That sounds quite wacked out. quote List of Killings in the Name of Islam: Last 30 Days This is part of the list of killings in the name of Islam maintained by TheReligionofPeace.com. Most of these incidents are terror attacks. A handful are honor killings or Sharia executions. During this time period, there were 27 Islamic attacks in 15 countries, in which 187 people were killed and 144 injured. unquote List of Islamic Terror Attacks (thereligionofpeace.com) While there have been attacks against Muslims in Canada periodically and must be condemned, they are overall rare compared with the number of terrorist attacks around the world in the name of Islam.

The Rebel? Are you serious. You love to make stuff up. "Two attacks in one week with two killed have brought Canada to the fore as a North American breeding ground for terrorist sympathizers. The normally peaceful country has seen between 130 and 145 of its citizens leave and join extremist groups abroad in the past few years, according to Canadian intelligence services, but they may not be the biggest threat. Canada's national security could be in danger from Canadians who have never traveled to overseas jihadist training camps, but are independently committing acts of violence against other Canadians under the banner of the Islamic State group. “Canada is not immune,” said Mubin Shaikh, a former Taliban recruiter who operated from his hometown of Toronto before changing sides to work for the government as a national security operative. “We need to get away from the idea that even though we're the nicest people you’ll ever meet, people will still attack us.” Canadians returning from the front lines of jihad are likely to have received weapons and bomb-making training, but while fighters returning to Canada may be well-prepared, they might not be able to operate as covertly as ISIS supporters within the country, said Bob Milton, a retired commander of the London Metropolitan Police Service in the UK. The Canadian government labeled Wednesday’s shooting at Ottawa’s parliament and a hit-and-run attack in Quebec as “terrorist attacks.” Both Ottawa shooter Michael Zehaf-Bibeau and Quebec attacker Martin Rouleau-Couture were born in Canada, were recent converts to Islam and were reportedly being monitored by law enforcement after attempting to travel to Syria. Although they never left Canada to fight with terrorist groups, their social media profiles were filled with ISIS propaganda. It’s still unknown if a member of ISIS instructed them to carry out their attacks or if the terrorist group simply served as inspiration for "lone wolf" actions. “It’s linked to ISIS. It follows a direction that was given,” said Shaikh. “It fits the pattern of other countries involved in anti-ISIS operations.” ISIS In Canada: The Biggest Terror Threat To Canada Could Come From Within Its Borders (ibtimes.com)

Immigration policies changed in the 1960s and 1970s with the introduction of official multiculturalism and it's consequences which is the focus of this thread. "Legislation in the 1960s and 1970s laid the groundwork for the immigration regime Canada has today, which embraces multiculturalism. In 1967, Ottawa introduced a points-based system for evaluating applicants, after which Canada saw a jump in immigration from Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and Latin America. A 1971 policy first articulated the government’s support for cultural diversity, and legislation in 1976 explicitly codified Canada’s commitment to refugees, mandated federal and provincial officials develop immigration targets together, and cast immigration as a tool for meeting the country’s cultural, economic, and social objectives." What Is Canada’s Immigration Policy? | Council on Foreign Relations (cfr.org) With this policy, in one sense, it could be validly argued that Canada is not really a sovereign nation, but it belongs to the world, particularly the third world or U.N world and now accepts the third world immigrants in large numbers.

Another question arising out of Socialized or public health care is how can the government claim we are a free and democratic nation while at the same time denying an individual the right to pay for health care from a private provider or pay for insurance to receive private health care services? Should not these kind of things be an individual's right to choose and not by government decree? Another related issue in B.C. is car insurance. Why must everyone buy the crown corporation car insurance and not have freedom to choose a private insurance company? This seems more like totalitarianism than a free society. Where are the so-called Charter of Rights? It appears the Charter of Rights only apply if it fits in with liberal - Socialist ideology. We often see that in the Supreme Court rulings. At least in America the Supreme Court recognized the right of the unborn to life. In Canada we have seen no such ruling and are not likely to. The liberal left progressives appoint and control the Supreme Court.

