Disapproving of one of his decisions doesn't mean they disapprove in general, or that many of them do. Don't let Mitt Romney fool you, most Republicans are behind Trump, his base is rock solid. The Democrats are far more divided than the Republicans. 4 Republicans condemned his tweets, that is not a sign of disapproval at all, and GOP warhawks disagreeing with Trump in a meaningless vote, for not being enough of a warhawk, is a meaningless gesture that has no impact on anything, pure virtue signaling. This is grasping at straws in a lame attempt to prove he's not popular with Republicans when he very clearly is, wishful thinking is a helluva drug.

If no one wanted to hear them, then the far left wouldn't have to show up to make sure no one can hear them. The entire reason the far left shows up is that people want to hear them and they want to prevent that, so they can maintain the delusion that no one wants to hear them. If no one wanted to hear them, no one would show up. Just because the far left doesn't want to hear them doesn't mean everyone else thinks like the far left on the matter, stop projecting your extremist views on everyone else jacee, you live in a bubble. Several people on this forum have indicated that they don't want people booed off the stage, that you want booed off the stage, so clearly your view that no one wants to hear them is all in your head. Then of course you move the goalposts, that the only people who want to hear them are people you don't like anyway, so no free speech for people they want to hear, and only free speech for people that you want to hear. The right is not allowed any public events to hear people speak that they agree with, only the far left is allowed that, and if any protesters you don't like happen to show up they need to be forcibly kept out, while if the right try to keep out left wing protesters it's oppression. Just admit it, jacee, you only want free speech for those who you agree with and want to silence those you disagree with, and you come up with lame justifications to pretend that when your side does it, it's totally cool, but when the right does it, it's only because they are filled with hate and need to be stopped. Blatant double standards are totally acceptable to jacee. If jacee thinks the cause is just, those with the "just cause" are allowed to do whatever they want, and if jacee thinks the cause isn't just, than those without a "just cause" have no rights and need to suppressed.

His support with Republicans is better than most Republican Presidents. Not a single Republican voted for formalizing impeachment, and two Democrats voted against it as well. The Democrats are far more divided than the Republicans. A few Never Trumpers the media likes to focus on, like Mitt Romney, doesn't mean many Republicans are condemning him. You just want to believe that Trump is more hated than he actually is, and so does the media and the Democrats, who's talking points you seem to accept as if they are gospel.

That's not it, more people on the right simply don't go to events they don't like, to ruin the good time of people who do like those events, while those on left go to shit they hate to rain on everyone's parade that they disagree with, because they feel they are the only judges of what is acceptable. The right supports free speech far more than the left, and they let other people enjoy things they don't far more than left as well. You've become the worst parts of the very groups you hate on the most, to the point where you are outdoing them and acting far worse than them on average, and you don't even realize it just like they don't, because of a false sense of moral superiority and a complete lack of self awareness.

Coalition governments don't get anything done, they fall apart quickly, and result is useless elections, that's why. It works better in Finland, but even there, you'd be better off with FPTP, you put too much faith in negotiation, and too much faith in democracy.

Thinking like woman doesn't make you a woman, and thinking like a man doesn't make you a man. You can be a man who thinks like a woman, and thinks he's a woman, without being transgender, and vice versa. This male brain/female brain thing is bullsh*t, it's gender dysphoria, it's a delusion, and while their brains might be wired in a way that makes it more likely to have that delusion, that doesn't actually make them a woman in man's body or vice versa. Actually transitioning to the opposite sex with surgery and hormone treatment often does more harm than good, even to adults experiencing gender dysphoria, it's a terrible way to treat it, and many regret the decision at some point in the future. There is a reason that so many transgender individuals commit suicide, and it has little to do with how the rest of society treats them, and everything to do with their own mental issues, that aren't fixed with hormones and surgery. Jews in death camps were treated far worse than transgenders and never committed suicide at the rates of transgenders, not even close, despite having far more reason based on how the rest of the world treated them. It's not everyone else who is the problem, it's their own mental state that is the problem, their perception doesn't line up with reality, and they have a persecution complex not justified by their surroundings in the vast majority of instances.

