The team is not functioning, the whole is much lesser the sum of it's parts. One province goes through transition and other provinces bribe it into reliance on a broken country. Dude is in seventh place, with little time to make up ground. This is Captain Stop and Frisk trying to win a Democrat primary in 2020 dude, Bloomberg is dead on arrival. He could spend his entire fortune on this Democrat primary run, and he'd still lose.

How is running an incumbent POTUS with a booming economy a strategic mistake when not one of Dems can beat him and the Republicans are on the verge of a 6-3 SCOTUS? That makes no sense. Biden has baggage sure, but being a far lefty is even more baggage, fresh face or not.

Bush didn't endorse McCain until March 2008, didn't endorse Romney until May 2012. Nothing special about the way Obama is waiting to endorse candidates he clearly supports either, he just doesn't want to risk supporting a loser and diminishing the value of his endorsement, when he endorses the eventual winner. Doesn't want to be seen as interfering in the primary race either.

The media wants to make a mountain out of molehill because they have nothing else to talk about. Biden not getting an endorsement from Obama yet is not a big deal, don't listen to media saying it is, they are just trolling for page clicks.

Obama didn't endorse Clinton until it was obvious she couldn't lose either, in June of 2016 and she was his Secretary of State! She was an even bigger frontrunner than Biden ever was. So if Biden is clearly going to win, expect a June 2020, give or take a month or two, endorsement from Obama. Obama not endorsing Biden yet is to be expected.

Obama is just waiting until he knows who the nominee is going to be, he's not going to risk endorsing a loser.

His time has passed to become POTUS, that window was 2008, unfortunately he ran into stiff competition in the primary instead of a weak field, but he would have beaten McCain or Romney if he had won the primary. Running against incumbent Trump is not a good opportunity. Don't think he would have beat HW Bush in 1988 either, he would have done better than Dukakis though, that was a pretty bad screw up on his part, even though he still would have lost.

If he can't beat these chumps, that's just sad. Ain't going to get any easier than this for Biden, and it's his last kick at the can. If he can stay out of his own way for a little while longer, he's got this, if he can't he'll get embarrassed again.

The competition was stronger then, it isn't now. Biden wasn't Obama's VP then, he is now. Just drop the "a white knight will enter the race and will save the Democrats from Biden" theory, not going to happen, it's a pipe dream. Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and The Rock aren't going to run. The media simply has nothing interesting to talk about, so they grasp at hyping up that angle as a lame attempt to keep people interested in the race. Even to the point they baited that dumbass Bloomberg into entering the race when he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell, what a sucker.
