Did Trudeau Fail His Country On Covid-19
Yzermandius19 replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Overreacting to unimportant shit counts as well. You might think otherwise, but you are blinded by hatred of the man, if you acknowledged your bias instead of ignoring it like it doesn't exist, you'd stick more to the better critiques and wouldn't be grasping at straws as often. Put down the kitchen sink, stop throwing anything you can against the wall, and use the good ammo. Or you are simply empowering Trudeau like Democrats empower Trump with the same counter-productive strategy, pro tip. -

Like staying drunk to avoid a hangover, the longer you put it off, the worse it gets when it happens.
-
If FDR 2.0 takes the reigns, then sure. If not, most of the damage will likely be fixed a little quicker than that.
-
Those who don't already know that already are economically illiterate anyway.
-
It really isn't, and hoping that all the economic damage can be reversed within weeks or a few months is clearly yet another example of wishful thinking being a helluva drug.
-
Worrying about inflation in a deflationary spiral is just silly. That's a level of extreme fiscal conservatism that is clearly counter-productive.
-
The vast majority of those who blame Trump were never going to vote for him anyway, meanwhile many of those who don't blame Trump are swing voters. Democrats blame Trump you say? They would blame him no matter what his response was, so no big deal.
-
Yet his approval rating holds steady and most American's approve of how he's handling the situation. It's Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats who y'all should feel sorry for, blocking emergency spending bills because they don't have enough giveaways to the green energy sector, talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

Did Trudeau Fail His Country On Covid-19

You don't have to, yet you do, hence Trudeau Derangement Syndrome. The Trump Haters don't have to grasp at straws to attack Trump, yet they do, hence Trump Derangement Syndrome. Don't be like the Trump Haters and pretend you have no bias and are just judging Trump based on non-partisan objectivity, except with Trudeau, pro tip. -
Trump Vs Trudeau on Coronavirus

Not wanting to destroy the economy does not mean liking money more than people, nor does calling out people and governments for overreacting and making things worse. -

Dude you be grasping at straws all the time to attack Trudeau, you have Trudeau Derangement Syndrome nearly as bad as Trump Haters have Trump Derangement Syndrome. If you didn't have it, you'd be focusing on the best Anti-Trudeau material instead of throwing everything and the kitchen sink at him hoping it will stick, just like the Trump Haters do to Trump. -
Like I said, being a fan of America makes sense, supporting Genocidal Communists, not so much. False Equivalency.

When did I make the argument that licking a dollar is a good idea? Don't recall ever making that argument, must have been Iceni Cannibal's Strawman Yzermandias making that argument. -

So? It's an accurate description based on the current situation and it's a common saying, Trump isn't the first one to use the phrase, or the last. Trump isn't wrong about everything fool, you just think he is. -

I criticize him all the time, and when I do, my criticisms are infinitely better than his haters on this forum, because I'm not so blinded by hatred that I have to reach at straws to attack him. I never once pretended Trump was perfect, like the Haters would like to believe so they can dismiss my opinion out of hand.
-
When we have dummies around here pretending that China is greatest thing since sliced bread, and America is the Great Satan, it's not irrelevant at all.
-
False equivalency. It's not as weird because America is vastly superior to China, while China is run by Genocidal Communists and America is easily one of the best countries in the world to anyone who doesn't have America Derangement Syndrome.
-
I admit my own partisanship, those with Derangement Syndrome are incapable of seeing their own biases, that's the difference. They pretend their hatred is based on being unbiased, and refuse to admit their own biases.
-
They have different opinions than me, but that is not why I believe they are deranged. You can disagree and not be deranged, but their critiques are so asinine that they reveal the derangement. When buying into many stupid opinions all biased against a certain party, and it is clearly fueled by blinding hatred, that is Derangement Syndrome.
-
Those who hate America so much that think China is better, are clearly exhibiting signs of America Derangement Syndrome. Anyone whose hatred of America blinds them to many glaringly obvious realities that anyone who doesn't hate America can see very clearly, then they have ADS.
-
Or they lied, just like they lied through the entire process, and you're naive to trust that the virus went away, just because they say it did. North Korea says they have never even had one case came while South Korea was one of the hardest hit nations, do you believe them as well? Maybe we should all be copying the North Korean model then we'd all have zero cases and no deaths.

Trump Vs Trudeau on Coronavirus

Why would I rob myself of all those lulz? You have no sense humor, if a politician you don't like is being funny, very clearly. -

I think people's lives are more important than the economy too, or Trump's re-election. I simply disagree with the premise that not shutting down the economy means I put the economy or Trump's re-election ahead of people's lives, quite the opposite. I also disagree with the premise that the best way to save lives is to shut down the economy, that is in fact the worst way to do it and will result in net loss of life, womp womp. By ignoring the economic impacts of your policy proposals and miscalculating the health impacts, you advocate for a "cure" that is worse than the disease, while barely effecting the disease. Despite your good intentions, you are paving the road to hell and you aren't saving lives while you do it either. Not great, Bob.
