  1. No they couldn't, it's too late to come in now. The Rock could do it, but the others aren't good enough to pull it off with such a short runway.
  2. Of course not, but it's easier to win the nomination if you've been the frontrunner for this long and at this point in the process than it is to come from behind against such a frontrunner and win. The only outlier since 1972, is Obama beating Clinton, and that's because he was Obama, there is a reason no one else has done it.
  3. Being a frontrunner, for as long as he's been the frontrunner, is not a bad thing, especially this late in the game. None of the other frontrunners were frontrunners as long as Biden, except Clinton, and there is no Obama in 2020 to stop Biden like there was for Hillary in 2008. You have one example of a frontrunner this durable losing, and it's a clear outlier. Being a frontrunner for this long, and at this point in the game, is far more important to actual American voters, than you think it is.
  4. Some frontrunners losing is not grounds to write off Biden.
  5. That's because Obama stole Biden's voters. Bernie had no one to split the vote with. It was not because he was more charismatic.
  6. Lots of supposed political experts keep writing him off, despite him being the frontrunner, and it's completely unwarranted.
  7. Agreed. But this field has even less charisma than she had, that's how weak this field is, and people are still trying to pretend Biden is doomed.
  8. Bernie Sanders is not charismatic. He has a small hardcore base of supporters, and no appeal outside that, Biden has appeal beyond his base, and it's a larger base. If it was Biden and Clinton one-on-one in 2008, he would have done better against her than Bernie Sanders did in 2016.
  9. Indeed. Obama's VP is enough to give him a higher floor than Bernie or Warren's ceiling. How fired up your base is, doesn't matter if your base isnt that big.
  10. Never said he was, just said he's more charismatic than his competition, this time around, because the competition sucks.
  11. Hillary Clinton is more charismatic than anyone in the 2020 Dem field. /shrugs
  12. The Bernie Bros are not a big enough base to win, and neither are Warren's fans. Biden's base is bigger, his floor is higher than their ceiling.
  13. One of the reasons he can win without it is his competition has even less of it than he does.
  14. Fringe far lefties don't need to be fired up is not as important as not alienating the center. Biden is more charismatic to everyone who isn't a far lefty.
  15. It's easy to get a real small group fired up, it doesn't translate to winning over enough voters to win an election though.
  16. I don't want Biden to prevail. Firing up fringe far lefties is not charisma. Having a small vocal fan base doesn't win elections.
  17. That has nothing to do with charisma.
  18. No one in Dem field has charisma, it's all relative to your competition. As usual you are too busy evaluating Biden in a vacuum, instead of against his competition.
  19. Warren and Sanders have no charisma. Biden has more of it than them. More vocal far lefties supporting them doesn't make them more charismatic.
  20. None of them are doing impressive enough in fundraising to close the gap with Biden, so it's not hurting as much as it would if that was the case. Biden strengths in other areas are too much for a gap this small to overcome.
  21. Wrong. Trump didn't have the money in 2016, got outspent 2 to 1, but had the charisma, and won. If money was the most important, Jeb Bush would have won the 2016 Republican nomination, not Trump. Biden has more charisma than the rest of the Dem 2020 field, and the money deficit isn't wide enough to bury him, in fact it isn't even wide enough to make him not the frontrunner.
  22. The DNC is going to be broke whether they run Biden or not, not running Biden will not save them from that. Trump will still out raise them significantly, regardless of who they pick. This is just as good of a reason to not run any non-Biden candidate, than to not run Biden, so that isn't going to be what sinks Biden. If Biden sinks, it will be for other reasons than this.
  23. It is why they eat up the multicultural nonsense as eagerly as they do, it plays into their smug sneering snob impulse to virtue signal about putting every culture that isn't British on a pedestal, so they can look down their noses with a false sense of superiority at those who don't. Brilliant propaganda tailor made for priggish Canadians to gobble up in order to fill the vacuum created by erasing Canadian history.
  24. He can get the necessary fundraising done, even when he's not, he's still the clear frontrunner. Imagine what happens if he just wins two of the four states heading in Super Tuesday, and what happens after he cleans up on Super Tuesday when most of the voting takes place in territory where he has a massive advantage. That will certainly give him enough cash to get to the finish line of the Dem nomination at least. There is no white knight that is going to enter the race and raise so much more money than Joe Biden that Democrats will dump him just to get their hands on it. This is not a thing that is going to happen. The only way to take Joe Biden down, is to take his mantle of electability from him and cut into his support with black voters, you can't buy that with money, especially if you are Captain Stop and Frisk. If Bloomberg threw $50 billion into his Dem primary campaign, he couldn't buy that.
  25. The rich lefty bastards aren't impressed with any of the other candidates either. So Biden isn't going to lose because they are slow to jump on the train. the GOP/RNC are kicking all the Democrats asses, and they will kick Bloombergs ass too. Bloomberg is not the Democrat's white knight, be real.
