They got no support, because classical liberal conservatism is not popular in Canada, and Canadians are knee-jerk anti-Americans who associate it with America. Canada is not America, that shit is a lot more popular south of the border. It's not rocket science, Canadians are suckers for central planning as the solution to everything, and that leaves classical liberalism conservatism well outside the overton window. Also Trump is an infinitely more charismatic politician than Bernier, and Trump panders to economic nationalists that Bernier spits in the faces of, so there's that too.

Like I said, if they had followed your strategy, it wouldn't have solved their current problems, that's just more Venezuela North. So wonder away, but your proposal fails to address the problem you want to solve. Centrally Planned Oil Refineries are not the answer, just more mismanagement, whether you refuse to accept that answer or not, you can't "Make Alberta Great Again" like that.
-
Doubling down on oil would not have saved Alberta. Building refineries is not diversifying. Government intervention is not the answer to Alberta's woes, and neither is tunnel visioning on oil. More central planning equals more mismanagement, not less, you are pushing them to be more incompetent and even more poorly managed with your proposals.

They've always been sell outs, from the beginning. They were never not sell outs. They are Liberals with a different name and different gang colors, fake opposition.

The Conservatives are simply Liberal Lite Cuckservatives. Scheer's entire campaign strategy was to pander to Blue Liberals in Ontario. Every time they get into power, they govern by caving in the face of never ending Liberal outrage, no matter how hard they cuck, see Stephen Harper, see Doug Ford. If you are unable to see the obvious, no amount of facts will convince you otherwise.

Yet far-left environmentalists like jacee want to undermine market forces, when it's actually their greatest ally. EnviroCommies will never learn, instead they will help prop up the very industry they claim to want to destroy with their far-left dogma instead. "One of the great mistakes is to judge policies and programs by their intentions rather than their results." - Milton Friedman

It was an obvious failure from the beginning. Classical Liberal Conservatism doesn't fly in Canada, they are just labeled as "White Supremacist Nazi's" by the media, and the rubes eat it up. The PPC was always merely a protest vote against CPC cuckery, that's how the party was born in the first place.

Yeah he's been reading your posts, only he missed the part about washing your hands of Canada and admitting the shotgun marriage can't work and has never worked. He thinks it would be best if this shotgun marriage can somehow be saved and strengthened, but otherwise we're on the same page with Gilmour.

Dougie calls himself an Anglo Pequiste, fyi. Canada is the nation that demands subservience to it's kneejerk anti-American nationalism, and refuses to openly discuss it's raison d'être, by shutting down that discussion via calling anyone who dares disagree with this elite consensus "White Nationalist Nazi's". When the debt bubble bursts and the free ride ends, that will be it's downfall. /shrugs

Our positions may not be popular among Canadians, but that is a badge of honor. All sorts of dumb sh*t is popular, what is popular doesn't necessarily speak to the quality of popular politics. What is popular in Canada will result in Canada being no more, which is great for Sovereigntists like us. Feel free to carry on with your Popular Prattle Parade, Canada, please do.

Name one sillier country. I will continue the good fight behind enemy lines of this joke of a nation. If you don't like it, suck it up buttercup, or continue the butthurt and prove my point. -

I like it just fine, Confederation simply reduces that enjoyment, aside from the lulz derived from their silliness, as does the misguided political beliefs of the Eskimo Communists who infest this city, province and country. F*ck Canada, and f*ck most Canadians. Hamilton and Ontario would be better off without them. -
I don't speak for Dougie, but I know what he's getting at, and his thoughts are very similar to mine on the subject, as he just confirmed. You might not be able to tell, but it's plain as day to me, not incomprehensible at all, you are just lacking in comprehension skills.
