Your faith in the competence of government is misguided, especially the Chinese Communist Government. It is very easy to see the government being that incompetent, especially when it's China.

The Rockefellers vastly overstate the few benefits of authoritarianism while downplaying the huge negatives. Their love of the Communist Chinese system of governance is straight up revolting, a morally and economically bankrupt position.

The Rockefellers are Chicom Sympathizers too, have been for decades. Many elites don't want competition, it threatens their ability to maintain their status, hence why the preference for authoritarian solutions.

The CBC are Eskimo Communist Chicom Sympathizers, who knew? See what I mean about Canadians being knee-jerk reactionaries against freedom while singing the praises of authoritarians? Canadians are not pro freedom, they are pro nanny state, don't project American values on Anti-American Counter-Revolutionaries.

As are the vast majority of bureaucrats. Straight out the frying pan and into the fire, your relief and faith in bureaucracy is misguided.

Most Canadians are like that on steroids. You hate freedom, and they hate freedom, they aren't going to oppose the nanny state if they demand they shelter in place and neither are you. You'll whine, virtue signal and blame Trudeau, but you aren't going to actually buck the rider, and neither will Canadians.

And most Canadians are vastly more authoritarian than you are. They cling to government as their nanny state savior and despise liberty as an existential danger to their beloved nanny state. Thinking Canadians will stand up to tyranny is a laughable assertion as they openly embrace tyranny even during the best of times, but that is especially true during a situation like this.

Confusing Canadians for libertarians who hate authoritarianism is a comical misreading of their values and attitudes.

That's because you misguidedly project American values on Canadians who are knee-jerk Anti-Americans. Canadians widely support tyranny against such values, they are authoritarian, not libertarian.

A laughable assertion. Freedom from liberty, is not freedom, that's Orwellian bullshit.

People were flying in from China before Trudeau even knew about the virus, the damage was already done. This is on China, not Trudeau.

Irrelevant, by the time the Chicoms finally admitted to the world that there was human to human transmission of the virus, it was already too late for Justin Trudeau to stop it. Blame The Commies for bungling the response and covering it up, enough of the Trudeau Derangement Syndrome, this is totally on China.

The Chicoms caused it, not Justin Trudeau. If the government orders you to shelter in place, they aren't going to care how much distance you keep or how few lives you put in danger on your little fishing trip, doing whatever you want will come with consequences, they will make an example of you.

Something tells me that the courts are going to come down a lot harder on you than they will on Justin Trudeau.

I don't expect them not to go to war, SIFCLFs gonna SIFCLF. It's just that going to war is simply going to make shit worse in the name of "ZOMG DO SOMETHING!!!", even if that something is counter-productive.

The government will overreact in the face of a panic and do more damage than the virus, who knew? If the government really wanted to protect people, instead of just seeming like they want to protect people, then panicking like the rubes is not the way to do it.

The panic is more dangerous than the virus at this point, at least to the non-elderly with no underlying conditions.

Even in Italy, apparently 99% of the people dying from Covfefe-19 are old and/or have underlying conditions. This virus is picking very few strong locks at this point.

Compare Trump to any of the Democrats running for POTUS, he's more conservative, by several orders of magnitude. Joe Biden is not more conservative than Donald Trump just because he's more electable than Bernie Sanders. Even the so called moderate Democrats these days are far less conservative for Trump, you can't even name a Democrat who is more conservative than Trump right now.

I admit my partisanship, it's the Trump Haters who refuse to do so. If you attack the way a politician speaks, that's weak sauce, if you think that ace material, your priorities are f*cked.

Then you aren't paying attention to the Democrats. If you compare Trump to the Democrats, and you think they are more conservative than he is, then you're a fake conservative. Just because you don't like Trump doesn't make the Democrats better than him or more conservative than him.

A New York Liberal who hijacked the Republican Party is still more conservative than the Democrats these days, by several orders of magnitude, that's how far out in left field the Democrats are right now. Obvious lesser of evils to a real conservative is obvious.