Liberal-NDP heathen ideology also supports and encourages in fact women to get abortions. This is costing Canada about 80,000 to 100,000 lives a year. The liberal-NDP ideology of feminism also means women are encouraged to seek careers and go out to work ($10 a day childcare the latest social program) to further destroy the family structure and reduce Canadians from having families. This means far fewer children being born in Canada especially from Caucasian women. The aboriginal birth rate is even ahead of non aboriginals now. Smaller families means more immigration is required to maintain the number of people entering the work force. Liberals-NDP naturally turn to the third world for immigrants because they are the ones most likely to vote left wing liberals or NDP. They don't want immigrants from western nations because they are less likely to vote liberal and are more likely to be conservative (and maybe white supremacists). Immigration is the only way to fill the labour shortage as more and more Canadians are aging and retiring. The social programs and old age pensions, CPP, etc. must be paid for somehow.

There is a connection between the failing health care system and the ideology of multiculturalism. Multiculturalism is at the root of giving preference to third world migrants over European immigrants. This results in millions more liberal, NDP, voters who favour Socialism and a nanny state. One of the many problems of Socialist nanny-state ideology is Socialists promise everything but do not have money to fund anything properly. That is the reason for our failing health care system. They want health care for everyone but will not fund it or manage it properly. Millions of people do not even have their own doctor. We are moving toward third world health care. While the health care system is failing us, the Socialist third world supporter, Jagmeet, demands more programs like dental care, pharmacare even though the existing health care system is not being funded properly. He doesn't seem to say much about that. Just more promises and demands for more social programs. On top of all that, the system prevents anyone who does have the money from paying for private health care in Canada. The Socialists say we have public health care but prevent people in dire need of medical care from obtaining private health care and fight against and won't allow a two-tier system, which may be the only solution. A two-tier system could also be provided by people purchasing insurance for private care if they so wish and can afford it. This would be far preferable to millions of Canadians being denied essential health care. So millions are being denied proper health care. That's third world Socialism. Those who really need care and are being denied it or put on a long waiting list are suffering the most and many die waiting. That's third world ideology being enhanced by third world immigration, i.e. multiculturalism.

Yes, there is a difference. But today with so much error floating around, even biblical scholars may not always be correct about everything. However, since they have studied theology for years, one must be careful. It is best to study a particular subject before jumping to conclusions. Some subjects are more difficult than others as well.

The answer is in the Bible. You just refuse to look into it. Try Google.

You make it sound like Christians do not share many common beliefs but that not actually true. There are basic beliefs that many if not most churches and believers agree on. No sense me listing them because you seem to be in denial and trying to portray Christians in a negative or confused light. If you think the God in the Bible is not real, how do you explain that he sent his Son Jesus Christ into the world, was crucified, and was raised from the dead and seen by many people? I will ask the old question that you should be able to answer. Where did the complex universe and the complex life forms all come from? Where did man come from? The Bible answers that basic question. If not created by an intelligent designer Creator, where did it all come from? Even the laws of physics, the atoms, molecules, simple cells are extremely complex and could not just appear from nowhere without a Creator. So what is your answer?

Many biblical scholars have devoted their lives and studied the Bible for many years, but you think they know nothing. Oh well, each to his own.

Many immigrants want to turn Canada into a Socialist/Marxist state because they don't believe in western, Judeo-Christian ideas of respect for private property and the sanctity of life and marriage. A good example is Singh and his horde of Sikh followers who all support Socialism. They believe the bad people are the corporations and millionaires. They want to confiscate their wealth (steal it in simple biblical terms) and turn society into a Marxist communal group with every conceivable social program possible from cradle to grave. Nobody has to work if they don't want to. No such thing as making an individual effort to improve one's self, get ahead, prosper, earn a living, and worship the true God. All that is white supremacy and racism with them.

