  1. I already pointed out over and over that I did. You just don’t like what those facts might imply so you want the facts silenced. Doesn’t matter that he himself wasn’t republican he had an army of republicans falling all over themselves giving him a sweetheart deal and covering it up. And yes the Republican lawyers representing him are “his” lawyers by any common understanding of the English language As I have already described to you repeatedly. Ken Starr served in Reagan and Bush Sr administrations and led the witch hunt against Bill Clinton that unearthed the Lewinsky affair (but none of the high crimes Republicans had been alleging) which he published in unnecessarily graphic detail simply to humiliate the president and score political points. Jay Lefkowiz Epstein’s lead attorney served in the administrations of both Bush presidents and a key member of the right wing Federalist Society, a conservative legal network. I challenge you to find one example where either represented a prominent democrat on a high profile issue. Dershowitz may not be a card carrying republican but he is best known for representing republicans including Trump’s impeachment and being a regular controller to fox news where he spoke out against “the left” and the Mueller probe. *face palm* You’re getting really desperate As I already explained to you, I outlined the FACTS. Then separately I provided what those facts might mean, making clear what is fact and what is fact and what is subjective by using words like “assuming that”. Thats how arguments work and how the English language works You are falsely accusing me of trying to misrepresent my assumptions as facts when clearly I dod not and hilariously that what you MAGA trolls do here all day every day with your accusations about Hunter Biden , stolen election, and now this ridiculous Obama coup claim. You’re basically saying trump your side is allowed to substitute your opinion speculation as fact but others aren’t allowed to report the facts and then suggest what those facts *might* mean. As above what is your argument here, nobody is allowed to ever suggest a republican might have something wrong because that is not “a fact?” I am allowed to tell you the facts and then tell you what I think those facts might suggest and if you weren’t trying desperately to be such an intellectually dishonest troll you would admit that Correct he was labour secretary but still the Epstein controversy of the time was so big and so close to Trump it’s still very convenient that they just happened to find new evidence against Epstein right when it was needed to address the controversy. “We never thought to check his other house before!” No conflation. Arguments are based on facts and then conclusions based on those facts. I did not conflate the two. For example I did mot for say “Its a fact Trump killed Epstein” which would be a MAGA-style conflation. When people use words like “I assume” by definition they are separating fact from conclusion so stop being so dishonest
  2. Harper says Carney team sought his trade advice, suggests looking outside U.S. OTTAWA — Former prime minister Stephen Harper said Monday he's urging Ottawa to find new trading partners outside the United States. "I think it's fair to say I'm probably the most pro-American prime minister in Canadian history," Harper told Canadian and American legislators gathered for the annual Midwestern Legislative Conference meeting in Saskatoon. "We've got to get something short-term worked out with the Trump administration. But this really is a wake-up call for this country to truly diversify its trade export markets. …. Harper said that anyone who had asked for his trade advice a year ago would have been urged to deepen economic and security ties with Canada's southern neighbour. "However, when the government did actually ask me a few weeks ago, my advice was the opposite," he said. Harper said that while Washington is using a failed economic policy of pursuing economic growth through tariffs, the U.S. still needs trading partners. "We just cannot be in a position in the future where we can be threatened in this way and not have that leverage," he said. "The current government does, you know, get it better than their predecessors." ….. https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/harper-says-carney-team-sought-191922663.html
  3. I clearly stated facts nothing I stated was a conspiracy rambling. If you take issue that used adverbs like “conveniently” to describe things that actually happened and happened to be politically convenient for certain people thats your problem because those are still facts Epstein’s lawyers were prominent and powerful politically active republicans. Their careers were elevated by Trump afterwards included one who had been named as a perpetrator. It is entirely relevant to mote that Republicans arranged this sweetheart deal and kept it secret, elevated the careers of the people involved in the deal and are now trying to prevent the files from being released. What exactly is not factual? You just don’t like the facts that so many republicans were involved in the deal and the secrecy You don’t like that Im implying republicans engaged impropriety by stating the facts but the facts don’t care about your feelings For example I didn’t say Republicans killed Epstein that would be an unproven accusation. I said he conveniently died under suspicious circumstances while in Trump custody, that’s factual statement whether you’re butthurt by it or not No, I gave factual information about what happened and called out all the very factual coincidences and conveniences to the Republicans involved and leave it up to the reader to decide. You don’t like that because the facts make republicans look bad. I also pointed out the obvious hypocrisy of Republicans routinely calling out coincidences and conveniences as “UNDENIABLE EVIDENCE!!!! of all their bullshit conspiracies (Hunter Biden, stolen election, etc etc) but when the shoe is on the other foot about Republicans you don’t want anyone to even point out the FACT that those coincidences and conveniences even exist It was terribly convenient how after a decade and with no active ongoing investigation Acosta was suddenly able to find evidence for new charges right after his secret plea deal came to light and stirred controversy. Again the highly convenient timing and the supposed coincidence of it all is a fact and is right to call it out And I did not say it’s a fact that they sat on it I clearly said that’s my personal conclusion based on the facts Epstein lived in New York it’s pretty absurd that they never thought to look there for evidence during the original investigation I am presenting the facts, which include calling out how convenient the death was for certain people and all of the other coincidences and conveniences
