The guns these people use are almost always bought legally. The gun used by this guy could have been sold half a dozen times perfectly legally because no record is kept of the transaction. The only recorded sale would have been to the original owner who bought it from a dealer. That is what passes for gun control in the US. You really don't care who dies as result as long as nothing changes.
