  2. This video was release by Israeli authorities because there are people like yourself who cast doubt on the magnitude of the violence perpetrated by Hamas on October 7th, Here is one video clip. Bing Videos Google and find some. It's not difficult.
  3. Most Canadians believe religion and society can live together in a degree of harmony. That is how people live in the west. But that is not how followers of Islam look at it in the middle east. They do not believe in a free society where everyone has the freedom to practice their religion. Many Islamists believe other religions are not allowed to exist in their territory or country. This is more true in the middle east where human rights are unknown and not respected. Islam: The Politically Incorrect Truth
  4. "The majority of the Palestine population is Muslim of the Sunni sect, and they account for 93% of the total population. Palestinian Muslims consider Jerusalem as an important part of their religion, with the Al-Aqsa mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem being regarded as the 3rd holiest site in the Muslim world. According to Islam, it is believed that Mohammed was taken from the sacred mosque in Mecca to the mosque of Al-Aqsa in the night journey. Accessing the site poses challenges to Palestinians because it involves several formalities, with casual visits being prohibited. Muslims in Palestine practice their religion with some dimensions to the popular religion. In the recent past radicalization has taken root with the interpretation of religion replacing the more tolerant and informal understating of society and religion." Religious Beliefs In Palestine - WorldAtlas Islam has extremist beliefs and violence to spread their religion. The extremist beliefs are at the root of the terrorist groups that operate in the middle east and other places. They are willing to die for Islam. If you want to know more about why they are fighting the middle east, go to: Islam: The Politically Incorrect Truth It is not land that is their main objective. It is the destruction of Israel and the elimination of Judaism in Israel.
  5. quote The majority of Palestinians are Muslim, with approximately 85% of the population in the West Bank being Muslim, including Israeli settlers. In the Gaza Strip, around 99% of the population follows Islam. " There you have it. So that explains why they support Hamas and other terrorist organizations that want to destroy Israel. Islam does not allow for another religion to exist in their midst. It is as simple as that.
  6. I assume you mean Israel should acknowledge Palestinians own half of Israel and you think that giving them a large part of Israel would solve the problem, correct? This shows you don't understand the very basic things about the conflict. 1. The land of Israel belongs totally to Israel and that is a fact historically and biblically. 2. The Palestinians are mostly Muslims and their belief is that Israel has no right to exist and must be destroyed completely. You need to study the beliefs of Islam and the history of the spread of Islam in the middle east. It was spread by the sword. That's why it is called, with tongue in cheek, the "religion of peace". 3. Cutting Israel into pieces and giving a large part to the Muslims who don't believe Israel has a right to exist requires very twisted reasoning. All the countries surrounding Israel are in fact Islamic countries and do not accept Israel's right to exist. So Israel is a tiny democratic country on a tiny piece of land in a sea of hostile Muslims. Therefore your whole way of thinking is irrational and meaningless.
  7. What would be the basis of a land claim in Europe? That is pure fiction. Something you pulled out of nowhere. The Jews have a historic claim to their land in Israel going back thousands of years. God actually gave them the land of Israel several thousand years ago to be theirs in perpetuity. " 1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. {perfect: or, upright, or, sincere} 2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. 3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. {many…: Heb. multitude of nations} 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. {Abraham: that is, Father of a great multitude} 6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. 8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; " Genesis 17: 1-8 KJV
  8. Alberta says they have the capacity to double their oil production and sales. That means they could potentially bring in tens of billions of dollars more for Alberta and Canada. Instead of shipping 90% of their oil to the U.S., Alberta could be shipping twice as much oil to Asian countries through B.C. The Trans Mountain pipeline is running at near capacity now. So if Alberta and Canada want to double production and sales to Asia, we definitely need another pipeline, such as the Northern Gateway pipeline. Alberta is pushing for it and it is hard to say what PM Carney will do about it. The federal government does have the power to get it built even if B.C. opposes it. They did it with the TMX expansion in spite of the opposition from the B.C. NDP government. The best port would be Kitimat or Prince Rupert on the B.C. north coast. Ottawa would have to revoke the tanker ban on the B.C. north coast, which is relatively easy to do. This would create jobs for thousands of people in the construction and bring in billions of dollars in revenue for the country.
