How much refugees are costing us
Yzermandius19 replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Impeachment is backfiring on Democrats, just as it backfired on the Republicans when they impeached Clinton, that's what I call winning. He won the 2016 election, and he's going to win the 2020 election, yet apparently him being a lucky idiot explains that? Nah luck alone cannot account for that, skill has to be involved, no one is that lucky, luck can only account for so much of his success, nowhere near all of it. Trump being mistaken for a lucky idiot is a big part of why the Democrats keep losing, they keep assuming his luck will run out, but it's not just luck, so they play right into his hands thinking he's just being dumb, even when he's not, due to wishful thinking. Chronically underestimating Trump is not a good idea, especially if you are his political opponent, pro tip. -
It was a good day for Trump, Sondland had no evidence that Trump ordered him to tell the Ukranian's it was quid pro quo, he just guessed that was what Trump wanted. The Dems were looking to hang their hat on Trump having ordered Sondland to tell them that, when he told him the exact opposite. Now their star witness came up a dud, and they have to hang their hat on impressions based on hearsay and speculation.

If they disagreed, they know nothing about guns either. There could have been a lot more killed, if the killer didn't spray and pray. -

Then why does he keep winning? Luck alone cannot account for all of the winning, no one is that lucky. -

Good luck proving that. Good luck proving there was official subpoena's too. Schiff lying about it, is not proof and neither is any other partisan democrats lying about it. -

Not obstruction on Trump's part, obstruction on the subpoena'd witnesses part. You have no such evidence though, so good luck finding it. You fell for Schiff's ruse, because you want to believe those arguing against Trump have as much credibility as possible, when that is not the case at all. -

The GOP has been talking about it, you just haven't been listening, because you don't want to hear the other side. You're in bag for the Democrats, and only want to hear about how Trump is doomed, so you tunnel vision on only the Democrats claims, you don't even know the claims the other side is making, because that might make you doubt that Trump is doomed. -

How about citing people refusing to testify under official subpoena's? You have no proof. Schiff saying it's obstruction of justice, does not make it so, you taking his word for it, is a clear sign you are in the bag for the Democrats. Schiff cites no evidence of people not testifying under official subpoena's, in fact, he is the one obstructing the subpoena's of witnesses the Republicans want to call, not the other way around. Schiff is in charge of the subpoena's, if he wanted to compel the witnesses to testify, he could, he just doesn't want to, while claiming it's the Republican's obstructing because he made a show of unofficially asking them to testify while not having balls to officially subpoena them, and you fell for it. -

They issued no subpoenas to the people who didn't want to testify, they asked a bunch of people to testify, and chickened out of making it official in many cases, so those witnesses told them to actually subpoena them or f*ck off. Trashing someone in a tweet is not witness tampering, that is your dumbest point yet, and that's saying a lot. You will just grasp at all the straws and move the goalposts constantly, anything to try and get Trump. Obvious TDS is obvious. When your key points don't work, you just bring out any garbage and throw it against the wall to see what sticks, acting like because there is so much garbage to throw is evidence of wrong doing in and of itself. Pathetic. -

Prove he obstructed justice. People not having all the documents they wanted is not obstructing justice. Talk about moving the goal posts, when all other accusations fail, claim he obstructed justice. -

Doesn't matter how many people speculate it, it's still speculation and not evidence. The fact that you think it is, just goes to show the straws you will grasp at to bash Trump. -

Speculation, not evidence. You having no other explanation, is not evidence of anything other than you putting your head in the sand, and not wanting to hear the explanations provided by many witnesses in this investigation. They can come up with other possibilities other than the one they think is most likely, why can't you? Not a single one of them has said that their opinion is anything other than their opinion, not a single one of them has said they have evidence that it was all about Biden's with Trump, they admit it's speculation on their part, so why can't you? -

He said that contact with President did not result in the President telling him there was a quid pro quo based solely on investigating the Biden's, just the opposite. Opinions of others testifying, which is also just opinions, is not evidence. The Whistleblower only has his opinions and the opinions of others with no direct knowledge to go on as well. It's all opinion based on speculation and no real evidence whatsoever. You think opinions are a smoking gun, because you have Trump Derangement Syndrome. Not a single witness has based their information on anything Trump told them, people in fact have opinions contrary to all the conversations they had with Trump. When they brought up their concerns directly to Trump in conversation, he told them those concerns were unfounded. -

Weapon is fast firing semi auto when modified. Spraying a crowd is ineffective, single aimed shots are much more effective. You can replicate the function of a bump stock with a belt loop. What are you going to do outlaw pants? -

Yzermandius19 replied to Cannucklehead's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I already said that. You said nuh uh, now you are agreeing with me. Rapid firing like a full-auto, isn't full auto, it's fast firing semi-auto, the gun is not transformed into a full-auto. -

Trump said to Sondland that he didn't want anything. It doesn't matter if you can think of no other credible reason for the aid to be suspended, even though Sondland said it could was about 2016 interference and corruption, and he didn't even suspect that it MIGHT involve the Biden's until after he heard the phone call. Even if there was no other credible reason, without proof that was the reason, of which there is none, it's all speculation and zero evidence. If you want to impeach the President based on speculation of an ambassador, good luck with selling that to the American electorate, that might fly with desperate House Dems, but that won't fly in the Senate, or in the court of public opinion. -

That wasn't about the aid, that was about a White House visit. That's total nothing burger, unrelated to aid. Lots of reasonable people have come to a different conclusion, speculation is not evidence. -

Yzermandius19 replied to betsy's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Wrong. He testified he got no clear answer why the aid was withheld. All he has is a guess why it was withheld, total speculation. Even when he completely torpedoes your narrative, you still think it's a smoking gun. Hilarious. He even testifies that Trump told him directly that didn't want anything, wasn't about a quid pro quo. All he has is speculation that he thinks it was about that, no proof whatsoever. -
Boom, Sondland says him believing the holding up aid was about the Biden's was just his own impression, he never got a clear answer from the administration at any point in time, so he's just guessing. His guess is as good as anyone else's, he's got hearsay and speculation, yet he's the star witness. Lulz what a clown show, only Giuliani throwing Trump under the bus can save you now Demohacks.

California school shooting

That's not how it works, the trigger gets pulled hundreds of times, there is no holding it down and it firing 800 rounds in a minute. You do know nothing, all you know is you can waste a lot of bullets in a short amount of time. Whoop dee doo Basil, that doesn't make it full-auto. Nor does it make spray and pray the strategy that kills the most people, full-auto firing like rates achieved by bump stock ain't shit, it's for suppressing fire, not killing the most people in the shortest amount of time. Aim is more important than wasting bullets to shoot quicker, the shooter is more important than the gun or it accessories, who knew? Cannucklehead sure doesn't have clue. The shooter could have killed far more people firing single aimed shots, him using a bump stock and firing in extended bursts saved lives and alerted people to it being gunfire a lot quicker, he should have stuck to original strategy is he wanted to maximize kill count, not go spray and pray. Yet you'd rather fearmonger about useless bump stocks as if they make shooters so much more dangerous, proving your ignorance. -

That is precisely how it works. It bumps the firearm back and forth so that your finger hits the trigger faster. It does not turn a semi-auto into a full-auto. From your own link, which you did not even read apparently, thinking it somehow confirmed you were right and I was wrong, when it did the exact opposite: Heed my advice. You know nothing about guns, yet you insist on banning things you know nothing about, thinking that posting links you don't even read makes you well versed enough to make a decision, when it clearly does not. Learn a little about a thing before you call to ban that thing, especially when you want to infringe on constitutional rights, at the very least.
