We know God created the universe and that he always existed. He is not limited by time, matter or anything else. He is not made of matter. God is a spirit. We know all this because God has revealed himself and what he did in the Bible. The fact God created everything is described in the first part of Genesis in the Bible. He always was. No need to speculate on anything beyond that. You limit God when you think of him in terms of matter. He is not made of matter. Spirit is not matter. God's spirit is present everywhere and upholds and sustains the universe. It might be too much for you to believe but there is no rational alternative. You are correct, our "human" understanding of the universe is based on things like time, space, and matter. But God is far beyond that. That is where many people run into trouble because they think only in terms of matter.

Isaac Newton who was a scientist who studied the physical laws of the universe believed in God. He had enough sense to know the physical laws that govern the universe couldn't just happen or come into being themselves. He new they needed a divine creator.

It has not been proven false. It cannot be proven false. There is absolutely nothing that can "prove" that God didn't create the universe. The natural selection theory of random mutations has been rejected by some scientists. I saw a christian scientist who once was an atheist and believed all that, but did a lot of investigation and came to the conclusion that the theory of random selection is false. He is a mathematician as well and demonstrated that the theory of probability just does not support the theory of natural selection. He demonstrated on a slide presentation that it just doesn't work because the probability of natural selection is too small for it to work. He likened it to a monkey being given a typewriter and given enough time to randomly hit the keys. How long would it take for him to type out the complete works of Shakespeare? Practically speaking, forever. Same with natural selection. There just isn't enough time for it to randomly select the right building blocks of life to produce life. Mathematical theories of probability show natural selection would not work. Incidentally, Professor Stott attended conferences on evolution/creation all over the world and demonstrated why the theory of natural selection is false. I attended Professor Philip Stott's five evening slide show presentations on a variety of creation related science subjects. Very informative. He makes the case from a scientific point of view that evolution is false. I made a series of five videos of his presentations. Also saw him several years later and attended his three evening presentations. He was originally from England but studied in South Africa and became Mathematician professor. He showed how Darwin was wrong. How the geological time chart is inconclusive because there are huge missing gaps in the time chart.

Jimmy Bakker has a daily television program on satellite television and goes on a number of networks to many viewers. He did fall into some financial irregularities 20 or more years, went to prison for five years and paid his penalty. He has since made an amazing comeback and is doing well. I listen to him occasionally. He is fine, but getting older and has his health issues. He remarried years ago and has a nice wife who God saved as well. Christians believe God forgives sinners, including christians who fall. Jesus said he came not for the righteous, but for sinners. He came to save sinners. The bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

Sorry to hear about those kind of things. I will say I lived in a small town and attended a dutch reformed church for most of 25 years although I am not dutch descent. The dutch people in the reformed churches in the town were generally a hard-working God-fearing people. Large percentages of the dutch community did attend church and send their kids to christian schools. Their children attended school from the time they were born and many of them were hard-working and started their own businesses which were often quite successful. They spend holiday weekends with their families. When a mother or father is ill, their children or others in the church will often deliver meals to the ill persons and help them. They help their children and children often heIp their parents. I have seen it first hand. Many members of their families went to church together. They had a strong sense of maintaining close family ties and helping each other. They feared God and depended on him to take care of them. They married into the dutch community often. Some of them had very successful businesses and contributed a lot to building their churches and christian schools. A lot of them had a strong belief in the Calvinist work ethic. Of course there is the odd one who went astray. Some had some difficulties in life. Lots of families had four, five, six or more kids. Generally I would say they were good-living Canadians who contributed to the community. This doesn't mean that nobody ever made mistakes in there life. People do sometimes fall into temptation. But they have a strong belief in a loving God who is merciful and forgiving.

OK. I never said it was a dumb question. No, I don't think God needs to use a toilet. We only know what the bible tells us about God. There are things we don't know and would be only guessing.

Life doesn't end in the grave. God created man with a soul and a spirit. Death is not the end according to the bible. Because of our fallen nature, it is natural to be in rebellion against God until he reaches man through the Spirit and his written Word.

God is perfect and infinite in all respects. It's not for us to question our almighty creator. He has given us an out. It is in the bible, especially the New Testament gospels. Life is difficult for many people and many suffer. But this is not God's fault. He is merciful and willing to forgive fallen men.

