  1. I keep saying that because you prefer to view reality as you wish it was, instead of how it actually is, and then asking why it can't be the former instead of the later. Then when people explain to you why it can't be that way, you put your head in sand and ignore reality because it doesn't conform to your wishes. Talk about annoying.
  2. It is. But it's not working, and it's helping motivate the public to engage in counter-productive behavior that actually enhances the panic and increases the health issues that could arise. Backfire City, the more they do this, the higher the chances of it getting as bad as they imagine in their heads, self fulfilling prophecy style.
  3. Rome wasn't built in a day. Wanting to come up with something quicker, does not make it so. Wishful thinking is a helluva drug.
  4. Which is why flattening the curve is such a stupid wishful thinking meme. Slowing the spread of the virus among low risk populations reduces the speed at which herd immunity is acquired and it increases the amount of viral generations by stretching out the length of time the virus sticks around, which increases the chances of mutation, which is the only way this virus actually gets really bad.
  5. Wishful thinking is a helluva drug, we don't know that shutting it down early was even possible after it broke containment, no matter what measures were taken. They are plenty incompetent now, not as incompetent as China, but plenty incompetent nonetheless. Denmark seems to have the right idea, and the UK is also doing better than most, but most nations are totally incompetent and caving to panic monkey's left and right.
  6. They are really that incompetent. Even if they were competent, that wouldn't save anyone unless they contain it in it's early stages, if that is even possible, which we don't even know that it was.
  7. It doesn't piss China off at all. China is no position to do anything about it, even if it did.
  8. Calling it the Wuhan Flu is not as big of deal as think it is. Pompeo is doing a great job.
  9. Mike Pompeo is doing a great job.
  10. It is the Wuhan Virus. Next you're going to saying calling H1N1 1919 the Spanish Flu is racist, clown.
  11. It's literally the opposite. China is not 10 feet tall, they are a paper tiger. America would f*ck their sh*t right up.
  12. Catching Eskimo Communism is far worse than catching COVID-19, Dougie Knows. Thankfully Dougie has acquired herd immunity to the former though, but dealing with the infected is lame.
  13. Virtue signalling might make the virtue signaler feel better, but it accomplishes nothing. You want to do more business with China's competition? That's a good idea, but it certainly isn't going to make China change it's ways, Canada and Canadians simply do not have the leverage to accomplish that, you just wish they did.
  14. Canada is not in a position to punish China in any meaningful way, especially without punishing itself. Wanting to make China pay doesn't mean you have the ability to make them pay.
  15. There wasn't a coordinated international response because China didn't tell anyone for over a month, and muzzled anyone in China who sounded the alarm. By then the genie was long since out of the bottle.
  16. The panic is far more dangerous than The Boomer Remover. The reaction to the problem is a bigger problem than the original problem, beware the SIFCLF panicmongers and the governments that pander to them. Exploit their stupidity where you can.
  17. A poorly coordinate temporary shutdown that jumps the gun by months, doesn't stop a pandemic, and does more damage by crashing the economy than the virus can do on it's own. You can't keep things closed down forever, and going too early is disastrous because it leaves you less able to weather a shut down when it actually makes sense to resort to that. This is what you are supporting, because you are in a panic and not thinking clearly.
  18. Nothing. What's wrong is your tunnel visioning on protective measures that aren't near the top of the list of precautions as if they are by far the most important precautions to take, and your knee jerk support of draconian measures shutting everything down is also lame.
  19. Wrecking the economy for nothing can be very profitable for some, if you're hedged right. That doesn't make it a wise idea for everyone to panic and destroy the economy for no good reason though.
  20. What would happen to panic monkeys if Bojo limits deaths and the overreacters in Canada and the US have the same or worse death rate despite the draconian crack downs? They'll have wrecked the economy for nothing.
  21. Trudeau's response is getting worse as he caves more and more to panic monkey's, not better.
  22. They protect the people not wearing them, not so much the person wearing them. Good for health care workers, a waste of resources for the general public especially during a shortage. Washing your hands and wearing gloves in high risk areas is still more effective than the N95 masks. Gloves > Masks
  23. At least they are over-reacting less than most of the western world, I'll give Trump and Trudeau that, but they are no Bojo.
  24. Yeah, they should follow the lemmings right over the cliff, sounds like a great idea.