  9. The Premiers and PM are meeting today to try to reach agreement on making Canada an economic powerhouse in the face of Trump's tariffs. Canadians want to see Canada diversify and find other markets in the world. I think most Premiers and Canadians who understand how important this is do support an energy corridor across Canada meaning a pipeline to both the east coast and one to the west coast ports of Prince Rupert or Kitimat. That is the key to exporting our oil to Asia. Unfortunately Premier Eby has chosen to be non-committal on a pipeline to the BC north coast. Premier Eby has appointed the deputy Premier of BC, Nikki Sharma, to attend the Premiers meeting in his place today, June 2nd, and when she was asked about the proposed pipeline, she also was non-committal. This seems to indicate the BC NDP is going to stick to its old ideology of opposing the energy industry, opposing a pipeline to get Canada's energy resources to international markets. The BC NDP has a history of opposing the expansion of the Trans Mountain Pipeline, even though they lost in the courts. BC NDP is putting ideology ahead of making Canada an energy superpower. They are more of a hindrance to national unity and making Canada an economic superpower. Unfortunately the Premiers of BC and Quebec will not even give their tentative approval to a pipeline. Canadian energy: Tariff threat spurs Canada to rethink limits on oil pipelines
  10. I never said anything against worker's incomes going up. Why do you assume I oppose that? Many have the chance to get ahead by education, hard work, etc. There is less chance of that in authoritarian Socialist countries. Some workers have very powerful unions and are able to earn very high wages and benefits. Others not so powerful but many still earn a reasonable income. Many non-unions workers do not earn much money. There are ways they can improve their situation. It takes hard work, saving and possibly further education and getting into the right fields. However, all that is not something government should be interfering with except to ensure essential services are not stopped. The government does that to some extent. We will see what happens with the postal dispute. Certain occupations should not be permitted to go on strike such as things that affect public safety. We live in a free enterprise system which is complex.
  11. As long as there is no stealing, then what is wrong with CEOs and shareholders incomes going up. They eat the same amount as anyone else. They invest their money in shares and create prosperity and thousands of jobs for everyone. That is how capitalism works. It creates wealth and a produces more for society. Just because their earnings went up much more than everyone else, that doesn't prove anything bad is happening. Questioning what they are earning or their salary increases is dumb. It is the kind of mindset driven by Communism or Marxism ideology that says if someone else is getting richer I must be getting poorer which is not true. It could also mean the company is making more money, producing more. The more money they make, the better for everyone as it is invested to spread prosperity around. The more money they make the more they invest in creating more companies, producing more goods and creating more jobs. That is good. The CEOs eat the same amount and he employs many people to look after everything he owns. That is good. More jobs for many people. He spends a lot of money on maintaining every vehicle he owns which also creates more jobs. Unions working for these companies negotiate good pay and benefits and they are doing just fine when a company prospers.
  12. We haven't seen anything yet. Just wait until all whites are eliminated from Canada by third world immigration policies, abortion, and MAID.
  13. BC NDP is doing the same kind of thing in B.C. by joining with some FN bands to close a provincial park to non-natives to let FNs use it for ceremonial purposes. Will be closed to non-natives for 100 days this year. For article on this see topic under Provincial politics.
