  1. Had absolutely nothing to do with me. How you treat migrants was and is entirely your business.
  2. You conveniently ignored the reports. Standard detention cells can be used for the most inhumane treatment possible and that is what reports say is happening in Alligator Alcatraz. We have no reason not to believe the same thing is happening in other places as well. " People held there say worms turn up in the food, toilets do not flush and flood floors with fecal waste, while mosquitoes and other insects are everywhere. At times the air conditioners abruptly shut off in the sweltering heat. Detainees are said to go days without showering or getting prescription medicine, and can only speak to lawyers and loved ones by phone."
  3. You can do all the talking you want, but you won't be able to talk your way out of this one. The admin is violating all international norms and conventions on human rights. You will have to wear this one as it is going down in history as major violations of human rights in various ways. Even if the MAGA gang think it is some kind of victory, it is a total disaster. The world looked up to America for many years as a country that defended human rights, but that all appears gone now.
  4. It should be obvious to anyone it was deliberately placed in a swamp with alligators and made as inhumane as possible to appease the MAGA base who thinks that is the way to go. I already posted a description of what the place is like. The idea is to look as tough as possible on undocumented migrants.
  5. All I can tell you is the reports are that it is an inhumane place and it looks as though it was intentionally created that way. The admin designed it the way it is, to be as inhumane as possible. They have zero respect for human rights and humane treatment of people.
  6. It was all part of Trump's re-election strategy. Get everyone hyped up about illegal, aliens, criminal aliens, blah blah blah and presto he won the election.
  7. I don't know what BSC means. Also what are you referring to? Caused what? Meaningless sentence.
  8. I try not to look at them. Sometimes they appear out of nowhere right in your face. Disgusting really. I assume you have some seeing you defend them.
  9. Except they are there for the purpose of everyone else to see. Nothing personal about that.
  10. I often see guys and women too with tatoos. Some are more tatooed than others, but it is very common. Often the men wear sleeveless shirts so they can parade their arms covered with tatoos. It is really sickening to be honest. People with tatoos are repulsive to look at. Sadly these people don't understand what they have done to themselves. This really turns a lot of people off. They defaced their own bodies for some strange reason which I can't understand. The whole thing is such a waste of God's creation. God created mankind in his own image. I am sure God doesn't approve of tatoos. It is scandalous.
  11. He is the opposition. Sad you don't know how government works. If people keep re-electing Liberals, they get what they asked for ... a mess of a country and continued failure on every front. Thanks to people like you.
  12. Resultz??? He has to form govt to produce "resultz"!!!!! How is that so hard to understand?
  13. Trying to be sarcastic but what you just said is a proven fact. What you said does not justify the inhumane treatment of undocumented migrants that is going on now. It does not justify cruelty in all the forms happening. Alligator Alcatraz " People held there say worms turn up in the food, toilets do not flush and flood floors with fecal waste, while mosquitoes and other insects are everywhere. At times the air conditioners abruptly shut off in the sweltering heat. Detainees are said to go days without showering or getting prescription medicine, and can only speak to lawyers and loved ones by phone." Sending people to such places as the horrendous inhumane prison in El Salvador is also an act of extreme cruelty. Let's not forget many families are being broken up and people taken away from their children and spouses. That is an unspeakable act of cruelty that will not be forgotten by countless people. Is that the kind of culture you admire coming from the MAGA world? Judge orders winding down of Trump’s ‘Alligator Alcatraz’
  14. Some may deny it but it sure looks like there are a significant number of people, in the MAGA crowd, who lean toward Nazi ideology. They have absolutely no use for migrants no matter how legitimate they may be as refugees. We see this with the cruel treatment of the undocumented migrants. This is a dark side of humanity.
  15. I can appreciate the problem. Is there no solutions? Seems kind of strange that there is a vast amount of money available to run the deportation scheme, but no money to solve the problems you point out without deporting huge numbers of people.
  16. This is not true. We were talking about undocumented migrants. The vast majority come from the countries I listed in the article. It doesn't mention Muslim countries. I assume very few undocumented migrants are from Muslim countries. There may be a small number, but probably not many. There are lots of immigrants who came from Muslim countries through the regular process and have some kind of immigrations status. They can't be deported.
