  1. Classified 2016 email shows US diplomat warning of Hunter Biden deals in Ukraine A classified US State Department email from 2016 shows a leading diplomat warning that Hunter Biden’s lucrative job with a Ukrainian energy company “undercut” American efforts to fight corruption in the Eastern European country. The existence of the email was never acknowledged during several court battles over Freedom of Information Act requests that sought records related to business dealings involving the first son and his father, President Biden, said the Just the News website, which published the email in its report Tuesday. The report came one day after the New York Times sued the State Department for allegedly withholding emails and memos involving Hunter Biden and his former business associates that were sent to or received by officials at the US Embassy in Romania. In the Nov. 22, 2016, email, former State Department official George Kent, then the deputy chief of mission at the US Embassy in Ukraine, recounted a discussion in which he detailed the “saga” surrounding the graft case against Mykola Zlochevsky, a former Ukrainian natural resources minister and founder of Burisma Holdings, which paid Hunter Biden $1 million a year to sit on its board. https://nypost-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/nypost.com/2022/02/02/us-diplomat-warned-about-hunter-biden-ukraine-deals-in-2016/amp/?amp_js_v=a6&amp_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQKKAFQArABIIACAw%3D%3D#aoh=16439934392064&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&amp_tf=From %1%24s&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Fnypost.com%2F2022%2F02%2F02%2Fus-diplomat-warned-about-hunter-biden-ukraine-deals-in-2016%2F

  3. New York Times sues State Department over Hunter Biden-related emails The New York Times has sued the State Department to gain access to U.S. embassy emails mentioning Hunter Biden, President Biden's son, Insider reported Tuesday, citing court filings. The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Manhattan, requests access "to emails sent by officials at the U.S. embassy in Romania between 2015 and 2019 that contain keywords including 'Hunter Biden,'" Insider writes. Lawyers for the Times claim the State Department is stalling in responding to several Freedom of Information Act requests made by Times reporter Kenneth P. Vogel in June. Vogel had also asked for emails mentioning attorney Rudy Giuliani and Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of Hunter Biden. Vogel covered the president's son throughout the 2020 presidential campaign, often drawing ire from team Biden, adds Politico, who first reported the lawsuit's existence. One of the goals of the lawsuit seems to be "finding out whether embassy officials did any favors on behalf of private businesses (including, presumably, that of the president's son) that would raise questions about possible conflicts of interest and corruption," Politico writes. "As a routine part of their reporting, New York Times journalists regularly seek potentially newsworthy information from a variety of sources, including from the U.S. government through FOIA requests," a Times spokesperon told Insider regarding the lawsuit. "We're hopeful the government will promptly release any relevant documents, and as always we are prepared to pursue our request through a lawsuit if necessary." https://theweek.com/hunter-biden/1009663/new-york-times-sues-state-department-over-hunter-biden-related-emails
  4. I'm not an expert but in a mass grave, there would be still at least a bone to be found.
  5. What is adding go the oddness of the thing is the fact he has been a career politician - a successful one at that at winning - and then suddenly after more than 50 years of working as a politician, he finds the voting system not working as intended. A year and a half ago, he was elected as President and he advocated for the legitimacy of the result.
  6. In Kamloops, yes. And do you have a picture of the mass graves yet, or a picture of bodies?
  7. No body was found yet in the "mass graves" of Kamloops. They were soil anomalies detected by radar that were actually tree roots.
  8. The “discovery” meme arose from a scanning by ground-penetrating radar in a search for the remains of children already surmised to have been buried there. A preliminary report did not find bodies, but rather soil disruptions in a nearby apple orchard. No remains were exhumed, but First Nation Chief Rosanne Casimir stated that according to community “knowledge,” the soil abnormalities were 215 “missing children,” some as young as three. The anthropologist who oversaw the scans cautiously theorized that there were likely 200 “probable burials” — not specifying age — based on the disturbances. But only excavation could provide further evidence of anything, and no excavation has yet been done. But the story was too good to fact-check, and went viral, often with the trope “mass graves” substituting for “unmarked graves,” a distinction with an enormous difference, since “mass” graves are associated with genocide. https://www.google.com/amp/s/nationalpost.com/opinion/barbara-kay-what-we-dont-know-about-unmarked-graves-at-residential-schools/wcm/46b5edf0-409c-4a57-bb00-c86e07f1d35e/amp/
  9. Is Trump really the candidate of the people? --- Trump charges $250,000 for midterms forum – to boost his own Super Pac February event notionally focused on 2022 midterms Former president has amassed huge war chest of $122m https://amp-theguardian-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/amp.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/feb/02/trump-mar-a-lago-forum-february-event-republicans?amp_gsa=1&amp_js_v=a8&usqp=mq331AQIKAGwASCAAgM%3D#amp_tf=From %1%24s&aoh=16438999223290&csi=0&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&ampshare=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.theguardian.com%2Fus-news%2F2022%2Ffeb%2F02%2Ftrump-mar-a-lago-forum-february-event-republicans
  10. To respond to your post, no, I don't think Conservatives are rational and vote for the ideas only, there are also Conservatives who vote for candidates based on charisma and personality. But it self evident isn't it?
  11. Trudeau is... uh... the embodiment of substance... uh.
  12. I think he acts cringy especially in his self promoting ads (Poilievre), but he no where gets near Trudeau's level of cringe.
  13. Radical doesn't mean wrong on all things, for example Gandhi was a radical, same as Mandela or MLK, so were other political figures like Reagan, Thatcher, FDR, etc.
  14. Stephen Harper was Darth Vader too and was an excellent AAA Prime Minister.
  15. Pierre Poilievre should be the next Prime Minister of Canada.
  16. That's wrong. It moves the Overton window further toward what we desire and hyperbole is always used by those who win politically. Just like when the other side said if we were against the measures we were against the health of the population and wanted to kill other people's grandparents, the most radical and the most aggressive always wins politically. Sad but true.
  17. It is pragmatic to break apart a country in which a majority gets its money from hardworking provinces. It isn't pragmatic to force them to stay with a gun pointed at them. And no one will die for provinces to remain in this country. No one cares about a post national country with no identity.
  18. They would manage it like Newfies so I doubt it.
  19. So how come Newfies don't have the excellent budgets Western Provinces have, despite the incredible amount of resources? Mismanagement. South Korea has 0 resource almost and is way richer than a country like the Philippines.
  20. No one will die for the cause of keeping th Western Provinces in Canada. Just like no one wants to die because of Ukraine losing eastern territories to semi autonomous zones that are pro-Russian. I find that scenario demented with all honesty.
  21. Sure man. That's why Newfoundland has such a balanced budget. And so do Venezuela and Algeria.
  22. You switch the subject, because you think governmental inefficiency should be subsidized by the most productive. The reason Western provinces are richer is because they are generally better managed overall. Québec, Ontario and the Maritimes are not well managed and could be a lot richer without this governmental inefficiency that is subsidized by the taxes of the most productive provinces in the country. Do you know about the goose that laid the golden eggs? What happened after it was ripped apart because of greed?
  23. I think you should separate. You are paying way too much to us, and you are absolutely hated by us at the same time. Why would you stay in an abusive relationship? Trudeau and the Liberals hate you. The NDP hates you. The big cities elites hate you. The Maritimes hate you. You are being taxed to basically pay for our welfare. It would be beneficial for us as well, because we'll stop being so inefficient with your and our resources. I absolutely don't hate you by the way. I think you legitimately should get out.