  14. "Canadian nature lovers are outraged by a government decision to shutter beauty spots to the public so they can be used exclusively by native groups to 'reconnect' with the land. Outdoors enthusiasts have slammed the government of British Columbia for closing Joffre Lakes Park and its turquoise waters for more than 100 days in peak season to regular taxpayers. The same goes for the 24-hour closure of Botanical Beach on Vancouver Island to nonindigenous people, so members of the Pacheedaht First Nation could have it to themselves. Critics have taken to social media to slam the closures as unfair and 'apartheid, Canadian-style,' with native groups getting special treatment as everyone else is sidelined. The province's Ministry of Environment and Parks has called the closures part of a 'path of reconciliation' with native people. The controversy follows a blockbuster Canadian election that was overshadowed by US President Donald Trump 's push to make Canada a '51st state' of America. The vast country has been convulsed by its own culture wars after a decade of former prime minister Justin Trudeau's ultra-liberal rule. Caroline Elliott (pictured), director of the Public Land Use Society, a campaign group, slammed the closure of Joffre Lakes as unfair in a recent post on X that's been viewed 172,000 times and generated hundred of comments. 'It's divisive, it sets a terrible precedent, and it's just plain wrong,' Elliott says in the video. 'What it isn't is complicated. BC's parks belong to all British Columbians.' Angry social media users commented on the video, saying the shuttering was 'discriminatory,' and amounted to 'identity politics,' 'racial segregation,' and even an 'apartheid, Canadian-style.' 'These are provincial parks, not tribal reserves,' posted one user. 'Everyone pays for them. Everyone maintains them. Everyone should be welcome.' Joffre Lakes park has been closed in peak season so that the Líl̓wat Nation and the N'Quatqua First Nation can have exclusive access to its turquoise lakes, streams, and forests annually since 2023. Each year, the closures have grown longer, leaving some worried that one of the province's busiest parks would be shuttered to nonindigenous residents permanently in the future. The closure lasted for only 39 days in 2023, but grew to 60 days in 2024 and more than 100 days this year, says Elliott. The ministry in a statement to the Daily Mail said it was 'important to give time and space for the land to rest, while ensuring the Nations can use this space as they always have. We have built a strong relationship with the Lil'wat and N'Quatqua to make sure the natural and cultural values of the park are protected,' said the statement. 'We continue to work with the Nations to ensure opportunities exist for people to access the park in a responsible and sustainable way.' Back in 2023, the closure was not initiated by the officials – native groups unilaterally decided to deny access to other residents so they could practice their hunting and fishing traditions there. A statement from the group at the time said they were 'asserting our Title and Rights to our shared unceded territory to take this time to harvest and gather our resources within our territories.' During last year's closure, Líl̓wat Nation Chief Dean Nelson said the park was sacred to his community. " Well, I've got news for Chief Dean Nelson. Parks and wilderness areas are sacred to everyone. God created this earth for the benefit of everyone, not just you.
  15. Again, I never said you need the church/organized religion to be in touch with the Creator. But you do have to believe what the Bible says about how you become a son or child of God. "Unique among all books ever written, the Bible accurately foretells specific events-in detail-many years, sometimes centuries, before they occur. Approximately 2,500 prophecies appear in the pages of the Bible, about 2,000 of which already have been fulfilled to the letter—no errors." 16. The consequences of not knowing the central message in the Bible are serious. There are many important things you will not know about God and what he said in his word, the Bible. If is entirely your choice, but I just mention it really for your benefit. The Bible makes it clear one cannot really know God except through his Son, Jesus Christ. There are things taught in the Bible that are of vital importance to one's eternal destiny. God has chosen his word and missionaries to go out into the world to deliver the vital soul-saving message. The message briefly is that God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to die for the sins of mankind, and if one receives him as his Lord and Savior and believes Jesus died and paid the price for his sins personally, he will have eternal life. The Bible teaches that a person must do that to receive eternal life. So unless one does that and establishes that relationship with God through faith in his Son, God will not receive him. The Bible teaches that plainly. One must believe on Jesus and know him as his Savior to be saved. "3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. " John 3:3 KJV " 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. " John 3:16 KJV " 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. " John 3:36 KJV "6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. " John 14:6 KJV This is why missionaries went out into the far corners of the world and risked their lives. So the Bible is vitally important to understand God's plan for mankind and how to know God. Without that knowledge of what God said in his word, it is impossible to know the truth. Something to think about.
  17. What the BC NDP and FNs in that area of Joffre Lake Provincial Park are doing in banning non-natives is contrary to Section 15 of the Charter of Rights' " Section 15 – Equality rights 15. (1) Every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to the equal protection and equal benefit of the law without discrimination and, in particular, without discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability. unquote Discrimination has to have a sound basis. There is no reason why natives can not do their reconnection with nature in the park while non-natives are present as well. Nobody is stopping them from that. We all pay for maintenance of provincial parks and have a right to the enjoyment of them. The Canadian Charter or Rights either applies to everyone equally or it is not worth the paper it is written on. If natives were banned from anything, they would be screaming discrimination. But with the BC NDP it is ok the other way around.
