Actually I do think they are selfish and an insult to the majority of their fellow workers who are vaccinated. Them winding up in ICU themselves will be an extra burden on those fellow workers who were more responsible as well as an extra burden on the system they work for.

It takes almost a decade to train a doctor and RN is a four year science degree. I'm not interest in your bitching because it doesn't do anything to cope with our present situation. ER waits are long but if wind up in ER and need intensive care you may be out of luck because the ICU's are crammed with Covid patients. What is so difficult to understand about ICU's at 89% capacity because they are 76% full of unvaccinated Covid patients? God some people are thick.

U of A nearly doubles ICU beds but Edmonton Zone still at 89% capacity. 104 of their 137 ICU beds are occupied by Covid cases.

Triage is used all the time to determine who needs care first, it is not used to decide who lives or dies except in wars or disasters.

It has happened in many parts of the world. A year ago LA County paramedics were rationing oxygen and triaging people in their homes deciding whether to transport them or not. But stay ignorant if it makes you feel better.

You do understand what will happen as these beds do fill they will have to transport patients to other hospitals or provinces which have room and not many do. Did you watch the video and the part where the doctor was talking about being near the point of having to perform triage? Do you even know what triage means?

Numbers will continue to rise for a least two weeks as these restrictions start to take effect. I think it is becoming pretty clear that with so many still unvaccinated, the requirement for masks at indoor public places will be with us for some time, as will periodic boosters.

So now 4.5 million dead people don't exist.