You are probably correct. I doubt we will run out of those staples in 2023. I will delete the original post.

There has been some dark chapters in history involving churches, such as witch-burnings. This is not something taught in the Bible and Bible believers today would oppose such a thing. Slavery was abolished in the British empire 200 years ago. I have never heard of "pogroms and global-scale genocide". The Catholic church did run the Holy Roman Inquisition for about 400 years in the middle ages, but the Catholic church is a false church. According to one author, the Catholic church did have a genocide in Yugoslavia during WW2, but again they do not represent biblical Christianity. I am not sure what other genocides you are referring to. Never heard of them. Maybe you could explain. And today we have genocide by the liberals and left known as abortion or baby killing. Maybe you could tell where you stand on that. If you support the liberals, progressives and left abortion policy, you have no right to talk about genocide, because that is genocide which your beloved liberals and NDP support. The Bible would condemn such things. You simply don't understand or know anything about the Bible. The Bible condemns evil behavior of all kinds. Christianity was involved in slavery in the U.S. in history and other places but rarely in Canada. Christianity has some blemished history on the subject of slavery. It is easy to condemn things in history, but the world developed slowly over a long period of many centuries and they looked at things differently than today. Today we claim to be more enlightened. It is easy to condemn things that took place in the past, but if you were alive in those days, you would probably think the same way as most other people on the subject of slavery. It took centuries for the world to finally abolish it at least in the west. The point is the Bible condemns all sorts of evil and defends righteous behavior. So you can't blame the Bible for the evils that happened down through history. Mankind has an evil heart and an evil nature and has done many bad things in history. That does not detract from the truth of the Bible and it's teachings. Don't make the mistake of blaming the Bible, which many people did not follow in history and do not follow today. Other religions can easily be shown to be false in the light of the Bible. There is no comparison. I probably know more about the Bible and am familiar with a lot of world history. I understand there have always been wars. The Bible prophesied there would be. The world is an evil place and under the dominion of the Devil.

quote Our country being is controlled by a partnership agreement between two individuals. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is described as a “totalitarian despot” by Canadian journalist Lorne Guntner. Integrating authoritarianism into society is his speciality. An advocate of communism in China and Cuba, Trudeau’s entire family have been supporters of Fidel Castro and Mao Tse Tung. Jagmeet Singh, responsible for locking in Justin Trudeau for an additional three years to total ten years in office, has an equally sketchy political career. Much of it found in his attitude toward our country. While advocating for an independent state for Sikhs, Mr. Singh doesn’t think much of Canada’s history as an independent country. In terms of truckers who gathered at the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa earlier in the year, Singh branded them people with an extreme right-wing ideology.” The New Democratic Party leader considers Canada a racist and genocidal nation: “Anytime you think of unmarked mass graves, you think of a distant country where a genocide has happened. This is not a distant country, this is here in Canada, and the genocide was against Indigenous people. And it is a genocide that is ongoing.” That’s genocidal at this very moment. By now, Canadians should be used to the chicanery. Time was when the unthinkable existed: federal party leaders actually took pride in their country. Remember the good old days when prime ministers and party leaders cultivated positive feelings about Canadian society? unquote Jagmeet Singh Backs Khalistan Independence, Brands Canada Racist (capforcanada.com)

Third world immigration is fueling the movement toward more Socialism and progressive liberalism because most immigrants will see it as some sort of utopia. Left wing politicians like Singh, Trudeau promise everything but they don't talk about the tax increases it will mean. Socialism is an evil system that disrespects private ownership, private enterprise and disregards historic Judeo-Christian principles such as the traditional families, freedom of the individual and respect for human life. But immigrants are not Bible-believing Christians and they have no qualms about embracing Socialism and liberalism. That is one reason they are brought here. That is the real threat to Canada and I think we have already passed the point of no return with multicultural policies and third world immigration by the millions.

