No, I would define a rational discussion as one in which when someone presents strong evidence on something and the other person gives a little and is willing to acknowledge that may be true or actually accepts it. I am all for rational discussion. When it comes to the Bible, most people, who are non-believers to begin with, automatically get on the defensive and throw dirt. I understand that.