  17. We are talking primarily about undocumented migrants in the U.S. That for the most part does not include Muslims. I agree Muslims are not compatible with western society. But they are not the undocumented migrants. I posted the countries where the migrants came from. None are from Muslim countries. Europe is the place that receives the Muslim migrants and has problems as a result.
  18. That sounds more like a fabricated generalization than reality. How you treat other people such as undocumented migrants has a major bearing on how they think. If you treat them like enemies, you can expect them to have a different opinion of you. If the government treats them like alien enemies, that will of course have an effect on how they think and act. Unfortunately politics often adds more problems to society than it solves. I would encourage you to do some studying of various websites on undocumented migrants. They are a very diverse group of people. This website gives a little information. You can go to the link and read the whole article. There are many other websites that give lots of information on who these people are and what they do. quote In the public’s mind, the undocumented — the people living here without permission from the American government — are Hispanic, mostly Mexican and crossed the southwestern border in secret. In the eyes of their advocates, they are families and workers, taking the jobs nobody else wants, staying out of trouble, here only to earn their way to better, safer lives for themselves and their children. At the White House, they are pariahs, criminals who menace American neighborhoods, take American jobs, sap American resources and exploit American generosity: They are people who should be, and will be, expelled. Illegal immigrants can be many of these things, and more. Eleven million allows for considerable range, crosshatched with contradictions. There may be no more powerful symbol of how fixedly Americans associate illegal immigration with Mexico than the wall President Trump has proposed building along the southern border. But many of the unauthorized are not Mexican; almost a quarter are not even Hispanic. Countries of origin for unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. Guatemala 723,000 El Salvador 465,000 Honduras 337,000 China 268,000 India 267,000 Korea 198,000 Mexico 6.2 million Ecuador Philippines Colombia Other countries 2.1 million After Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, the largest number of unauthorized immigrants comes from China (an estimated 268,000), where deportations run aground on a less literal wall: China is one of 23 countries that do not cooperate with deportations. (The Trump administration has pledged to pressure all 23 into doing so.) They tend to be younger — the Pew Research Center has found that adult unauthorized immigrants were, at the median, about a decade younger than American-born adults — and skew slightly more male than the rest of the country. Geography and demography are only two ways to anatomize these 11 million. Circumstance offers another: As he seeks to tighten law enforcement’s grip on unauthorized immigrants, Mr. Trump will grapple with a population of people who arrived in several ways and for myriad reasons, each slice presenting its own challenges. unquote Here’s the Reality About Illegal Immigrants in the United States - The New York Times That is only part of the article. Go to the link to read the whole thing. I suggest you read various websites and not rely on just one article written by perhaps one author.
  19. Do you think Israel should destroy Hamas?
  20. The terrorist asked the victim if he was a Muslim before attacking. That could be a warning for anyone. What would you say?
  21. Nonsense. Conservatives are happy with PP.
  22. I doubt Ford would ever try. PP is strongly supported by Conservatives. Ford can't just run himself. It's an involved process. Must go through a party.
  23. This is a bizarre story. Premier Doug Ford points out the madness of it. 'Something is broken': Doug Ford slams assault charges against homeowner after break-in | Watch
  24. The AC strike has screwed up travel plans, cost thousands of dollars in some cases, and had bad affects on many people. They were not able to find an alternate airline as you claimed. So it is an essential service to countless people. AC strikes should be illegal.
  25. That's the system we have. What have the Liberals done about the AC employees not being paid for the time they worked. They could have done something about it long ago. They had the past ten years to do something. I don't believe in a right to strike in essential services. Air Canada is an essential service that affects millions of people. It is ridiculous to think a strike is ok in that situation. The only alternative I know of is binding arbitration. If you have another alternative, tell us what it is. The only authority that can make the laws is the government. They are the ones responsible. Also, the constitution needs to be changed. The Supreme Court needs to be changed because they are out of touch with reality. That can only be done by Constitutional change.