There have been lots of wars partly due religion and possibly false religions. But there have been wars that were not due to religion such as WW1 and WW2. Atheists such as the communists Stalin and Chairman Mao killed millions of people. This had nothing to do with religion. There have been wars all through history for various reason. That is the nature of man because of his fallen nature (rebellion against God).

I don't claim to have all the answers. God created a perfect world with the Garden of Eden. He created Adam and Eve and put them in the paradise. The could have continued to live and multiply in this paradise. He only gave them one instruction, that is, not to eat of a certain fruit in the garden. The serpent came along and tempted Eve to eat the particular fruit. She didn't have to. Nobody forced her. But she chose to eat the fruit and offered some to Adam and he ate. In that moment they were in transgression against God and the future of the world and mankind was determined. Forever after that fall, everyone is born with a fallen nature and an imperfect fallen world. God did not create it to be a fallen world. But mankind rebelled and that's what happened. However, God in his mercy, sent his Son to die for the sins of a fallen man and by faith in this Son of God and his sacrifice for them, man is redeemed.

Murders happened from the beginning of man on earth. It did not follow the bible. The first murder is recorded in the bible in Genesis. The bible is opposed to murder. Jesus is opposed to it. It cannot be blamed on the bible. Ever since Adam and Eve rebelled against God, their descendents (us) were born with a fallen nature in rebellion against God. That is why there are murders, wars, crime, and hatred in the world.

Not true. There was no dictator involved. God inspired men to write the bible under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. These were not dictators. They were ordinary men that God chose to use for this purpose. The revelation of God was thereby given to men. Ordinary men were chosen to be prophets, apostles, and disciples who then spread the message. It is not bs. It is God's written word we have today in the King James Authorized Version. It tells the way of salvation. What a person does with this message will be the most important decision in life. It will determine where a person spends eternity. Not trying to scare anyone but just passing the message along which God gave man in the bible.

What is true knowledge (or wisdom)? The answer is in Proverbs ch1 vs7 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." KJV

God doesn't save everyone. That should be obvious. He desires that all will be saved. It is not wise to put off dealing with God and seeking salvation. We don't know if we will even be alive tomorrow. That's why the bible says "now is the accepted time. Now is the day of salvation."

Not sure what you mean. God is eternal or everlasting. At a point in time, he created the universe and created mankind.

God is a person albeit divine. He thinks, acts, etc. So yes, it is possible to say or act against God. What do you mean western names? It's not nonsensical. It's not that complicated. Why reject the chance of eternal life? Life is short and we don't know if or when God will give us a chance to live forever with him.

Are you speaking against God? The world is a mess because your first parents, Adam and Eve, were deceived by the serpent and rebelled against God in eating the forbidden fruit. Thus they received a fallen state which is passed upon all their descendents. So everyone is born in a fallen state. That's why the world is a mess.

Effectual Calling. See bible, Romans 9:16, 9:18 Salvation is entirely a work of God. This tells us man by his nature is born in a state of sin and death and is in rebellion against God. But God works through his Spirit and his written Word in the human heart and causes them to believe in Jesus Christ unto salvation. Praise God!

The creation of the universe is absolute evidence, proof, whatever you want to call it. The complexity and laws of physics, the minutest particles making up the atoms, molecules, everything cannot have come into existence without a divine creator who designed it and brought it into being. There is no other viable explanation. Even great scientists like Isaac Newton believed in God. Science is not infallible either. Theories about things have often been found later to be incorrect and have been discarded. Theories such as the sun revolves around the earth, the cause of fire were discarded.

There are many jobs where you not allowed to make mistakes. Doctors, surgeons, nurses, etc. Some jobs by their nature have serious consequences if you make a mistake. I guess that's part of the reason they are fairly well paid and have lots of benefits in their contracts. Still I think the union would be better to keep a low profile in these cases. It would project a better public image. The union should be unbiased and neutral until they see what the outcome is. Then if they feel the decision is wrong or too harsh, they can appeal it.

I may watch it later. It's just that I have a lot of things I should be doing and must break off shortly and do some work. I am not sure why you are obsessed with these other things. Most people would accept a video of something as being the final, unquestionable account of something. Videos don't lie. It is possible for experts to tell if a video is doctored and I have never heard anything to suggest that. There is much other evidence to show the planes were hijacked anyway.