  4. Yea it is just the facts and you continue to obfuscate and deny reality as usual. This has all been explained many times including recently. How many times do you need it spelt out? The primary Republicans were: Alex Acosta the Republican US attorney who negotiated the sweetheart immunity deal and non-prosecution agreement for Epstein and had it placed under seal so the public wouldn’t learn of it. The deal not only gave complete unlimited immunity to Epstein in exchange for pleading guilty on 2 prostitution charges with mild sentences but also gave unlimited immunity to any unnamed co-conspirators who might have been involved. A court later foundthis agreement violated federal Crime Victims Rights Act Ken Starr, the Republican lawyer (of Clinton impeachment fame) who represented Epstein and negotiated the sweetheart deal for Epstein He would then go on to become chancellor of Baylor university and ultimately forced to resign after he covered up nearly 2 dozen sexual assaults and gang rapes committed by 19 different members of his football team where the victims continued to be taunted and bullied afterwards Alan Dershowitz, a longtime friend of Epstein known as a frequent visitor on the “Lolita Express” and to “Lolita Island” and a powerful and prominent Republican lawyer highly influential in Republican circles also represented Epstein alongside Starr in the sweetheart deal. He was directly implicated and named as as an active user of Epstein’s underage girls Epstein trafficking survivor Virginia Giuffre, who conveniently committed suicide just this year after Trump was reelected Jay Lefkowitz: another prominent Republican lawyer who served in the Bush Sr and Bush Jr. administrations and was also a central member of Epstein’s legal team George Bush Jr (indirectly) whose administration signed off in the seal. Donald Trump (indirectly at a minimum, potentially directly): a close friend of Epstein’s for nearly 2 decades, who despite being fully aware of all of their actions above for some reason rewarded Acosta with an appointment to Attorney General and rewarded Starr and Dershowitz by retaining them for his own impeachment trials His administration is now working with Mike Johnson to suppress the release of the Epstein file, which they had promised and promoted, and only AFTER he was briefed on how much his name appears in the files Alex Acosta again: after the Miami Herald broke the story of his secret sweetheart deal with Epstein a decade earlier Acosta all of a sudden and conveniently “just discovered” new evidence on acts Epstein allegedly committed back then that are allegedly mot covered under the immunity deal because they allegedly occurred in New York and the immunity was only for crimes Florida. He then resigned as AG citing the Epstein controversy as “a distraction” and Epstein conveniently dies under suspicious circumstances while in Trump custody before any of the allegations be proven. To be clear Acosta didn’t say Epstein committed new acts after making the plea deal, he said these were old acts that they just didn’t know about when making the deal and only the Florida US attorney office was involved in the deal so it doesn’t apply to anything that happened in New York. Assuming these actions actually occurred and are not just another Republican fabrication like Saddam’s WMD, the most likely explanation is that prosecutors knew about these NYC acts the whole time but deliberately kept them out of the plea deal and off the record so that they would continue to have leverage over Epstein in the future. I mean even though Florida is a messed up shithole its ridiculous to think Epstein was only a pedo when he was in his Florida home but not his NYC home. There are Republicans everywhere on the prosecution the defence and as potential accomplices. There is a sweetheart plea deal that Republicans alone crafted and tried to keep secret which was so generous to Epstein it violated federal law. There is the elevation of these specific republicans under a Republican president with long a deep Epstein ties and the convenient timing of Epstein’s sudden re-arrest and suspicious death under said Republican president right after the secret republican deal was exposed in the media Sure, it could a string of coincidences and innocent explanations etc. but Republicans routinely peddle in far fetched conspiracies against democrats for far less. Principles named above. These are prominent high profile politically active Republicans, not simply lawyers you find in the phone book who represent anyone who happens to call. The “news” was when the Miami Herald broke the story of Acosta’s secret republican deal and then came the public pressure and Acosta conveniently “discovering” new evidence eight after. His death was suspicious, the guards assigned to watch him faked their logs and left him alone just ling enough to commit suicide. His death before trial is very convenient to those who don’t want evidence to come to light. Maybe it’s all just unfortunate coincidence but like I said the Republicans peddle anti-democrat conspiracies all the time on far less than what transpired here.
