettle calling the pot.... at least you'/re playing your usual 'what I read is the opposite of what you wrote' game and not doubling down repeating racist utterings. -

I said some of the coming decisions may involve compensation, I didn't try to claim natives are being handed a billion dollars in the mentioned case. That was the lie. If you insist on pettiness above actual discussion. -

Like I said you heed to resort to lies trting to make your case. The billion deollars you ranted about is not going to 'the Indians' as you claim by for species and areas under threat. It was announced along with native dignataries because nothing is going to be done in Canada without input and consultation with the tribes affected ever again. Sometimes that will involve compensation. If you don't like that, pick another country to live in. Scratch Australia, New Zealand, the USA and all the countries in S America off your list of choices. -
First of all they'd have to see if they could even invoke it. The notwithstanding clause was designed for Provinces to use in exceptional cases that go against the Charter of Rights. not Parliament itself. Would they need 7/10 provinces to agree? Would they need a Supreme Court decision that they even could first? Either would mean so long a time we could vote the fascist bastards out of office.

Jesus K Riest resorting to outright lies to continue the racist bullshit. How desperate. And claiming giving people what they're due is "wokeness"? You people really are wastes of skin. And even our resident "Christian" perpetuates things with his exaggerated claims that the people that live in those areas aren't qualified and will benefit only by race. Where do you think the real wilderness experts live? Downtown Eastside? Yonge St? Oak Bay? Who owns the helicopters that take them there, sells them their equipment and their lunch? The lodge they stay in? -

You are claiming that racism is delivering an opportunity previously denied to a particular group, same as claiming that desegregation itself is racism. They were denied the health care that was due, sued and won. Simple as that. Yet here are people acting like they shouldn't have to pay out as the plaintiffs are natives and they're not. How much clearer can it be that that is racist? -

Yes, unable to see what's pointed out. Or more, likely, simply refusing to see it. Pitiful, simply deplorable. And standing there mocking a forest fire doesn't make it go away. -
Exactly, it's not like a budget failing to pass. It's not like you can avoid heating your home, so in the overall scheme of CO2 reduction doesn't need immediate drastic action. It could be a problem solved by already existing market pricing and change out incentives. It's also a populist idea that's not overly harmful to the overall objective like the current simplistic 'scrap the tax" being pushed. People were up in arms about their car's gas tank and never even considered this before. Keep in mind, the federal NDP also proposed exempting farmind fuel as well and that was rejected by the Tories. Could be railing that the Tories are "against farmers" if I wanted to just to troll. As was pointed out elsewhere in some places the tax on LNG home heating is almost as much as the cost of the fuel itself. I'd sure like to see every 3rd house on the block using LNG instead of wood 'cuz they can't afford it'.

racism more racism yet more still more Neither read about the court decision or what it is for Wants to support a party that wouldn't make swettlements instead? Absolute dictionary definition of a racist comment yet more... the other guy's the racist, not us Just stand up for others that are? And mock those that aren't? Uniquely Canadian condemn the natives as there's some financial cost that you don't get yourself. -

Oh no, none of you are.[/s] You just walk like one and talk like one and deny it on a stack of Bibles. That some of you simply hide behind. repeat and deny, repeat and deny.