Headline: Jagmeet Singh Backs Khalistan Independence, Brands Canada Racist July 15, 2022 by Brad Jagmeet Singh Backs Khalistan Independence, Brands Canada Racist (capforcanada.com) Why is he whining about Canada being racist when he was able to succeed in a profession and then become the leader of a major political party?
-
I have given the details to ExFlyer above and below to explain why it is not arbitrary "racism". Choosing who is allowed to come to Canada has direct consequences on the politics and political system, which effects laws, and how the country governs and how society functions. The third world immigrants in general may choose left wing Socialism and liberalism which has dire consequences for Canada. Every country has a right to choose. In fact the government makes the choice of who they will let in. Why do you not call that racism against Caucasian westerners?

The reasons why liberals, NDP, and left in general support multicultural immigration are nefarious and immoral. The reasons centre around gaining more votes and support for the left Socialist or liberal government. You use "love of neighbour" as a cover for your belief in third world immigration, while the Bible does not support that scheme. Of course as a heathen yourself, you welcome millions more to support your socialist political ideology. quote 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. unquote 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 King James Bible We are talking about immigration and who should be brought into Canada to become voting citizens. Every country in the world has the sovereign right to choose immigrants whom they think will have a good benefit to their country. I have given you reasons why multiculturalism is destructive to Canada. Multicultural immigration policies which specifically concentrate on the third world and reject the European immigration will help turn Canada into a heathen nation with many false gods and false religions. This has a negative influence on politics and society in general. People who do not believe the Bible and do not believe in the Christian faith will not understand this because they are in the same boat themselves. But many of these people will have no problem supporting anti-God, anti-Biblical policies simply because they do not have a Judeo-Christian heritage or belief system. People who believe the Bible will tend to be more conservative leaning. But their influence in politics and political parties will be small or negligible because they are outnumbered by secular humanists or non-Bible believing people. One of the things that many immigrants from the third world will support is more Socialism which means more government control of society, more social programs, increasing taxation to pay for it all, and less freedom. We see this particularly with the NDP which is focused on increasing social programs which will have to be paid for by increasing taxation. They often talk about making the rich and corporations pay "their fair share". These are key words that reveal their ideology, which opposes the sanctity of private property and private ownership. They lean heavily toward communal or public ownership of everything.

The bottom line is that Canada adopted multiculturalism back in around the 1960s as official policy. This meant that Canada prefers to take immigrants from the third world rather than from European nations where our founding people came from and where our semblance of Judeo-Christian heritage came from. Immigrants from the third world are more likely to support left-leaning parties and liberals. The consequence of taking in massive numbers of immigrants from the third world under the multicultural policy means Canada is taking in large numbers of people who worship false gods of heathen religions or secular humanism. This will help turn Canada into a heathen nation with many false gods and false religions. My last post referred to more historical behavior in third world countries in Africa and similar aboriginal locations. We can look at present day culture or religious beliefs and find that they are still unacceptable. India might be a good place to start. In India Hinduism has all kinds of abhorrent beliefs that western society would not consider as civilized. They believe animals are sacred for example and do not believe in eating meat. They allow cattle to roam the streets while people starve. At least one town allows monkeys to roam, over populate, and rule the town. They bathe in the heavily polluted Ganges river. They still believe in the caste system where some people are considered as untouchables. All these things are contrary to Judeo-Christian beliefs in western civilization. So again western society is superior even if you don't like to use the word. There is no other way to compare or describe it. India's Hinduism is just one example out of countless examples of inferior religious and cultural belief systems held in the third world.

The leftist, progressive liberals calls anyone who believes in the Bible or is Christian a racist. That is old news. It means nothing. The country is not a "secular" country. Never has been. There are still millions of people with various religious beliefs and it is their right to believe what they choose. The liberal left want to turn the country to a heathen/pagan country as much as possible. But there are a few of us who are not buying it and we know it leads down a dark path.