  5. I agree almost completelY. I also doubt there’s anything incriminating in there about Trump. So then why not release it. Names of other people can always be redacted. Governments do this routinely. The documents may not incriminate him but they likely document in detail how closely associated he was with Epstein and will likely raise other questions like what did he know and when did he know and probably also detail his martial infidelity and other debauched behaviour that he is reputed to have engaged in when partying with Epstein.
  6. Everything I mentioned in that post is an absolute public fact. If you disagree with something, be specific.
  7. You’re still gaslighting. It wasn’t “liberals” who brought up the Epstein files It was PAM BONDI who has been telling the media for months she was going to release the Epstein files and a “client list” as the MAGA conspiracy kooks had convinced themselves and each other that there was a list containing democrats and elites. Instead ee learn that Trump’s name is all over the documents, there may or may not be a list at all and suddenly the Trump administration has changed their minds without explanation and decided they’re not releasing anything Thats how it happened
  8. Trump is on his third wife, always leaving them for younger women, cheated on every single one of them. Newt Gingrich cheated on one of his many wives while she was dying of cancer. How many children has Elon Musk abandoned or never even attended in the first place? Look the list of Republican cheaters, whoremongers and family abandoners is long. And that’s just the politicians never mind private citizens. Especially in the MAGA movement where debauchery, hedonism, vulgarity and selfishness are seen as virtues and encouraged.
  9. Doesn’t mean it is not right and yes it is less selfish than leaving young children
  10. Once again you show that you know nothing. Bush prosecutors gave Epstein and his Republican the sweetheart plea deal of a lifetime which included a non-prosecution agreement granting him immunity from any further charges or investigation. The Republicans involved on both sides of the case ensured that immunity agreement is placed under seal and kept from the public and victims. In Trump’s first term he appointed the Republican prosecutor Acosta, who gave Epstein the sweetheart deal , to his cabinet and retained the Republican lawyer that represented Epstein for his own impeachment hearings. In 2018 The Miami Herald published a series of investigative reports into Epstein and the role of Trump’s cabinet member Attorney Acosta collaborating with Epstein’s Republican lawyers in Epstein's plea deal. Acosta resigns a few months later, citing the Epstein controversy as rue reason but first Epstein is suddenly and conveniently arrested for one additional historical count of sex trafficking that prosecutors conveniently just discovered and claimed wasn’t covered under the original immunity agreement they had given him. Epstein conveniently dies in custody under suspicious circumstances before any of the new allegations can be proven. Those are the facts buddy.
  11. Well her “kids” are fully grown adults. And while the article doesn’t say anything about the quality of her marriage or her husband, at worst this article is nothing more than the selfishness of ONE person And it’s pretty ridiculous to suggest that only Liberals divorce and leave their families. Look at your president.
  12. You got it backwards as usual trying to gaslight everyone . The Epstein file controversy was first and then just recently BAM its hilariously flimsy and nonsensical Obama conspiracy fake news distraction day! Not only do their claims about Obama not make any sense but what they “revealed” would have been easily available to them during Trump’s first term so the sudden timing of this “revelation” just as Trump’s spiralling on Epstein is obvious to the non-brainwashed
  13. Ok. So you do believe that Trump sent Epstein a bawdy birthday card referring to his “wonderful secret”. Thank for confirming.
