FACT CHECK Rebound pretends that Donald Trump is a rapist. PANTS ON FIRE PANTS ON FIRE PANTS ON FIRE. In reality, Donald Trump was convicted of defamation for calling a rape accuser a crazy woman. He never was accused of rape in his civil lawsuit in New York. Plus, a federal judge in Florida allowed Trump's defamation claim against ABC and George Stephanopoulos to proceed, based on the anchor's use of the term "rape" to describe the jury's verdict. SOURCE: https://www.msnbc.com/deadline-white-house/deadline-legal-blog/trump-defamation-abc-e-jean-carroll-verdict-rcna163499 So not only is Rebound wrong, but he could be sued for defamation for this statement in the State of Florida. For you, totally. But they are funded, and bigly. It's not for nothing. They work as intended, as the pedantic upper class Democrats refer to them as a source as these websites are as pretentious as them. Pure appeal to narcissism. It mobilizes them and gives them a sense as they have the 'true' opinion, whether or not these fact checks are right or wrong. The tone of all the fact checks is to make the reader think they are above everyone. Who fact checks the fact checkers by the way? Oh yeah... nevermind. We don't have to fact check those fact checkers as they only state facts, right?

Wait a minute here. I read a CBC article and it states; (https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/ontario-booze-changes-announcement-1.7058335) How is it comparable to Quebec? I can go across the street to the convenience store or the grocery store, and I will be able to get as much beer as I want/ In Ontario, it isn't the same. What in the world are you talking about? What is your point, to just argue to argue? Do you have anything else to do? The SAQ doesn't have the monopoly like the LCBO has in Ontario. You're so lost.

Trump shot at his own rally
QuebecOverCanada replied to QuebecOverCanada's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
With events like this, it's clear that it's going to invoke emotions on both sides of the spectrum. One thing I really didn't like to hear, including on this forum, were justifications for political violence. You may dislike Trump, but saying he deserved to be killed for having opinions contrary to yours is unjustifiable. Those who try to recuperate the event and make it a point toward Leftists from the get go also displayed a lack of class. It's not tomorrow that we will have a nuance, credible take on what happened yesterday. -

It's incredible that in this day and age, with all the information tools we have and all the technology that has advanced, we still have no consensus as to whom tried to kill Donald Trump and what was the motive. It seems like the version changes every minute. -

Biden makes a statement live. Biden condemns political violence and is willing to speak to Donald Trump tonight. -

... Ok so he is like Hitler according to this basement dweller and we should be ok with political assassinations because some basement dweller deemed that Trump was close to Hitlerian ideals... -

I read. There would be bad faith, we get it. Take a breath too. -

If it were a right winger, it would already be front news. Some rumours (unconfirmed, take it with a boulder of salt) point to an Antifa member. Ok there is violence on the left political spectrum. But this is preposterous. It's an expression, not a call to kill Donald Trump. -

Can we not jump on conclusions just yet? You may have the right intuition, but many people have killed celebrities because of mental issues in the past. I haven't seen a broad movement on the Left to incite the assassination of Donald Trump. -

Trump was evacuated after being shot at today apparently. -
We have been twenty years in Afghanistan. It's not like we quit at the 3rd period. It's like we were still there when the game was ended a generation ago when Mario Lemieux was still playing. There was no "job to be done". It was pointless; the Afghans truly supported the Talibans after all. It's their culture. Now name me one Middle East intervention that turned out well in the last 40 years.

1. Oil and gas are now extracted in the West, in safer, stabler countries as well as South America which develops itself well. Venezuela also has the biggest petroleum reserves in the World and are gradually opening to the international markets again and there have been dozens of discoveries worldwide that make the dependence to the Middle East wane a lot. 2. The Houthis practically blocked the Suez Canal. Boats get around it and nothing happened. It's at the crossroads of the trade between the East and the West, and it manages to be almost irrelevant. And it will become even more in the future, because regional instability will rise over time; yes, even worse than it already is. 3. Ok, and what does it provide to us? They destroy continually the cultural heritage built in millennia. We don't have to get involved to protect a monument or a structure. We are not in 1066 in the West. The Middle East is in the 900s. 4. Not wanting to die or sacrifice ourselves for lands 10000km away from us is not a lack of seriousness. It actually is a reasonable approach. The economical significance of this region is soon to be null. The security of this region is at the bottom, and it will dig its hole even lower. The cultural significance is worthless; even the locals themselves destroy each other at every occasion and want more destruction. We have been involved in the Middle East for so long. It's shown its results. No one wants to die to instill democracy for Iranian women or to protect an "ally" that continually back-stabs us (see USS Liberty incident among others). Let. Them. Have. It. I'm not going to support a war for the interests of the Saudi family or the rich in Tel Aviv.

Sounds about like the Mayor of Montreal. Always laughing inappropriately to try to defuse critics, while nothing of substance is being said. I would say that Kamala Harris and Valerie Plante share many things in common. Kamala Harris was raised in Montreal too and fortunately for us she left to go to the US after a while. Imagine them together... ouch.

1. Yes. And this situation enriches the business owners, as it's driving wages lower by bringing in more desperate people here. More supply of workers means lower salaries. I'm a right winger, but I'm not stupid. Marx was right all along when it came to the concept of the reserve army of labour. 2. Not quite. Unemployment statistics include only those who are actively seeking employment. It doesn't account for students and those who have dropped out of society. We are talking about 13.5% unemployment for that category, because the jobs that should be entry-level are now filled with desperate people, working for cheap, who don't know their rights and the duties of their respective employers. It's making a generation of young Canadians inexperienced at their expense, which leads to less social mobility and less earnings until retirement as a result. All for the benefit of the upper class. 3. That's a big issue. 90% immigrants in a certain field means that certainly this field pays peanuts, fitting for Walnutz. I have never seen one field labour-wise in Canada where when the immigrants make up most of the staff it's in the favour of the employees or the wages are higher than the average. It's almost always exploitative, low paying fields that resort to this kind of trickery to make sure they don't pay employees well. Call centers, farm jobs, some $18/hour rotating shift jobs at some factories, groceries, Tim Hortons... All that when once again, the ones at the top make bank on their misery. 4. Thank you. 6.4% unemployment is certainly hitting hard many Canadians, but it's an issue that can be resolved without resorting to exaggerations.

She has the Hillary Clinton syndrome. It's as if for her she should be the next president because it's what the people owe her. The entitlement is really demonstratable when it comes to her. She has no movement behind her, meaning that there are no grassroot movements in the nation to push ideas Kamala Harris is pushing, because there isn't much to her. She repeats whatever kind of slogans her donors impose her to say. She isn't senile. She's just throwing word salads everywhere she goes. A quick example; She doesn't come out as sincere, but a very over ambitious person that's here for herself and only herself. She doesn't speak to nobody except the typical burnt out corporate lady making 7 figures in Los Angeles and Manhattan.

1. Even if it had demand, it could be ill founded. For example, crying foul and whining about the unavailability of workers could be a pretext used by business owners to increase the number of workers to pit them one against each other and bring wages lower. It should be based on the unemployment rate in certain sectors. A rate below 3% in a sector could be a good benchmark for allowing temporary foreign workers for example. 2. Good on the left. 3. Sure, but grocery stores are based in Canada mostly, same as banks and financial institutions. Plus, you may not be the CEO but you may own multiple Tim Hortons' branches across Canada and still make bank on the fact that you're underpaying your staff. 4. Yes.