Your inability to grasp the big picture leads to silly analysis of other poster's positions. You have to be hand held through things that are obviously connected and even then you never get it after it's explained to you.

If a white kid insists he's black, has tantrums because his skin is white, are the parents just to support "their choice" too and pretend he's transracial? Sometimes the kid should not be supported to make choices that clearly fly in the face of reality. The kid feeling something strongly doesn't make them correct, or make it a good idea to support their delusions. Kids grow out of things all the time, pretending they are capable of making a choice as important of what gender they will "feel" like for the rest of their life from an early age makes no sense whatsoever.

The majority is not responsible for the minority not feeling accepted in this instance. It's all in their heads, they have a persecution complex, regardless of how accommodating people are to them, they will simply move the goalposts and demand more special privileges or else you're "transphobic". No one is entitled to being accepted, that is not a privilege anyone of any sex enjoys, and just because the tranny's aren't granted a special privilege no one else has, that doesn't mean the majority is out to get them, it means they are being treated like everyone else and they can't handle it, so they are just demanding special treatment, like they are better than everyone else and should be treated as such. They don't want equality, or they wouldn't demand special treatment, and cry "inequality" if you don't support them getting that special treatment. They are just trying to guilt you into caving to their needy behavior. Stop projecting how you feel onto how everyone else should feel, and if they don't, it's just because of a lack of compassion.

Why should a large group of people be made to feel uncomfortable in the bathrooms and changerooms, just to make 0.2% of the population feel more comfortable in them? Doing more harm than good in the name of "compassion" for the fail, clear example of half baked thinking. The status quo utilitarian system works far better, if it ain't broke don't "fix it" by replacing it a system that is broken and is as far from utilitarian as it pretty much gets.

Plenty of kids outgrow that feeling, and yet you are advocating for permanent changes to their development because of a feeling that might not stick. Even if most kids won't change their minds, plenty do, and the "solution" causes permanent change that can't be undone, so maybe that "solution" isn't very good. If they are going to transition, it's better to wait until they are an adult, kids go through phases, anyone who wants to act like gender identity issues are never a phase ever, are clearly denying reality.

Why do the sellers deserve death at the hands of the state and not the buyers? They aren't forcing anyone to abuse anything, they are selling them a product that they are free to use as they see fit, it's not the sellers fault if they misuse or abuse that product.

The world is not overpopulated, your Malthusian nonsense is not a good excuse for you to control what other people put in their bodies. Selling drugs to kids, sure, that should be illegal. Adults? Hell no, it shouldn't be illegal. They can decide on their own what to put in their body, if you don't approve, too bad for you, you don't get to have someone kill them with sanctioning of the state because of it. That's important because Democrats want to ban free speech and guns. It's not about abortion, it's about constraining the Democrats dumbest legislation even if they are in charge, for decades. No far left ideology in legislative form being rammed down the throats of Americans, it will be struck down by the SCOTUS if they even try. If you don't get why that's important, maybe it's because you are speech banning gun grabber, or you somehow think federal abortion rights are a more important issue, than stopping the far left from trying to ruin America. /shrugs

We need a mindset that most government spending is waste, so enough of the high taxes to pay for never ending government handouts to everyone with a sob story. Without the government to bail everyone out if they just whine enough about their problems, perhaps they'll learn more from their mistakes and start spending more responsibly. Being frugal with your own money can pay off in the long run, if you don't take it too far. But if you spend like a drunken sailor with other people's money and they do the same, it's a lot harder to get ahead.

Latin American fiscal conservatives, that's a laugh, not many of those, and most of them are in Chile. Bunch of commies in Latin America that are all for high taxes and government spending. They might be so poor and not be able to spend that much as a result, but they certainly do not support fiscally conservative governments, and if they had the money, they'd spend it, they just don't have it. Yet they still demand the government take a lot of the little they do have in the name helping the poor, while actually keeping them trapped in poverty with their socialist nonsense.