  14. And so now his administration is suddenly refusing to release the files as they had originally promised and Republicans have prematurely recessed Congress until September right after promising not to, just to prevent a vote forcing the release of those files.
  15. There isn’t an ounce of truth what you said. You fabricated the claim that there are many photos of Carney and Epstein when in fact there are zero. You fabricated the claim that Carney admitted to being an acquaintance of Epstein when no such thing happened. Now in the quote above your you’re fabricating that Trump and Epstein didn’t have a direct connection when by Trump’s own admission (at the time) they were good friends amd their time together is well documented. Trump was Epstein’s house guest many times and vice versa. Epstein had 14 different phone numbers for Trump is contacts. That’s literally the definition of a direct connection The many photos of Trump and Epstein aren’t just candid images where they both happen to be in the frame (like that ONE image of Carney and Maxwell) they’re posting with their wives and their arms around each other. In t the Epstein tapes Epstein says the first time Trump slept with Melania was on his Lolita Express plane. Epstein attended their wedding. What definition of “direct connection” do you use that doesn’t count any of that? And no don’t keep lying by saying “ all the above goes for Carney too” because NONE of that goes for Carney. While this is true, if you’re good buddies with a pedophile and you late night party together for years and you have sex with women at his place all the time and you’re going around telling people “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side,” it sure sounds like you know something. And when you have the track record of paying porn stars for sex and lifelong infidelity to each of your 3 wives and multiple sexual assault allegations and defending Roy Moore’s appetites for young girls, it’s doubtful that you’re on some moral high horse about a good friend who likes underage teens. And let’s be honest it’s only very recently in our culture where teenage girls are considered children. Look at older movies even from 1990s and for most of history under age teen girls were often portrayed as tempting “forbidden fruit” that men should naturally desire but should resist if they want to be an upstanding citizen . So it’s completely fitting that someone of Trump’s age and character would be indifferent to it at the very least. That is a lie You did not provide any evidence of Carney knowing Epstein and his campaign admitted no such thing. For the hundredth time the ohot and Carneys very limited connection was about Ghislane Maxwell and years after Epstein was arrested. Carney wasn’t even rich or a VIP back when Epstein was out and about cavorting with Trump and preying on young girls, he was just a PHD student at Oxford and a bureaucrat in the Canadian government in those days so they wouldn’t have met LMAO is that a joke? Wow that just shows how twisted your brain has become. Carney is a normal looking, normal acting person. Trump is a fat obese man with a fake tan and fake hair whose bizarre appearance is widely mocked and only topped by his bizarre personality. And let’s not forget he is widely recognized as the most impulsive , undisciplined and ill-mannered leader in the western world and the leader of a movement that embraces and encourages a culture of vulgarity and crudeness. Seriously what are you smoking? So you believe the WSJ article? Or more conspiracy?
  16. Hey genius. The “wonderful secret” quote comes directly from the bawdy birthday card Trump wrote Epstein, which was reported in the conservative Murdoch-owned WSJ. Are you claiming it’s a lie?
  17. Your comment that I responded to was your doubt over the WSJ article about the “bawdy” birthday card . How do you know what they reported is not fact?
