The Helsinki debacle
paxamericana replied to turningrite's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
As i mentioned, trade (import-export) of goods and services including the ones you listed are only 25 percent of our gdp. Services like healthcare, legal services, blue collar work, are not trade-able. As for the tech industry yes some of those services can be traded but they typically are not part of the tariffs of steel and aluminum... -
America has too many jobs!
paxamericana replied to paxamericana's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
My gut prediction and this is far from complex mathematical modeling on excel, is that you will see this continue well into the 2019 and beyond. assuming trump stays in office. -

Wrong! Look up economic nationalism and fill in the blank. Don't buy what the opposition media is telling you. -
America has too many jobs!
paxamericana replied to paxamericana's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Actually alot of the benefit you are seeing today is a direct result of Trump's economic policy and not Obama. The Tax cut helps, immigration restriction helps, recapitalization of overseas capital helps. Soon enough, the renegotiation on trade will help. Obama economic policies were only expected to reach 2.9 percent gdp growth, Trump is getting well into the 4 and maybe even 5 -
America has too many jobs!

I think she is missing the point. Wage is simple, its supply and demand. If you restrict the supply of cheap global labor then companies are forced to hire americans and thus when those position get filled then there is a decreasing supply of labour. Also with a growing economy you have an increase in demand for jobs from businesses. They are forced to pay more. Those other cost are also being worked on right now. Just wait and see. -
China surrendering
paxamericana replied to paxamericana's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The chinese objective is china 2025. They are trying to do that at an aggressive pace and that pissed off the rest of the world. What sources in china says is that there is internal struggle between reformist who wants to play by the rules and xi 2025 people. -

America has too many jobs!
paxamericana replied to paxamericana's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Because there's a push pull factor. Once the border is secured and fewer immigrants can get through you will have more jobs as the economy grows, as those jobs get filled there will be a shortage of labor, a decrease in the supply of labour with increase demand will eventually mean an increase in wages. Economics 101, supply and demand. Growth by itself does not cause inflation, increase in cost of living does. Take that end stage capitalism! -
Actually this is a lie stoked on by the globalist elites. Trump is anti-globalist and so they would portrayed him as anti social justice when in fact he's the most successful social justice warrior since abe lincoln. Serious, he's done more good for the minority and working class american than any president. Poverty doesn't discriminate, don't buy into identity politics the globalist are telling you. Also Trump while being a one per-center himself actually are working against them. See, by limiting immigration and forcing them to hire more american workers and raising their salaries he's cutting into their profit margins. You will actually see a more equitable income distribution through job and wage growth when you force the globalist to hire american and not export jobs overseas or use immigrants. Enough of social justice for ya?

The Helsinki debacle
paxamericana replied to turningrite's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
There we go with the fringe politics. Russia needs to rejoin the west. They desperately want to rejoin the west. There are enormous obstacle to rejoining the west. Trump is trying solve world problems whilst critics are trying to make more problem. The election medelling had a very small impact on our election because of the de-centralized nature of said election. Stop whining over a lost election. Start thinking about why you lost in the first place. Go back to grass root politics. Stop supporting a liberal globalist agenda that doesn't work for "deplorables". -
Look at the numbers! We have more job opening then workers to work those jobs! The good times are here. I wish we could help our little brother canada but oh well I guess they don't want to sign our trade deals to get these jobs.

The Great Immigration Debate
paxamericana replied to paxamericana's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Ah see that's what the globalist would tell you but trade does not have to be done globally, trade can take place internally. Look at the service sector. Why do you think that's the largest industry. -
The Great Immigration Debate
paxamericana replied to paxamericana's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I'm not anti capitalist , I believe in free trade but I'm also a realist, unfortunately nobody really wants to do free trade. They all much prefer to cheat and get ahead at the expense of their neighbor. -
The Great Immigration Debate
paxamericana replied to paxamericana's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I hate commies, where they at! Oh i thought you were one of those globalist elite that preach globalization was the best thing ever...yeah only if everyone actually plays by the rules. There's not much incentive to play by the rules because it's faster to cheat. -
The Great Immigration Debate
paxamericana replied to paxamericana's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Nope a thriving middle class need one thing and that's a border. Stop flooding the market with immigrants, reduce the global labor competition, globalization is just a pipe dream that never delivered because everyone wants to cheat. America has proven it doesn't need the rest of the world to succeed. Trade(import-export) is only 25% of our GDP. -

America under President Trump
paxamericana replied to betsy's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
You are right! How dare america have the best military and economy. how dare we make america great again! We just proved to the rest of the world that we don't need you. America just took on, Canada, Mexico, EU, Russia, China, Japan, South Korea and WON! Everybody is coming to Washington to beg us for a deal. On top of that! Trade(import-export) is only 25 percent of our GDP (5 trillion to 20 trillion) . RESIST! RESIST! doesn't matter, we don't need your globalist agenda slowing us down anymore. We have more jobs now than workers applying. Wages are going up because of this. America seems to be doing just fine on its own. But because we are generous, we'll still give you a free trade deal it's just you're all being ungrateful not wanting to take it. We can't help it if you want to hold onto your pride out of some misguided anti-american sentiment. Fact of the matter is this, everyone wants to be an american sooner or later. So resist all you want, the rest of the world will probably be copying our model for years to come. -
People coming "through" mexico are from impoverish south american countries not part of the nafta deal.

It's a gift that keeps on giving. Anti-American sentiment creates a negative feedback loop to our pleasure.
