I do like muffins Not begging you just see no point in conversing with someone that spends as much time on a pointless Internet forum. I've been here over three years have 400 posts, you've been here two months have 2000. Why would I waste my time on someone who doesn't seem to have a life? I work, volunteer, play sports, engage in social activities etc.., you argue with people on an anonymous forum. In my experience people that have something to contribute to society do , those that don't spend their time trying to prove to random strangers how smart they are. Scare me? Please you're not even clever enough to get under my skin, pity would be the closest thing to my sentiments for you. But you keep being a keyboard warrior, I'll go actually live life. Sound good kiddo?

First of all thank you 1) I actually think foster care gives one certain advantages, knowledge of self, independence, etc... In some aspects I had a bigger network than many. I had multiple "parents" with different strengths and weaknesses I could learn from, not to mention all the professionals I saw psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, etc... 2) I've seen that. My take, money not earned is money easily spent 3)I'm definitely not humble, I have many skills others don't but at the same time lack many skills others have It was exceptional that I took issue with, i believe most reasonably intelligent people with a little bit of elbow grease can flourish in today's Canada

Hmmm ? Title written in the first person and the post just bashing Trudeau, maybe less reading comprehension and more poor writing skills. Forgive me for assuming you were poor, it's just with the time you spend on a pointless Internet forum picking fights lead me to believe your earning potential wasn't very high
-
I can of course only speak to my reality but Me exceptional? No. I'm a reasonably intelligent person who has worked very hard for what I have but started with nothing. Did I get a bit of good luck? Probably. Terrible? no. Lazy, often But I am a firm believer in life is what you make it, so for the most part people are where they deserve to be (excluding of course those without the mental or physical capacity to succeed)

You're now the second person I've seen on here blaming " voting Liberal" or Trudeau " for your poor financial situation Maybe get off your ass and work a little harder, make better financial decisions and stop expecting the government to take care of you ( though I do find it humorous that you're doing exactly what the right says the left does, ie needing gov hand outs) I'm in my late 30's, I'm a foster kid that was homelessat 15 and dropped out of highschool and I don't need anything from the government. I have my own home, run my own business and have made my own plans for retirement (at 55 if all goes well). But you keep telling yourself you're poor because of that meany Justin, hopefully I'll be walking down the street you're pan handling on and I can kick you down a few bucks of my hard earned money for you to eat

Northern Canada is an amazing place with some incredible people, it's so interesting to meet people from the same country that grew up with different traditions, history, spiritually etc... Than that of western Europeans And during the summer you can tee off at 9pm and still shoot 18 -

So you think your opinion trump's that of those who have spent their entire lives studying? You're not worth conversing with -

Like I said I spent some time up north (you chose to ignore this) and spent some time with the Dene they had oral traditions going back hundreds of years about migration , they told these stories to archeologists who went to the places they mentioned and found proof. Now that alone offers more scientific evidence then the entire bible -

You can believe anything you want do you have any scholarly support to these claims -

Hmmm so there's your opinion and my opinion, mine is supported by virtually all of credited biblical scholars Who said one was better? I was making a direct comparison between the two -

Well if you want to share the view only supported by the most fundamental Christians go ahead, but since we don't even know the actual authors of the gospels, hard to say who they "spoke with" particularly when some were written dozens of years after Jesus was crucified, go ahead. As one example the mikmaq used a symbolique language pre contact with Europeans -

First hand accounts? Quick question, are you a bible believing Christian or just haven't done any research on how we got the Bible? Other than Paul (and not even all of his letters are considered authentic) there are zero eyewitness accounts in the new testament, and that is according to scholarly consensus both Christian and secular -

First I said where he worked. Now if you decide that because you think you know how things were "in those times" is a more reasonable then a trusted persons first hand account. Power too you. Sounds kinda silly to me though -

I can only respond to your first point now as I have real life things to get to First you do realize many indigenous languages were never written right? The bible is written history? Well it is now but that's based on oral traditions For the old testament this is pretty easy to prove unless you think Adam or Eve wrote Genesis. The new testament is almost easier to prove Jesus and his crew spoke Aramaic ,the first gospels were written at best 30 years after the crucifixion in Greek(which is a different language) based solely on oral traditions they called creeds. Science has proven many of these stories to be pure fiction, well on the other hand many of the indigenous oral traditions have been authenticated by both anthropological and archeological studies. I lived and worked in the north west territories and was afforded the opportunity to sit on band councils. I took the time to try and understand their reality and did my best to study some of their culture -
Therefore by his logic you're smarter than every single Arab that can't speak Spanish fluently. Congratulations

Dude How can you call me delusional then explain my point exactly My point was to differentiate between spiritual claims and actual history of the First Nations. Maybe you confused me being wrong because you're illiterate -

I'm not sure I disagree. I was simply trying to explain the concept of "indigenous knowledge" in a vocabulary a fundamental religious zealot might understand. Then I just attempted to clarify that not all "indigenous knowledge" was supernatural, sometimes they were just about things like how, where and when to hunt I personally don't think any kind of spirituality should be used in politics