  18. You’re pathetic. I clearly said pictures with him with Epstein are fake. There are zero pictures of Carney with Epstein. No that is a lie. Stop lying. There is ONE picture of Carney and Maxwell attending the same concert almost a DECADE after Epstein was arrested and split with Maxwell, that’s it. No pictures with Epstein, no evidence Carney met Epstein Nope he never claimed he was an acquaintance of Epstein and there are no pictures. Stop lying When you’re asked to provide some kind words about a good friend and that’s the only thing you come up with that’s suspicious. I mean of all things Trump could have gone out of his way to volunteer about his good friend and its just a coincidence that his friend is soon afterwards revealed as a pedo? No. You are trying to minimize Trump’s well documented close friendship with Epstein that lasted nearly 2 decades as some sort of brief acquaintance where they occasionally bumped into each other unexpectedly and made small talk when it’s a fact that’s not the case. There are many photos and videos of the two and their wives enough each other’s close company and they each had the other as private guests on their planes and in the home and vacation homes….alll while Epstein was an active pedophile amd sex trafficker At the same time you are trying to exaggerate Carney’s brief encounter with Maxwell (not Epstein) at a public event, which occurred nearly a decade after Epstein was busted and she had split from him, as evidence that they are all good friends. Epstein is Carney’s-Wife’s-Sister’s-High School Classmate’s - Ex-boyfriend from a decade earlier You’re fabricating a direct connection between Carney and Epstein that never existed and telling lies about it See above. You’re the one telling lies and making ridiculous exaggerations That is all a lie. See my previous comments False. Zero photos and Carney said no such thing. Stop lying. That’s a fair comment but what I find amusing is that for the past 20 years that Republicans have been trying to associate Clinton with Epstein just because Epstein was a major donor to the Clinton foundation and made many public appearances with Bill. They wouldn’t even entertain the suggestion that someone who stepped in the same room as Epstein wasn’t also a pedo Now it’s become the mantra Republicans are desperately clinging to. Republicans did everything they could to stoke Epstein conspiracies and innuendo and now it’s boomeranged back on them. Reap what you sow. Live by the sword, die by the sword
  19. Finally! Canada getting rid of the useless Kingston Class MCDV ships! Looking forward to what the multi-mission Corvettes will bring to the table although AFAIK that project is just an exploration and hasn’t gotten the full green light to advance to procurement and we might see them replaced by drones and other capabilities instead RCN to Pay Off Kingston-class Maritime Coastal Defence Vessels In the fall of 2025, the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) will begin paying off the Kingston-class Maritime Coastal Defence Vessels (MCDVs). The term “paying off” refers to the British practice of paying a crew their wages once a ship has completed its voyage. In the RCN, the tradition continues with the term paying off referring to the formal ceremony where the naval jack, ensign, and commissioning pennant are hauled down, the crew departs a ship for the last time, and the ship is then no longer referred to as His Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS). This fall, eight of the twelve Kingston-class ships will be paid off during formal naval ceremonies to recognize and celebrate their long and distinguished service. These ceremonies will take place in Halifax for HMC Ships Shawinigan, Summerside, Goose Bay, Glace Bay and Kingston. Ceremonies in Esquimalt, B.C. will be held for HMC Ships Saskatoon, Whitehorse and Brandon. Canadian Multi-mission Corvette project has been created by the Department of Defence (DND) to replace the Royal Canadian Navy’s existing 12 Kingston-class MCDVs that are approaching 30 years of service. MCDVs are multi-role minor war vessels with a primary mission of coastal surveillance and patrol including general naval operations and exercises, search and rescue, law enforcement, resource protection and fisheries patrols. READ: Team Vigilance article to get an update on their offering to the Canadian government and learn more about the Vigilance-class vessel. READ: Feature Interview with Vice-Admiral Angus Topshee for updates regarding the CMC Project. The RCN’s four remaining operational Kingston-class vessels will consolidate under Canadian Fleet Atlantic in Halifax, N.S. As such, HMCS Moncton will remain based in Halifax, HMC Ships Yellowknife and Edmonton recently transferred to the east coast, and HMCS Nanaimo will transit to Halifax later this year. This will support current operational commitments, and efficient maintenance and crewing of the remaining Kingston-class vessels and the broader RCN fleet. While looking forward to the introduction of new, modern warships to its fleet, the RCN has a robust plan in place to facilitate this transition, while maintaining excellence in training and operational capability. There is no loss of capability for the RCN as a result of the divestment of the Kingston-class – their missions and tasks will be redistributed to other existing ships and assets, and taken on by new platforms, capabilities and systems being introduced by the RCN. https://canadiandefencereview.com/royal-canadian-navy-to-pay-off-kingston-class-vessels/
  20. Why? Because you WISH it wasn’t true? It was reported by a credible CONSERVATIVE news outlet owned by Trump’s good friend. All you have to base your disbelief on is Trump’s denial which of course he would deny.
