You have just described false religion, not biblical Christianity, which is in the small minority in the world. Jesus said his kingdom is not of this world. He did not come to build an earthly kingdom and biblical Christianity's aim is not to build an earthly kingdom and it is not it's aim to spread the gospel by force. The aim of the Papacy is to build an earthly kingdom and always has been, ruled by the potentate in Rome.

Not all people belong to an apostate or false religious system. We should avoid generalizing. There are many different denominations. You are speaking largely of Romanism, the religion which the largest number of people belong to within nominal Christianity, but which is a false or apostate religious system that controlled the western world for the last 1,700 years. It is not built on the Bible, but is largely a man-made religion. Yet during that 1,700 years there were small independent Bible believers or groups of Bible believers. Usually they were underground because they would face persecution for being "heretics". Many were killed. The Inquisition was a time of persecution that lasted 400 years. The Bible commands believers to come out from an apostate or false church and be separate from them. What matters is what God says in his written revelation, in English the KJB. A church is not what saves a person, contrary to what some churches teach. Salvation is a personal thing between an individual and God. Believers are to test what they are told with the Bible. Charity is taught in the Bible to individual believers. Churches are not taught to be social services agencies. That is not the function of a church. Charity is generally an individual thing. The purpose of a church is to provide a place of communal worship (a building), Bible study, the preaching of the word and gospel, and fellowship. Some often do contribute to certain causes and missions in the world. Often they help the less fortunate in their congregation or who may be experiencing a crisis or some sort of disaster. We also live in an age where everyone pays taxes to government which provides welfare to people. That doesn't prevent Christians from donating to charitable causes as many do. Number of people who go to church does vary from age to age. However, a church's duty is not to preach or present itself in a way to obtain the highest number of attendees. The church's job is to preach the truth and follow the truth in the Bible. It is not a popularity contest as a rock band might be. The message or biblical truth is unpopular with society and the world. As Jesus said many are called but few are chosen. A true church can never compromise in order to be acceptable or popular with the unbelieving world.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, Rempel and O'Toole both support abortion, the killing of unborn babies on demand. Many politicians support abortion on demand. About 100,000 a year are killed in Canada. Sadly this is the state of Canada. It is a nation full of immorality. That is just the nature of the human heart. Good luck in trying to eliminate hate by command or law. If it were possible to eliminate hate, we should have an entirely different world long ago than we have now.

There is nothing in advancements in the eastern world in academics or science in history that somehow recommend or commend a political religious system. By doing a little searching through Google or some other search engine, you can find articles about what went on in residential schools and you can get a fairly good idea. Also read survivors accounts. Put the pieces together and you will understand it quite well. There is a lot of misinformation being put out by people who have agendas. Some of these people do not want to hear the whole story, but only the bad stuff. Usually the bad stuff overshadows everything else in the public's mind. But overall, the residential schools were a bad thing because of the bad stuff that happened. However, during the years of the schools, few people had an understanding about how this would turn out and didn't really understand the whole picture. It's easy to say this and that in hindsight, but the people that ran them probably thought they were doing the right thing as did the politicians in those years. The perverts and abusers in the system however didn't care about the consequences of their actions as criminals don't care about the consequences of their actions. How many of those kind existed in the schools is not really understood. That's why it would be nice if all documents were released and made public so everyone could understand this issue better. The problem is confidentiality to protect the innocent will be claimed and is likely why we will never know everything.

Maybe you should watch the video and find out how he was treated in a jail that treated him like the Gestapo would. You think it's fine to put someone in a cold filthy cell with urine on the floor and be forced to lay on it for 24 or 48 hours and where they refused to allow you to speak or call your lawyer. China promises this type of system for you but the only catch is you will surrender your fundamental freedoms and democracy in exchange for this form of government security system. This is what is happening. One tool to do this is the U.N. and World Economic Forum. We also see this happening with the World Health Organization which is run by a former liberation revolutionary from Africa. The W.H.O. is controlled by China which controls much of the U.N. They don't need to nuke the west to take over. That is old thinking. There are many other ways which they are now taking control such as propaganda, ideology, cyber, and many countless agents working in various western countries. This seems to be all in line with biblical prophecy which prophesies a one world system run by the anti-Christ at some point in the future. It is easy to see how that is coming with the globalists push for more global control and the U.N. Marxist agenda called Social Development Goals (SDG). That is a Marxist manifesto for creating a global utopia. Of course that won't happen until all countries forfeit their sovereingty and submit to the globalist one-world government. I lived in the valley about 40 km from Moricetown for 27 years. Been through there for many years. I never heard that the priest Morice was a bad guy. I think that is just part of the present narrative red power activists are trying to create. I met a native from Moricetown who used to come into Smithers almost daily (about 30 km east of Moricetown) and he was always very cordial and friendly. He told me he rang the bell in the old Moricetown Catholic church on Sundays. I also saw a native fella in a Smithers coffee shop from Moricetown who said he practiced Shamanism. I think somebody should ask the natives in Moricetown if they like the idea of going back and would they welcome more Shamins and Shaminism (witchcraft and sorcery). I doubt they would be interested in that. Although the Catholic church was a false religion, it did help get them out of some of the darker practices like Shamanism. They all benefit from the conveniences, education, health care system, modern homes and utilities, television, smart phones, computers, that Moricetown has, motor vehicles so they can run into Smithers to shop, etc all the time. The main Yellowhead highway, Highway 16, runs through Moricetown from Prince Rupert on the coast to near Portage La Prairie, Manitoba as does the CN railway. Smithers airport is also only about 30 km from Moricetown. These transportation links provide Moricetown with all the modern conveniences of life and greatly increase their and everyone's life span and make life liveable and civilized. People who talk about going back to earlier times and getting rid of historical reminders don't really know what they are talking about. The old priest Morice was just a part of the link that helped bring the people in that village and area into the white man's modern civilization. I don't see how that was such a bad thing. Somebody had to help do it. I think they should ask the ordinary people in Moricetown if they have a problem with the village being named after him and do they want to change it. Morice was a significant part of their history and not necessarily bad. There are many people in Moricetown who have no problem with non-natives and get along with them in the valley. There are a few native red power activists who want to demand more and create conflict over this and that. Somebody should speak to the ordinary people and listen to them. They will likely be ignored and a small clique of Wet'su'weten hereditary chiefs may call the shots. This is a small group of activists who led the gas pipeline blockades last year that led to shutting down railways, etc. and protests across Canada. But I could be completely wrong. Maybe the people in Moricetown want to drop the name. If that is their wish, so be it. I don't really have a problem with it. It's up to them. I just hope it is not dictated by a handful of activists who ignore the great majority.

Just reported on the news this morning that the federal government destroyed records from the residential schools. Some records were viewed or obtained by the CBC, but it appears only certain records will ever be found or revealed. Looks like the government and church were working in collusion to cover up. It is doubtful the whole truth will ever be known, especially when we have a government that wants to keep the history covered up and concentrate on image and virtue signaling.