  18. One thing you missed is the immigration, legal and illegal immigrants that came in since Trudeau and the Liberals took over in 2015 is far more than under Harper. This is a major reason housing prices are so high now. mass immigration under Trudeau created a huge shortage of housing. quote Using data from Statistics Canada, we get the following totals for permanent immigrants + net temporary migrants subtracted by net emigrants: Harper: 2,385,616 over 39 quarters Trudeau: 3,675,142 over 31 quarters Rate of net migration per year: Harper: 244,679 Trudeau: 474,212 unquote Almost doubled under Trudeau. But there are many reasons why housing prices went up a lot under Harper and Trudeau. In addition to the high immigration under Trudea, before that under Harper, many failures at all level of government contributed to the problem. You gave a link that explains many of the reasons. What caused the housing crisis? - CHEC-CCRL So this is a Canada wide problem. It got worse under Harper but far worse under Trudeau. Trudeau spent wildly in his years in power and ran up a massive debt. Municipal governments are a major cause of the problem too. Check the above link.
  19. That's not what I said. Don't try to hide behind the smokescreen by saying it's just normal taxes we want government to take. Just taxes, ya, just taxes. We need some taxes for some government services. Nobody would deny that we need armed forces, paved streets, sidewalks, fire department, police department, old age pensions, some social services for those who can't look after themselves, and some other things. But how far do you carry it? At some point it becomes Socialism or theft, right? Would you agree? If the idea is to redistribute the wealth as in Communist or Marxist ideology, then there is a problem. Why should people who don't want to work expect to have everything that other people who earned it by hard work have? That is unrealistic. This has to do with right and wrong and respect for individual human rights and property rights of everyone. There is no human right that says everyone, even if they don't want to work or educate themselves, should have everything that those who work have. But such a right is being claimed by Commies, Marxists, and Socialists all the time.
  20. That has been done for years. How old are you? Do you not realize the provincial government already does that to a degree? How far should government go in taking from some people to give to others? It is easy to be an armchair advisor and think you have the solution, when in fact there are many complexities and the freedom of people could be threatened by government actions. Wealth redistribution is Communism and stealing and is evil. What gives anyone the right to just seize what people have worked hard for and saved for their future and their children?
  21. Trudeau legalized marijuana. I heard that a psychiatrist in a book said marijuana can lead to mental problems. It wouldn't surprise me. That is another factor that would explain all the mentally-ill people and homelessness on the streets and the regular stabbings or killings by mentally ill offenders. Just another thing in the long list of problems caused by the ten years of Liberal rule. Vaping apparently also can contribute to suicide.
  22. The Williams Lake, BC council has apparently declared a state of emergency because of all the crime, anarchy, fires being set, and shoplifting with criminals, homeless and mentally ill people. Not sure the town will have any tools or ability to do anything about it. This situation could spread to other towns.
  23. Man is a fallen being since Eve ate the forbidden fruit and gave some to Adam and he did eat. Nobody is perfect since that time. However, we still have to live in this fallen world. We must live according to what God says in his written revelation, the Holy Bible. We live in a democracy and should know what is going on. While nobody is perfect, it is still our responsibility to support the political party that we believe is the best. None of the parties are perfect. We know that. But we still need a government to govern our country. It doesn't help if voters can't decide which party is the least undesirable and the best one we can find. All things considered, I find the Conservative Party the best choice and the only party that has a chance to defeat the less desirable Liberals. However, that is my decision. Everyone has to decide for themselves.
  24. When the Devil was tempting Jesus, this is what was said: "3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. " Matthew 4:3, 4 KJV Jesus is saying here that the Bible is the Christians food for following him and growing spiritually. The King James Bible, in English, are the very words that "proceedeth out of the mouth of God." There are many reasons why it is so important. Here are a few. " The Bible is important for several reasons: 1. It serves as a foundation of faith, providing timeless lessons, wisdom, and hope that guide moral choices and spiritual strength. 2. The Bible tells the story of God's nature and humanity, revealing themes of creation, judgment, and deliverance, which help us understand our place in the world. 3. It connects believers with their spiritual heritage, offering insights into the life and teachings of Jesus, which are central to Christian faith. 4. The Bible provides guidance and direction for living a meaningful life, helping individuals navigate moral dilemmas and personal challenges. 5. It is a source of comfort and inspiration, offering hope and encouragement through its teachings. 6. Overall, the Bible's significance extends beyond religious contexts, influencing culture, ethics, and personal development. https://dailybiblemiracles.com/why-the-bible-is-important/