  21. Justice Department Told Trump in May That His Name Is Among Many in the Epstein Files When Justice Department officials reviewed what Attorney General Pam Bondi called a “truckload” of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein earlier this year, they discovered that Donald Trump’s name appeared multiple times, according to senior administration officials. https://www.wsj.com/politics/justice-department-told-trump-name-in-epstein-files-727a8038
  22. LMAO!!! That was seriously the lamest pivot Ive see you do Lets recap: you originally trying to suggest Carney “and Epstein were good pals and party buddies for almost 2 decades,” which what I said about Trump. But what you’ve come up with for proof of your is that Carney and Maxwell (not Epstein) once were both attending the same event in 2013 and “barely know each other” I mean do you really think those 2 things are even remotely the same? Did you not take you meds today? So as point of fact Carney was not a “years long friend of Epstein” as Trump was nor even an acquaintance of Epstein from what we can tell He certainly wasn’t a “party buddy”. Which makes YOU the liar once again Then again you often make these RIDICULOUS claims and then call other people a liar when they debunk them And you post articles as “proof” that directly contradict what you’re claiming That’s your M.O. And yes your right wing propagandists did attempt to circulate deepfake images of Carney with Epstein which is what I was redee to because even I gave you more credit than to pull off this lame stunt with the Maxwell pic
  23. LMAO nope sorry! Those were all obvious AI deepfakes that conveniently appeared on anonymous social media accounts during the election and have been debunked as if that was even necessary. Were you seriously fooled by those? What’s amusing is that for years the Republicans tried to push a Clinton-Epstein conspiracy theory on the basis that Epstein was a major donor to the Clinton Foundation and the two had lots of public appearances together. Even though there was never any record of them socializing in private even a public appearance according to Republicans was enough to cast suspicion. Meanwhile Trump was not just another person who met Epstein. In fact nobody was closer to Epstein than Trump. In 2002 he told New York Magazine: “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.” Sure sounds like he knew something. And then there’s this: Jeffrey Epstein described himself as Donald Trump’s “closest friend” and claimed intimate knowledge of his proclivity for sex, including cuckolding his best friends, according to recordings obtained exclusively by the Daily Beast. The convicted pedophile even boasted of his closeness to Trump and his now-wife Melania by claiming, “the first time he slept with her was on my plane,” which was dubbed the Lolita Express. https://docs.house.gov/meetings/JU/JU08/20250227/117951/HHRG-119-JU08-20250227-SD006-U6.pdf
  24. Yea it is, as proven by the fact I named several and you could only come with one person who sexted a 15 year old which puts him in the Foley category but below the Gaetz sex with underage girls category or the serialized sexual abuse coverup Ken Starr and Jim Jordan category and the lifelong pedophile Hastert category
  25. But it’s true. Foley is only one. What about former speaker of the house Dennis Hastert, an admitted lifelong pedophile. Let me repeat that : the speaker of the house, the most powerful republican in congress, was a lifelong pedophile. Roy Moore and Matt Gaetz loved underage girls. And those are just the pedos. If we look at sex offenders more broadly to include rapists and sexual assaults against women there’s a whole bunch more. Back to the point of the OP let’s summarize all the Epstein-GOP ties: Trump and Epstein were good pals and party buddies for almost 2 decades, spending significant amounts of time together on epstein’s island, on Epstein’s plane, and at both of their homes in NYC and Florida. Epstein used prominent Republican lawyers including Ken Starr (of Monica Lewinsky fame) to get a sweetheart criminal deal from a Republican attorney general. Starr would later go on to cover up sex crimes at a university where he was chancellor and after all that Trump would go on to use Starr at his impeachment trial. Epstein was conveniently arrested and died under suspicious conditions while in Trump 1.0 custody. Meanwhile Trump continued to gush about what a great person Ghislane Maxwell is even after her conviction for sex trafficking minors. Then Trump 2.0 was elected and Virginia Giuffre an outspoken survivor of trafficking by Epstein conveniently commits suicide. Trump’s commerce secretary Howard Lutnick was Epstein’s neighbour in NYC and still owns the house he bought from Epstein. But Hilary did it.
